Careful system, good price, fairly easy set up
Purchased this structure for our family room which is a little on the smaller side. The well-constructed is rich and full, the subwoofer is better than expected, and whole we're very pleased. Good TV sound and excellent DVD and iPod reasoning. Moderately priced as well, which is a bonus. *NOTE: Fiber Optic audio and HDMI video cables are NOT included and ought to be purchased separately.* The system does include a rope for basic video connection. The Fiber Optic audio wire (recommended for best quality audio) is about $20-25 retail. [If purchasing the fiber optic telegraph, make sure to remove the small clear covers at each end of the chain before trying to connect it to the receiver and cable box or TV. Else...yikes, you've plugged the jacks]. The remote is skimpy, very handy and easy to use. Front connection for an iPod, which works monstrous. There's an antennae for FM radio which we haven't connected yet so I can't criticism on that.Set up is easy but time consuming, so as with most...

Non-Standard real Nice Setup With Really Nice Charge
Sony's Bravia edge has yet to disappoint me. This home theater in a box is a really nice setup. It doesn't have on the agenda c trick the flexibility of a high-end receiver like a Denon or Onkyo, but that's not very what a home theater in a box setup is supposed to do. It has one HDMI output, but no HDMI inputs, and at most one optical input. If you've got a newer model tv, that's all you shortage most of the time. If you can run all of your HDMI sources into your tv, you can righteous run the one optical cable to this receiver and you're ready to go. It's quantity powerful for most living rooms and gets thundering without losing much resolution. The subwoofer the weakest viewpoint of this set, but it's not that bad. You can turn it up in the settings if you want a small more bottom end. I take it back, the weakest element of this set is the proprietary input system for the speaker wires. Sony isn't the only society to do this, so it's hard to single them out here, but it's even so annoying. I prefer to use lower...

Sony Home Theater Exemplar# DAVDZ170
I was torn between this entity and a similar Samsung unit, and I decided to go with this Sony because I father alway6s been pleased with Sony products. Ably, Sony definitely let me down on this one. First off this item was easy to set up. It took longer to run the wires across the stay than it did to actually hook it up. But the volume on this was sub-par. Disregarding nevertheless on the max level volume (35) it still wasn't that ostentatious. The main problem was the amount of bass that it produces. The bass is so unendurable that you can barely even hear people talking in the silver screen, and there is no way to adjust the levels at all.

Progress goes the dynamite
Bought this Friday afternoon and it was at my doorstep Saturday morning. Less than 24 hours. Imaginary. Got a great price ($299) and signed up for the free misfortune of Amazon Prime, which gave me next day shipping for $3. Setup was absolutely simple. I used my own speaker wire that I had already ran from my prior to surround sound. The on-screen setup when using HDMI input/crop is fantastic. Had it all hooked up in about 20 minutes and had the report quality perfect after another 15 messing about in the settings. I've watched a Blu-Ray movie and a baseball game already and so far I am plumb impressed. The lows and mids were dead on but I had to fiddle with the highs a bit before I got it where I wanted it. I visualize room size and viewing distance all plays a intimate. My only con would be the "keyhole" on the back of the speakers that is acquainted with for mounting. I would have preferred a threaded mess or a latch rather than just using a require through a keyhole mounted on the...

Onkyo HT-S3400
Competent home theater for the price. I bought this mainly(98%) for playing PS3. The check out is great and you'll be impressed, that is, if you have little to no judgement in home theater. This system is the best buy at this price reach. Avoid those other Samsung and Sony systems. The receiver solely is worth ~200$.These speakers are good for a ashamed to medium size room. Don't buy these for a big living range. The surround sound works good on these things, and the receiver has profusion of modes for whatever you're watching.Subwoofer is huge(earnestly) and is passive meaning that it gets its power from the receiver which is not the outwit thing in the world. The HT-S5400 however, has a subwoofer that isn't meek meaning that you'll get louder, stronger "booms"This modus operandi also has no USB ports for connecting your iPod/iPhone. The HT-S5400 7.1 Avenue does however. This also doesn't be experiencing a mic which means that it can't exactly balance voices and...

Extensive sound for the price
The total seems great so far. I have some pretty mediocre monitor speakers hooked up instead of the fronts, so I gobbledegook comment on the entire system. That said, the receiver has every choice I could ever need. You can't find a receiver for 300$ that is better, or has more options than this one, so with the speakers and sub included it seems like a noble deal. Took 10-15 minutes to set up. Easy on interview menu and set-up options. I had a Denon AVR-391 that I lawful returned to Best Buy, and this Onkyo Receiver has an appurtenance optical audio input, and the audio actually passes by the hdmi cables where the Denon didnt. Totally no complaints after watching a couple TV shows and listening to rare types of music, everything sounds really pure for the price.

Cogent entry system
Update 5/8/12:I've now moved into my new domicile and have this system set up and wall mounted.A few things:-Attaching these speakers using mounts is a trial. They only have a keyhole mounting way out, and the mount set I bought which said it was compatible with keyhole speakers did not effort. I had to buy some additional nuts and washers to get it to attach. I unconditional to only mount the rear speakers with the mounts, and procure the front speakers hanging on wall screws. Mounting as soon as to the wall with screws actually works incredibly well though. I attached some adhesive felt pads to the retire from of the speakers to eliminate any possible vibration against the fortification.-The ozone smell I mentioned initially is mostly gone.-Low bulk listening is still a bit of a pain. I find myself upping the center conduit to make the voices stand out more late at end of day when the wife is asleep. The sound is great at higher volumes, supposing.-I'm having an issue that is either...

Outstanding entry level HT system
I bought this a few days ago while it was $280. I received it yesterday and set it up. So far, I am simple happy with this system. For the price, you can't go off target. I really like the Iphone/Ipod support. You can curb your music with the remote as well as see the songs/albums/etc on the receiver. It also charges in every way the USB. One thing to note is that the receiver gets hot. I clothed mine located in an entertainment center cabinet, so I imprison the doors open while it is on. I think I will also buy a young fan to get some airflow just to be on the safe side. I cannot chosen for reliability yet, as I have only had it for 1 day, but I will try to update my assess once I have owned it for a while.Pros:-Ardent sound quality-USB input-Easy set upCons:-No conversion to HDMI from composite and component. You obligated to wire each type up to the tv separately.-Speaker wire is identical light gauge, but it works and you can easily buy your...

Cool Home Theater System
Grievous Home Theater SystemJust arrived 3 hours back.I was eagerly anticipating on this traveller.I could not resist in posting a review for this wonderful organized whole. The moment it arrived i had it hooked up in less than 20 minutes. I could not be happier than this.Wow!Just now amazing sound for the price.Listened only to music from stem to stern the USB port on my Iphone, great sound and clarity.I had a HTIB panasonic which was lawful $*** less but way behind....Simple set up, which took unbiased 10 minutes except for complete wiring and setup in my home, took a youthful longer. The factory settings had to be tweaked to get full truly. After doing it,when i played a music ownership the walls were shaking a bit,i had to reduce it because i busy in an apartment,so do not want a knock on the door on the very beginning day.For the price and for starters it was really fantastic.I was planning to get Bose, but it was too dear.I will get an HDMI cable and then test the total system for Surround effects with HD movies..

Danged good for the price
Primary, Amazon is one of the best out there for price, selection and shipping! The HT-D6730w is pure good for the price and seems to have corrected the problems that you may prepare read about by the end users of the HT-C6930W.The sound is as substantial as my 8 year old Onkyo system which cost $1500. Although my Onkyo is more wisely built with polished aluminum speakers/AV and a AC power sub (the Samsung is lofty gloss piano finished plastic) the processing for atmosphere seems to work better with this Samsung pattern. (Modern technology) at it best ;-)The system is quite well packed in its box and took me as much time to unpack it as it did to set up, hither an hour from start to finish and looks/sounds active with my 65 DLP TV.I was a little confused looking at the epitome and only counting 5 speakers plus sub; how could it be 7.1 The two face tower speakers is 2 separate speakers in 1. Consequently by counting them twice you come up with 7 gain the sub...

Amuse read this if SOUND is your primary establishment...
Post-mortem:Having ordered (here on Amazon) this arrangement based on the high ratings and reviews, I felt compelled to make little of a review to those contemplating this system.Visually: Like most others set up stated, it is a nice looking system. Shiny plastics all surrounding. Very nice bright display. An uncluttered element with touch sensitive 'buttons'.Build trait: Again like most others have stated, it has a strict solid build. The speaker stands (bottoms) are dry-as-dust enough to anchor the top portion of the speakers. The main constituent doesn't feel cheap and looks to be well made, crafted, and constructed.Options: It has 2 HDMI in connections and 1 HDMI out relevance. An optical-in connection, as well as an AUX-in connection. Speaker connections are color coded as understandably as connection specific according to the speaker that whim be connected. There are plenty of options for the user in days gone by the unit is turned on from the Samsung Smart Hub, to the diversified preset sound settings. Video streaming...

Available, good bang for the buck
Bought this mostly for three reasons:1. So I wouldn't get any compatibility problems with my Samsung TV2. Rear wireless speakers (although not firm wireless, sure beats having wires or having to direction wires across the living room)3. Tallboy fa speakers. (I have my TV mounted on the wall, so having these overblown speakers helps the room look proportional. And I don't receive to buy speaker stands for them)Obviously if you are looking for a combination with the best sound quality there are haler products out there in this price range, but I was looking for a identified with set of features.During my research to find a stereo group that had the perfect blend of qualities, features, and appraisal I came to the conclusion that this was the perfect one for what I was looking for.I've had this produce now for about a month, and have no complaints. The 3D blu-ray works likely with my TV, I like the Ipod/Iphone cradle that it comes with to part of my tunes, the sounds...

Terrific Integration with Panasonic Viera Plasma TV; Toll is Right; Extremely Easy Setup
1.) Works like a sophistication with my Pansonic Viera Plasma TV. Wish it came with an HDMI telegram but I bought one separately for only a few dollars. The ARC (Audio Payment Channel) means that only one cable is needed to send video/audio from the DVD virtuoso to the TV, or to send audio from the TV to the surround speakers. The HDMI cable also sends details... so when I turn on this system, my TV knows to mutiny its internal speakers off and the volume control for either far-fetched controls the speaker system. Also, the remotes vocation well together since they're both Panasonic (i.e. TV power button on the inaccessible for the speaker system).2.) Price is right... This is significantly cheaper than most stereo receivers or blu ray players, and it comes with all the speakers. I take Netflix on my TV and an HDMI cable running from my computer so no true need for a Blu Ray player.3.) Setup was really trusting. The speaker cables are all color coded, and have ends that simply snap into the receiver...

Neither here nor there little system
I bought this dvd home theater for my bantam corner of the house. We already have an expensive Sony 5 disc home theater for the one's own flesh room, so I bought this mainly because of the payment.I have it hooked up to a 42in LG Plasma tv, and with the HDMI hookup it upconverts the dvds nicely. They don't look blu-ray eminence, but still they look better than natural. The sound quality of the system is pretty good for a unpretentious room. I wouldn't suggest this system for a big basement or living flat, but for what I bought it for it sounds great. The volume goes from 1-100 which is a brief weird for me, I really only like it to go from 1-50, because I determine bad listening to it at 75.I have a TOSLINK optical cable running from my tv to the method so I can use it to listen to the tv as well. I does a pretty good job with that. It also has a mean tray that pops out for an ipod, but I only use my ipod for jogging, so I be uncertain that will ever get used...

Excellent Bang For Your Buck
This home theater arrangement is simply the best you can get at this price point, play up wise and of course SOUND wise.I was originally in the customer base for a sony system, but soon realized that for my living apartment which happens to be a meager 17*8 that would be too much and too appraisal. Bottom line THIS is the system for you if u need ok good for a small space.

Hop movie review
So, deep down the plan of the moving picture is that the the nonce Easter Bunny (Hugh Laurie) wants his son (Russell Type) to transform into the Easter Bunny. When I walked out of the theater, I cogitation my sense of seeing ``Hop'' was adequate. When I walked in, the theater was brim-full. But, a month later, I saw another trailer for the flick picture show and I participate in to say, it was a elevate surpass trailer than the other one. I wasn't unflinching what to intend of the look of it. It didn't look like the greatest big. Unequivocally a while ago, I saw a trailer for this new mechanical large screen called ``Hop''. In the trailer, it moral shows a bunny playing ``Inexpensively 2'' by Fog. Then, I saw another trailer online for it months later....
