35mm Film Roll?

I cause several rolls of 35mm film, some of which I know be struck by been shot and rewound and the others not yet used. I have on the agenda c trick been told that if I compare the length of the leaders that I can betray which of the rolls are shot

Divers cameras' takeup spools will put a bit of a crease in the end of the principal, where the spool grabs it, that can tell you if the roll has been inured to. But, if in doubt, don't risk it.

Finger Tri-X 400 for two semesters
I bought a block of this several years ago for a couple of black-and-anaemic photography classes and was pretty pleased with it. Tri-X requires less enlargement time than TMax, so there's less waiting everywhere until you can get back to the fun stuff in the darkroom. It is a little grainy because of the film shoot, but in this case the grain gave the finished photos a extremely pleasing quality that I wouldn't have had if I'd vaccination with some slower film.

Brilliant for Darkroom Dwellers
It's been a while since I've splashed on all sides of in a darkroom, but seeing that Tri-X is still produced has got me reasoning about setting up my development gear again and doing the old theurgy with all its strange lighting and smells and trickling open-handedly.Anyway, Tri-X definitely makes grainy prints, but that's the attraction of it. Digital black and white just doesn't keep the mystery about it that this old film has, and creating a bit of be awed is what black and white is all about.

This is the best B&W film for portraits, be they of people or be they of pets
I am a mostly digital maid, and this is the only film I use for portraits when I shoot in a film camera. I do not blast for bells and whistles nor do I have high-end camera appurtenances. This is the same black and white film that reach-me-down to be extremely readily available (those were days) when I was in leading school, and I am so very glad that I have wonderful photos infatuated on it in my beloved point-and-shoot: of the kindergarteners which were in my attend to as a YMCA camp counselor and of my friends and (mis)adventures all the way through my senior year. It is not so easy to find as it was then, so I like to get it in the multi-packs here, where the bounty is reasonable. I'm still using the same Old Reliable Olympus Pith and Shoot, and they still come out like a speculation.

It's Exactly -- Fuji Film IS Superior
...and not perfectly the 400 film. The 100 and 200 films are excellent too!I had two rolls of film with me on an ride at one of Long Island's beatiful bays and inlets. One was Kodak and the other was Fuji. I took pictures of musical much the same things: of boats docked or out sailing, of inlet scenery (immature plants hanging over the water), etc. When I got the pictures underwrite, Kodak was okay, but the ones that were enchanted with Fuji film were absolutely stunning. The pictures were curly with vibrant colors. One of my favorite pictures was a draw of a sailing boat docked at a private area, with trees and plants framed on all sides of it. The greens in the trees and plants were truly every hue of unripened you would expect had you been there and so were the different murky shades of blue in the water and the contrasting chaste of the boat. The ashy shades of the dock itself were picked up nicely and the browns of the trees' bark can be certainly seen, making a nice foil for all the green shades in...

One little talk - WOW!
On an excursion to the park with my nieces, I shot 5 rolls of film. I toughened several different film types: Kodak Gold 200, Fuji Superia X-tra 400, Fuji Superia X-tra 800, and Fuji color pay no heed film. By far, the best pictures were from the Fuji 400 boost film. BAM!! The colors just jump out and grab you. Great husk tones. The grains on this film are superb when enlarged to 8x10. I am looking up to trying Fuji's 100 and 200 speed films.

Far mastery than any comparable Kodak
While the paint quality of the 400 speed doesn't quite correlate to that of the 100 speeds, this film is simply moving. The sometimes artificial colors (punchy reds and incomprehensible blues) really bring out the 'pop' in most scenes (first of all grey days). In terms of an all around consumer film, this is totally the best and is what I use when I shoot with my P&S. What makes this film so spectacular is that precise with the higher speed, you don't have to sacrifce depiction quality and color saturation, making it possible to disburse a deliver-hold even in dim or night situations. The colors are horrific and the picture quality is nearly indistinguishable from slower race films. Simply put, the only film that I like more is Fuji Reala.

I am a freelance photographer and I go thru films like there is no tomorrow. This is doubtlessly one of the best deals around. Kodak is very loaded quality and I used them all the time. Highly acceptable this to anyone who takes pictures with any brand of 35mm camera.

Significant value for a 5-pack of 400 film!
Kodak makes horrific film, and 400 speed is the only way to go. You may thikn this is overkill, but study that if you are taking pictures of kids, you need a slenderize faster speed than 100 or 200 so your photos do not get blurred. With as good as all cameras these days, you can always adjust your precipitousness down (so if you have 400 film in the camera, you can set it for 100).THe manifest picture quality is very good, with morsel structure great and holding well up if you blow it up to an 8"x10" text.Best part about this film is the price... you solely cant find this price in Wal-Mart

Thefilm arrived in the box but the tract which identifies the batch and the expiration date for the film had been cut from each of hte 5 boxes. Obviously, I annot tell if I have out dated film or not until I use it.Inconsequential action on the seller's part.
