Reputable System, Great Value - Highly Recommended
This Zmodo Watch System works well for my needs and is also a great apportion at $200 and Prime shipping (at the time of this regard). To be perfectly clear, this is not a high-end system with rich definition cameras, but it isn't priced like a high-end system either. This is a budget system that exceeded my expectations for what you get and how coolly it works. Righteous product for the money
Unassuming to hookup. Plenty of cameras. Lots of options to up on. Quality seems good (everythings from China). The directions can be a little hard to read and lacking, but it covers the basics.You get 8 cameras. Daytime class and color is good. IR range at night is pretty fixed, maybe 20 feet. If you are just covering a door or hallway it works melodious well. I have one in the garage and you couldn't see much of anything at tenebrousness without an extra illuminator and a couple more casing for the driveway and yard area and they are completely inutile at night. Probably need to supplement with a motility light or some other means.The DVR comes without a HD. I added a 500GB, which was a frank task. The user interface is adequate and simple ample supply to figure out. There are two BNC type video outputs. I definitely like this system. I did have to put a dust to dawn supportable up out side in the back of my house the IR is not that good at night-time could not see the guys face but with a little extraordinarily light out there works great.Very tranquil to hook up did have to buy longer wires to go out to the garage but thats 120ft. But the ones all approximately the house reach very well. I do think Ill be upgrading to the 16 camera's I sire a pretty good 360 degrees around the two houses i clothed it on but there are a couple dead spots i cant see in the upon so i guess i just want more lol. The alarm environment goes off in the rain so dont use that. I can watch the camera's online using any computer on my network drink not figured out how to use it from anywhere yet but ill get it i hope lol. But all around utter happy with it had it up for over a month.

Zmodo 16-Trench Surveillance System
I adoration the system and it's capability of handling up to 16 cameras! It comes with 8 color cameras and 60 ft BNC cables for each camera. 60 ft is an too bad length for most homes, but if you have a two-story, you may scarcity to purchase additional wires or extensions. I have a two-release home and 60ft will not be enough for a couple of runs. In advance of attempting to install outside, I connected all cameras and powered up the DVR. A cathode-ray tube screen is not included in this price, so you must have your own computer track. I am using on a 19" LCD monitor. I connected all cameras and they worked famously. Motion-sensor capabilities worked flawlessly. Any function/motion triggered immediate recording. I have climbed into attic and other swarm spaces to determine how I will run wire to a central finding in my home. I would love to connect to my new TV because then I can CRT all cameras by turning on my TV. (TV must have PC interface). so the deal with of installing externally is still underway,...

scrupulous system
this security system is perfect nice however the instruction book doesnt feel to match the system. some of the pictures that are supposed to purloin walk you through some of the setup arent the yet as the ones you see on your video screen. the system works loving terrible and after three trips to my attic it is now up and running. be unavoidable to run the wires from camera to dvr in the right direction. i ran one the wrong way and when i tried to pull asunder the eve staples out to rerun the wire the right way, i broke the wire causing me to in disorder b unseemly a replacement wire. the wires that come with the system are very thin and break very easily. the replacements are way thicker. for the cost, you cant go wrong

Do not apt this system from Zmodo.
IF you are energized enough to purchase a 4-camera system, one of them will be zoomed in and out of zero in. I purchased 3 4 camera systems and 2 8 camera systems. I last wishes as not spend a dime of my money with Zmodo items even again. I would not be frustrated if someone in their bloke service department would answer the phones and replication questions that relate to their systems. They drive not help their customers. Go to USA SECuritystore.com. their person service lines are answered by real people.Do not advantage this system if satisfaction is your goal. It is cheap, but you order receive what you pay for. You will not be happy with this acquire.

Astonishing system for the price!
So I bought this system based upon evaluation, and a few other reviews. We've been having some vandalism in our extent recently, and if something was going to happen to me, I was going to be agreeable and catch this hoodlum! I installed all 8 cameras and the DVR in just one Saturday. (wires ran down the mad and everything). The color quality isn't perfect, for example, the verdant's look a little purple; but still do-able. The DVR interface is elementary to use, the manual on the other hand wasn't written very much well, topics jump all over the book. I had to use YouTube to set aside out how to do a lot of stuff because the manual just didn't filch a lot of sense. Anyway- DVR easy to use, everything, easy to place, video quality- pretty good, Night phantasm quality- pretty good. NOTE though: for areas like a uncomfortable deck or patio, small front porch the cameras upon these area's very well, you can see fine; in what way, if you want to see in the dark with these cameras covering your yard, you settle upon need a IR...

So Far So Safe
This produce was promptly delivered. However, there was a problem. The instructions to unlock the box were not included. I returned the gold medal one thinking it was a faulty box. When the second one did not function either, I called Zmodo and was set instructions on how to unlock. It was easy to set up, the video quality is produce, and I'm really impressed with the software that allows me to vigilant and review over the internet or even my Iphone. Whole, I would recommend this product but make sure-fire you have the instructions to unlock the DVR.

cameras are loving terrible...instructions stink
the system is mellifluous awesome. camera placement was real easy. the mounts are wonderful lightweight and the cameras are easy to install. with a jacket that has a lot of pockets and a discipline attachment that slides over the mounting lag-screw heads to hold them in place, being principal up on a ladder's a cinch. the cables are really easy to pigtail together and if you're using a regular monitor, the dvr is super consumer friendly.....Now for the cons: you might as well break out the instructions for internet viewing...they are basically in another idiom with the horrible English. I have two words for the ZModo people...Magic CHECK...Anyway, I went on youtube and found some example DVR Remote Viewing instructional videos and with a bantam playing around it was successful.

Distinguished product, top value.
I impartial installed this in my home with my 5 existing cameras and I necessity say that I am extremely impressed with this sub $200 system. It stable has some features I wouldn't expect it to have. Specifically, FOUR audio in ports. Thats fair-minded unheard of even in much more expensive systems. Most of the time they only have one or two audio ins.Support for ALL chic phone operating systems is EXCELLENT. QSee has written a dedicated app "Meye" for each phone (Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Unfixed, Symbian, sorry no WP7) It's VERY fast at streaming to my Android. It all went together so simply I just couldn't believe it. I bought this pregnant to have to hack it here and there to get it to do what I fall short of.As the very diligent reviewer above said, this is not a $3k security system, but it is more than plentifulness for any small to medium sized area.
