Delightfully little Sony
This is not a Superior Definition model, if it were my review would be unreservedly different but beings it's standard def it's okay.Okay in the first place there's the light which is little more than a con, but it does mean that it might need a light in lowlight conditions. It is plumb small, and light, flip the 3" LCD & the camera turns on and the lens opens closely. The battery life is as good as any Sony camcorder and I have an older sony that I acclimatized for 2 years & never had to get another battery for it. Can count on at least an hours importance of juice, but you can power it with the ac adapter.It has no built in honour so you need to buy an SD card, 16GB is good.It does not require very good manual adjustments, just like all sony camcorders I take it, but most of you will be using the iAuto anyways. Some folks about standard definition is dead but it is still used a lot, including all DVD's are not HD.It's affordable and luckily worth the money for a beginner,...

This handycam camcorder was the word go I ever bought, so I can't really compare it with any others. But, I attired in b be committed to noticed that the recorded picture is remarkably stilly, despite one's shaky hands! And I was able to take unblemished pictures through my car windows. The sound is very unmistakable and picks up even the quietest sounds. I don't know how much raise a HD picture would look, so I cannot comment much on the twin quality. However, it is certainly good enough for my touristy purposes. After downloading the software, I was masterful to burn DVD's very easily from the camera (since I arrange an external DVD player attached to my computer). And, it sounds like a "groove machine" when you turn it on and press buttons, as it has all sorts of internal sounds to let you recollect what it is doing!So, I am very happy with this camcorder.

Should prepare went with a high def model
Scads options to choose from. Menu style is very much user friendly. The biggest problem for me was picture property. I understand this is a standard definition camcorder but in low light or indoors the carbon copy was just to grainy. Outdoors the picture is okay but it could be heartier. The battery life wears down extremely self-indulgent so you must have a backup. Overall I should secure paid an extra $200 and bought the CX110 mould. I bought it on 4-8-2011 and I returned it 4-12-2011.

Smashing For The Price
To give to the the review stating the video looked horrible when hooked up to his HDTV, when hooked up to hoard it looks great. No distortion or pixelation at all.If your looking for a budget HD camcorder, this is a terrific buy with some great features at this cost out. The zoom is adequate but requires a very steady participation even with image stabilization on 720P standard operating procedure. Red and blues look a little over saturated but not too bad. Stills look just as advantageous as the video but also requires a steady hand.I gave it 4 stars based on conduct for the money. worth deal for the money, but?
this is a highest hd camcorder with a 5x optical zoom for $180 so be too critical on it would not be pretty good! it is better than the standard def jvc everio i just got rid of. it regular point that it take 10 megapixel stilly photos that look quite good, if you can avoid b repel the camera completely still! if not they get blurry rapidly. and one thing i do not understand is that if i take hd video and put it on my computer it looks honestly good, but if i hook the camcorder to my 42" hdtv to veiw it looks definitely hideous i mean really grainy and pixelated for some sanity? i have not tried to convert and burn on a dvd yet to see how they intention look, but that will be my next project. the software that comes with it is ok at foremost! but hey it is free and is usable! so my verdict is! for youtubing this would be an notable choice. for a videophile or someone who make their own blu ray disc's look else where because this camcorder on probably dissapoint you? and like i said the photo's and...

Enjoyably little Sony

Marvellous little HD camcorder
My new Sony CX160 HD HandyCam. The more I use it, the more I am loving it.It is terribly convenient to use with a perfect size for my medium sized palm, and the zoom & phonograph record buttons conveniently placed on the camera body as good-naturedly as on the touch screen. The touch screen is pretty moral. I would recommend using a scratch guard which makes it easier to clean since it is procumbent to finger prints. The touch screen interface is same intuitive (one cant go wrong with the interface with Sony) and takes however couple of mins to get used to. I started shooting integrity after unboxing it. Coming to the most important position - the picture. The picture quality of the videos is absolutely beautiful. Even under low light (indoors), the picture blue blood is quite good when shot at FX mode. I normally prefer FX mode (60i) which is actually the favour best mode in terms of picture clarity but gives you that bonus shooting time with negligible picture degeneracy as compared to PS mode (60p @ 28Mbps). Skilled Little Camera and Cheaper Here Than Fry's
I in the end took the plunge and upgraded from having to detect blank discs for video recording to this lightweight and thick recorder. I really like the feature of being competent to put it all on a HD, and the zoom is pretty incredible at 42x: I tested one in a Fry's store in the future purchasing here on Amazon, and was able to pick off piddling text words on a sign halfway across the supply.The picture equality to me is crystal clear, and transferred across to my computer for ripping to a DVD without any issues at all. Sony HDR-CX160 superlative ground camcorder
I've owned and tested a new Sony CX series camcorder each year since the CX7. I'm hellishly impressed with the Sony CX160 for ground footage. Testing it the other end of day when my friends rode bulls for the first then ("Dysfunctional Bull Riding" on youtube) I was impressed on the full steadyshot being able to minimize my hand held shaking while the camera was heavily zoomed in. The low lux made the overhead video super bright even in a dark arena. The perceptible mic is nice to have back on a consumer level CX series camera. I yourselves don't like the built in USB cable since I tend to mount my cameras in boxes and helmets but for the as a rule joe, it's nice not to look for a USB cable. The other plus with this camera is you can now command through this cable. Therefore a standard USB charger anchorage in your car or computer can charge the camera. This takes longer than the paradigm Sony charger but nice in a pinch. I've noticed the USB downloading speeds are outrageously slow in this camera. It...

I had owned an earlier scale model of a Samsung SD card camcorder and it did a fine job. I sold it to a friend and later regretted it, so recently unconditional to update and get the newest incarnation of this series. I'm above to be the bad guy, but I have to say I'm not pleased with this particular replica. I'm simply going to make a "list" of the reasons I'm prosperous to return this camcorder to the store:1) A past epitome had a "swivel" strap area so you could pivot the camera fraternity up or down for odd angle shooting - and this feature has been removed from this ideal.2) The F50 does not save all of your menu settings. For exemplification, if you set the digital image stabilization feature and power the camcorder off, the headline will reset to "off" and you must go into the menu each hour you power the camcorder on in order to use it. Best bib Camcorder
I quite love this camcorder! I searched for weeks and watched the worth on several camcorders. This year we will be celebrating numerous important milestones in my family and I don't want the opportunity to examine them over and over again. The only "problems" that I've expert stem from my inability to keep the camera needle-shaped at the action, instead of the ground/floor. The microphone (sombrely) picks up all of my commentary as I tape my sons' baseball games. Makes for a healthy laugh when we watch the playback. The picture trait is crystal clear. Buttons are good size so I don't accidentally hit anything that I'm not intending to. Couldn't be any easier to someway up the camcorder to my tv and watch the videos on a big screen. Now I just need to rouse a tripod.
