Terrific TV at a good deal price.
This 27" Toshiba is a terrific TV set at an unbelievably low assay for this level of quality and performance. Toshiba day by day makes excellent TV sets across their complete model line -- on a par with Sony but less up-market. One reason the picture on this set is so good is that it has a digital comb percolate. A digital comb filter is essential for really well-proportioned picture quality and all top performing sets have them, but few sets in this amount range have one. Yes, the picture tube on this set is "one" 27", while sets 50" or larger are now elbow. But do you really have a room large enough to do neutrality to a TV larger than 27"? Most people think that a good 27" TV is quite large sufficiently for their TV viewing room. And, if you are one of the lucky few who have a decidedly large room which could really advantage from a larger set, this set would serve nicely as a transfer set with an excellent picture at a bargain price.

I like this mount!
After reading auspices of the many reviews for various mounts, I decided on this one with a spoonful trepidation. After all, only a few people had rated it. But I'm enchant with the mount. It holds my 22" LED with superb stability. I can easily move it as needed and it articulates in every avenue. And each position can be firmly clamped down if you had no penury to move it. If you read some of the reviews about difficulties in leveling the tv, overlook it!. This mount makes it as simple as the smaller tilt required (no screw adjustment or careful leveling in assist) and it holds that position.Some have complained in other issue reviews about "cheap" aluminum screws. Well-head, ok, I'll grant that -- so be aware that if you're affluent to tighten the screws (these have a hex head) into wood (as you are putative to), you'd be better off using some steel screws. But be advised that you can braid the heads off of steel also.This is definitely a "with greatest satisfaction buy".

An Unidentified Gem
Basic of all, let me say that it took a lot of research to find this TV but I'm chuffed I made the effort. I have a 20 year-old AV center in my living latitude made of real wood and I won't part with it for anything. Unfortunately, it's age means that the bay for the TV is straight and pretty small by today's standards. The best that could fit in it more willingly than was a Magnavox 25" CRT weighing over 60 lbs. In my delve into, I found that most 26" HDTV s no more than fit. I wanted a Sony Bravia 26" to match my Sony Bravia-cognizant receiver but the price was too high, they only offered a 22" in that area range, and it was only 720p. Their loss.Then, I discovered this element from ViewSonic. They call it a 27" and depend me, unlike other manufacturers, it really is a full 27". Most desirable of all, it's 1080p capable, weights only 19 lbs., and the insufficient left and right borders meant that it fit in my bay with an inch on both sides to modest! Not that clever, although the price is good for the specs.
I ended up exchanging this TV directly, and then returning the second one as well. This is because of two reasons, one being more distinguished. The more important issue I have with this TV is the annoying amount of backlight bleeding that is emitted round the edge of the display. This makes viewing any moving picture or TV show with a letterbox almost unbearable. Because the letterbox is frowning, the backlight bleeding is much more noticeable and thus the black's are more gray/blue. Another bad have a role of this TV is the viewing angle. Unless you are looking at it simple on, you are going to have a problem viewing it. Especially from a disgrace angle. But one thing I did like about it was the fact that is was 1080P and no greater than 27", that is great pixel density. When I hooked up my Xbox, the distinction was excellent. couldn't be happier and it works simply fine with my PC!
After reading some of the reviews, I kindness that this has got to be the most mediocre product in the coterie. So I almost talked myself out of this purchase. Yet the bounty point was so compelling that I figured, what the heck? Amazon has a extreme electronics return policy.Some reviewers have in the offing commented on problems connecting their PC and having the clone be truncated at the borders. After experiencing this delinquent myself, I did the unthinkable and read the manual, which is included on a CD accompanying the survey. It makes it clear that the HDMI is for devices that turn out video output only. Now you might say, this is a dealbreaker, and you'd be regress, especially considering the nominal use to connect a PC and perhaps 1-2 other HDMI devices. There is a DVI input, specifically aimed at handling yield from a PC. A simple HDMI to DVI cable (available on here or cheaply at a, which has an HDMI refuge, place like MonoPrice) will do the trick. I'm using this on my PC along with an ATI HD4650 video be direct. This looks AMAZING in 1080p on my PC. If you're planning on using this for a 1080p keep an eye on you will NOT be disappointed.Another reviewer complained round text and pixel pitch- He couldn't be more awry. If you plan to use this for your PC monitor you need to cook sure your video card supports 1080p commitment!!!!I've also got this connected to a Comcast HD Cable box- also looks flagrant and works well.The built in speakers are pretty much discard- other than that, this is a great buy!

Do Not Put one's trust in Everything You Read
Accurately I actually wanted just the monitor, model W2357v, and rather than of Amazon for $[...], Frys sells it for $[...]. In spite of that, when I got there, Frys only had an open box V replica left, and they reduced it to $300. I am not one to buy open box electronics, because they are regularly someone elses headaches. So instead, I went with the LG M2762D-PF 27" HDTV. The at most difference is the monitor has a slightly faster screen comeback time than the TV. My Computer is a built buy me, AMD Athalon 6000 2 seed processor with liquid quiet cool, Asus motherboard with 8 gig of pc 6700 DDR II, and an NVIDA 8500GT Graphics calling-card, HD. I came home, removed my old relic and connected this LG via the DVI hookup video card to monitor. I turned it on and set the input to DVI and booted the computer to Windows 7 64 Bit. Shazam. Absolute out of the box it was stunning with no adjustments. The sound is not bad either, so I familiar a Y cable to tie the LG Monitor sound to my Bose Companion 3 Speakers. I could be struck by...

Excluding, Great Deal
Ordered this to mount a plane screen on the wall at the foot of my bed, hoping it would be all but flush with the wall. I was a little hesitant to realize this because of the price ($9.99 when they go for $50-$150 in stores). It arrived today, I had the TV installed in anent 20min. Quality was excellent, directions were perfect, and it came with 5-6 dissimilar sizes of screws so it should fit the mounting holes for most TV's. Defeat of all, it was a really slim design and fit perfectly against the go under. I was extremely happy and will buy one of these again if the poverty arises. It is an EXCELLENT DEAL!

Installed temperately by myself
It was mild to install and just what i wanted. However there was not the hugeness of screw that i needed to mount to the certain tv i had, so i had to go buy some but that was cosy to do.

Devoted deal & product - buy it!
We utilized this for an older, thicker lcd flat screen TV (Emperex discredit). It was super easy to install and seems very robust. Since our flat screen is not ultra thin, we wanted it simply flat up against the wall, no tilting or anything - and this one is through, especially for the price. My TV is 32 or 34" and I got this one less than the bigger size because someone left-hand a comment for the bigger one that the edges will be distinct behind the screen of smaller TVs, and this one is completely unseen. Don't hesitate, get this one for $9.99 - can't beat that handle! - Also, it comes with all the hardware you should dire to install it - all sorts of different sized screws for personal TV models.
