Cool overall TV
The set up is sort of easy although I found the manual to be lacking in more minutiae, especially concerning a better explanation of some of the features.The HD perfect is just AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL. I did increase the "Sharpness" from 70 to thither 90, but otherwise, left it on 'AUTO'. I thought the shelter might be a little too big for my computer but I was totally wrong....it is well-founded great! I do not have a HDMI connector for the PC, only the RGB, but it is relieve just outstanding. Hook-up was a matter of just connecting the plugs.The look like is better than good, but not great. (Below, you ordain see how I was able to improve it)I was going to give it 4 stars because the non-HD channels are only good, and acceptable; but, the more I look at it, I realize it is in actuality pretty good. Matchless TV For The Money
I have to preface my review by saying I didn't buy the LG 450 online, I bought it at a big box depend on because they had a better price:I wanted an budget-priced TV for the bedroom and the LG 450 is a good choice, the picture characteristic is very good for it's price. I didn't need 120Hz so I saved $150 by buying the 60Hz pattern. The LG 450 has Expert ISF Settings so you can have it professionally calibrated or do it yourself, it has a built-in downcast filter and calibration wizard. The ATSC tuner is unquestionably powerful because I get all the local stations OTA with an indoor antenna. This copy is not internet enabled so you need a set top box to get Netflix, etc. As with all TV's the far-sighted isn't great but it does have bass and treble controls. A fair surprise
I English didn't know what to expect. I bought this TV on buying at Best Buy for 100 dollars off. I was in the market for a new TV, actually my primary TV purchase.After a week of use, I am very very contented with my purchase.The picture quality is fantastic. Every viewpoint of the picture can be customized- how warm the picture is, brightness, gamma revealing, etc. Let me say, out of the box the picture was great, this options are more for if you are sheer particular.The sound quality is adequate. Not the absolute vanquish, but it is a very solid TV. My dad's bravia's sound quality is a lot worse so I am appreciative that this setup is good.As far as features are solicitous- it has all of the standards (sleep timer, auto-on/off, etc). It is missing image-in-picture but this seems almost irrelevant for the mass of the TV. Rethink written by K.WatsonThey stripped a lot of features out for 2012 more than the same 2011/2010 line/models. The reasons are unclear. I take to just make more money and fleece their customers self-possessed more. They removed so many great features that indeed made this a great set but they kept the evaluation the same, which I would like to point out is already considerable compared to other models in the size. There is simply no sense or logic in the stripping of these features whatsoever.They removed a HDMI refuge. Now there are not enough ports to hook up everything you neediness. Deal breaker for most potential customers quickly there. With just 2 ports, I've already had to abandon out my set away from the wall several times to alter between consoles, or if I want to watch a bluray cinema or if I want to watch cable. It's a hassle. God only knows why LG would rub out a very much needed HDMI port from us. Be revenged the guy at Best Buy told us that he does not recommend this set to anyone because it...

Extremely disappointed . . .
Do not buy this TV gravid to get the same quality that the 32LD450 and the 32LK450 had. While it may be the 32LK450's replacement, it certainly doesn't tangible up to its predecessor. The only area of "improvement" is that they wish all allegedly have IPS screens. The one I purchased was an S-IPS (I would suffer with chosen A-MVA if I had a choice), the other unit on the shelf had the verbatim at the same time AUSY code, and so did the display unit. The IPS is only an "recuperation" though if you were playing the panel lottery with the 32LK450 and irksome to find an IPS panel instead of the A-MVA panel. The TV I got has a very minutest amount of backlight bleed on the bottom edge minor extent to the right of the center. It's not very noticeable with the backlight down but if you hold it high, it stands out and has been getting worse. Initially there was no banding on the DVI>HDMI signal from the PC on different test pages but, that has started to show up as sufficiently for some reason. Speaking of tests, do not bother...

A respected but not great set
LG's moderate-mid level sets have earned a reputation for having low gaming lag, ardent color accuracy, and the most extensive features and exact replica options of any sets at or even above their payment level. The CS560 series still delivers in these regards, but to a lesser bounds than earlier models.The styling and build rank of the TV are very good overall. My panel is an S-IPS type and most owners on forums secure confirmed the same, suggesting that LG may not be conducting a panel raffle (randomly shipping VA and IPS panels for the same model) this year. The buttons are all put one's hand on sensitive, which is a nice feature but makes them tough to find in the dark. One complaint to make about the set is that it buzzes faintly unless the backlight is set to 100, which can be a small annoying when using the set quietly at night.The input lag at 1080p seems to common around 1-2 frames, keeping with LG's guideline for fast processing time. Exceptional Mid-Range HDTV!
I wanted to edge an tv that didn't break the bank, but met my criteria of40-42", multiple HDMI input, PC input, 1080p, 120hz and this fit the charge. I stayed away from plasma because to me the LCD envision quality is much crisper and I stayed away from LED because for the unchanged sized LCD I can get a bigger screen.Note: The room that this tv resides in is 11' by 15' and it sits 8' away from the day-bed. The size is just right for the room.Initial SetupSetup was darned easy and I was up and running within minutes of taking the tv out of the box. I had to induct the included stand and then set a couple of options and the pass once the unit was powered on. The stand base is made out of cheap but is connected to the tv with a metal bracket. That said, when we beginning set the tv on the console it wobbled and I was concerned at first, but after a few days, I already forgot that it initially wobbled, so this was a non-outflow. Really happy!
Had it for wide a week now. Excellent TV.....exceeded my expectations! The HD feeds from the networks are blowin' my forget! Beautiful color and black levels. I'm a newbie there so save up that in mind but it looks great and can really mesmerize me. In front of this, I bought a 1080p vizio 22" LED for my bedroom.....brooding that was great and that the larger screen would not defer up in comparison....but it's so much better!!! Unusually pleased by both price and product quality.
Having both sold and owned a multitude of electronic devices that included Sony, Panasonic and others too numerous to touch on and I freely admit to being a Sony lover until this toe-hold. This set replaces a Sony rear projecting Sony flatties b lowlands screen that required a blub replacement, the set someone back of which was over 30 percent of what the new set fetch me. After comparing the picture quality and features offered by diverse brands including LG, Sharp and Sony among them, I ground Panasonic equaled or exceeded what the competition offered and dig now I have no reason to regret my dissension to buy it. That being said, I am entirely pleased with Amazon as a seller. Having been a retailer who considered serving of prime importance, I hate Box Stores approach to merchandizing that relies on the Penetrating Sell by their employees and considers the obligation ceases in a trice the item moves out the doorway and becomes the buyers accountability should a problem surface. Not bad for the payment
I in days bought an LG 42LD550, used it for a few months and was quite on top of the world with its quality, but the 42" screen size was a itsy-bitsy too small for my living room, so I decided to get a bigger TV as opposed to. The LD550 has better features than the LK520 -- its internet claim was one thing that attracted me, but it requires an adapter which doesn't crop up b grow with the TV, so I never got to test it. I guess I don't need this memorable part anyway, so I returned it and bought the 47" LK520, at the unaltered price --- it was on sale on Amazon for about 7 hundred.The shipping:This paragon came out in March 2011, and I placed the order in April. I feeling because it is relatively new, so I had to wait 4-6 weeks for the commodity to be shipped.So after waiting patiently for over one month, my TV inexorably came. I was expecting the guys from the shipping house to open the box and let me check the TV, just like what they did when I bought the other LG beau id. I was surprised...

Without equal TV
I have in the offing had this TV for only a few days, but it appears to be exactly what I wanted. The LK520 LG exemplar is very similar to the earlier model LD520 (praisefully rated), except that the dynamic contrast is manifestly a bit better for the LK520(150K to 1 vs 100K), but I suspect that may not be that noteworthy.INPUT-OUTPUTIt has sufficient inputs (HDMI, component, etc), and outputs, although I even so wish these new HDTVs had a regular stereo efficiency (ie., 2 RF outputs) so I could use them with my old amplifier. The LK520 however has 1 optical digital audio output. However, the balanced from the LK520 speakers is surprisingly robust, although most require probably want more to complete the home theater happening. The LK520 also has a USB port, but I have not used this yet. The specs say you can link your external USB devices for JPEG photos or MP3 files. (Note, this original does NOT have any internet connection capabilities--how in the world you could hook this up to a BluRay DVD player that...

steer clear of intro and specs because you guys can find those anywhere onlinei understand through all the reviews before i bought this TV and it helped a lot. Glaring tv for the Price!
The aforesaid reviewer got this tv from the same place I did. Sears had the A- price for this size tv after I checked yon. I was impressed with the service I got there as well. Panasonic is a calibre name and is tops for trouble free manufacturers for tv's, and this one has a excess picture for my needs. Since I got an HDTV cable box the counterpart is crystal clear. I also think the sound characteristic is great. It's not a fancy tv with LED or 120MHz, or wifi capabilty, but those tv's charge a lot more. But for a non-LED this screen is thin. As for 60MHZ vs. 120, you may make out a difference, but I don't think it's worth paying extra to steer clear of the occasional jitter. If you want streaming you are better of with getting another gubbins for this such as a PS3. Many reviewers with wifi effective tv's built in complain they don't work well or extremity adapters anyway. For my needs this tv is first refinement. I love Amazon, but they don't always have the best clothes price.

My Fourth Panasonic HD!
This is my forth Panasonic HD (all are undisturbed in use) so I was not looking to spend alot of money. Got this from Sears today for $500. The show is great for cable TV. You would not notice the 60MHz blurs unless someone told you to look for them. No problems at all with the viewing cusp. It does not have internet access but if you have PS3 or a Roku, you're all set. I looked at discrete brands in the store and the pictures all look the same - the contrariwise difference between them is price and quality. If your budget is $500, this is the one to get!
