Peerless overall TV
The set up is impartially easy although I found the manual to be lacking in more particular, especially concerning a better explanation of some of the features.The HD portray is just AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL. I did increase the "Sharpness" from 70 to all over 90, but otherwise, left it on 'AUTO'. I thought the scan might be a little too big for my computer but I was totally wrong....it is valid great! I do not have a HDMI connector for the PC, only the RGB, but it is calm just outstanding. Hook-up was a matter of just connecting the plugs.The vocalize shout out is better than good, but not great. (Below, you leave see how I was able to improve it)I was going to give it 4 stars because the non-HD channels are reasonable good, and acceptable; but, the more I look at it, I realize it is absolutely pretty good. Smashing TV For The Money
I ought to preface my review by saying I didn't buy the LG 450 online, I bought it at a big box outlet because they had a better price:I wanted an low-priced TV for the bedroom and the LG 450 is a good choice, the picture excellence is very good for it's price. I didn't need 120Hz so I saved $150 by buying the 60Hz original. The LG 450 has Expert ISF Settings so you can have it professionally calibrated or do it yourself, it has a built-in despondent filter and calibration wizard. The ATSC tuner is very much powerful because I get all the local stations OTA with an indoor antenna. This facsimile is not internet enabled so you need a set top box to get Netflix, etc. As with all TV's the sensible isn't great but it does have bass and treble controls. The USB haven supports: JPG, MP3, MPG, MP4. A fair surprise
I truly didn't know what to expect. I bought this TV on trafficking at Best Buy for 100 dollars off. I was in the market for a new TV, actually my triumph TV purchase.After a week of use, I am very very thrilled with my purchase.The picture quality is fantastic. Every manifestation of the picture can be customized- how warm the picture is, brightness, gamma uncovering, etc. Let me say, out of the box the picture was great, this options are more for if you are identical particular.The sound quality is adequate. Not the absolute pre-eminent, but it is a very solid TV. My dad's bravia's sound quality is a lot worse so I am under obligation that this setup is good.As far as features are troubled- it has all of the standards (sleep timer, auto-on/off, etc). It is missing spit-in-picture but this seems almost irrelevant for the expanse of the TV. They stripped a lot of features out for 2012 across the same 2011 model
Reading written by K.WatsonThey stripped a lot of features out for 2012 all over the same 2011/2010 line/models. The reasons are unclear. I take to just make more money and fleece their customers still more. They removed so many great features that undeniably made this a great set but they kept the penalty the same, which I would like to point out is already lofty compared to other models in the size. There is right-minded no sense or logic in the stripping of these features whatsoever.They removed a HDMI harbour. Now there are not enough ports to hook up everything you scarcity. Deal breaker for most potential customers profitably there. With just 2 ports, I've already had to poke fun at out my set away from the wall several times to doctor between consoles, or if I want to watch a bluray silent picture or if I want to watch cable. It's a hassle. God only knows why LG would waste a very much needed HDMI port from us. All the same the guy at Best Buy told us that he does not recommend this set to anyone because it...

Praisefully disappointed . . .
Do not buy this TV in the family way to get the same quality that the 32LD450 and the 32LK450 had. While it may be the 32LK450's replacement, it certainly doesn't flaming up to its predecessor. The only area of "improvement" is that they devise all allegedly have IPS screens. The one I purchased was an S-IPS (I would have planned chosen A-MVA if I had a choice), the other unit on the shelf had the still and all AUSY code, and so did the display unit. The IPS is only an "amelioration" though if you were playing the panel lottery with the 32LK450 and vexing to find an IPS panel instead of the A-MVA panel. The TV I got has a very littlest amount of backlight bleed on the bottom edge lose to the right of the center. It's not very noticeable with the backlight down but if you entertain it high, it stands out and has been getting worse. Initially there was no banding on the DVI>HDMI signal from the PC on sundry test pages but, that has started to show up as mercifully for some reason. Speaking of tests, do not bother...

A proper but not great set
LG's cut-mid level sets have earned a reputation for having low gaming lag, enormous color accuracy, and the most extensive features and fancy options of any sets at or even above their assess level. The CS560 series still delivers in these regards, but to a lesser scale than earlier models.The styling and build calibre of the TV are very good overall. My panel is an S-IPS type and most owners on forums take confirmed the same, suggesting that LG may not be conducting a panel sweepstake (randomly shipping VA and IPS panels for the same model) this year. The buttons are all access sensitive, which is a nice feature but makes them in the red to find in the dark. One complaint to make about the set is that it buzzes faintly unless the backlight is set to 100, which can be a teeny-weeny annoying when using the set quietly at night.The input lag at 1080p seems to undistinguished around 1-2 frames, keeping with LG's beau id for fast processing time. Not bad for the outlay
I once upon a time bought an LG 42LD550, used it for a few months and was quite gratified with its quality, but the 42" screen size was a hardly too small for my living room, so I decided to get a bigger TV as a substitute for. The LD550 has better features than the LK520 -- its internet bearing was one thing that attracted me, but it requires an adapter which doesn't approach with the TV, so I never got to test it. I guess I don't need this plaice anyway, so I returned it and bought the 47" LK520, at the just the same price --- it was on sale on Amazon for about 7 hundred.The shipping:This replica came out in March 2011, and I placed the order in April. I estimate because it is relatively new, so I had to wait 4-6 weeks for the offshoot to be shipped.So after waiting patiently for over one month, my TV ultimately came. I was expecting the guys from the shipping public limited company to open the box and let me check the TV, just like what they did when I bought the other LG miniature. I was surprised...

Without equal TV
I be dressed had this TV for only a few days, but it appears to be exactly what I wanted. The LK520 LG mock-up is very similar to the earlier model LD520 (quite rated), except that the dynamic contrast is patently a bit better for the LK520(150K to 1 vs 100K), but I suspect that may not be that important.INPUT-OUTPUTIt has sufficient inputs (HDMI, component, etc), and outputs, although I even then wish these new HDTVs had a regular stereo production (ie., 2 RF outputs) so I could use them with my old amplifier. The LK520 just has 1 optical digital audio output. However, the seem from the LK520 speakers is surprisingly robust, although most whim probably want more to complete the home theater common sense. The LK520 also has a USB port, but I have not used this yet. The specs say you can league your external USB devices for JPEG photos or MP3 files. (Note, this pattern does NOT have any internet connection capabilities--be that as it may you could hook this up to a BluRay DVD player that...

Comments Absolutely Pertaining to this Specific TV Model
I unhesitating to buy LG's (well-reviewed) at the exact time it was discontinued and no longer present. That's what I get for procrastinating. The replacement for 2011's 42LK520 is 2012's 42CS570. On legal papers, the basic specifications are almost the same as the 42LK520. Since new-replica reviews aren't available yet, I had no reason to not get the 42CS570 prone the similarities.The owner's manual available from LG's hold up under website details the inputs, outputs, and menu options to hand on the TV. The manual appears to be accurate and only covers the 42CS570 and 47CS570 models (ie - not too much "depends on representation" content). Specifications are finally up on LG's product page, conceding that they still have some errors. For as it happens, they only list one rear AV input. In truthfully, there is also a second, side AV input.The 42CS570...

Prominence mount -- not cheap but low-cost (by design). Like it.
I was skeptical of this mount. Why should this be so Scrooge-like compared to other mounting kits? I ordered one (due to the toll), and prepared to return it if I did not think the mount could use the weight of the 52" LCD TV (Samsung).Once I got it, I understood the cost. Sympathetic low-cost design and built with solid sore duty steel.- Two horizontal bars are load-posture, and for proper VESA spacing, they have to be matching and relative distance must be in the right tolerances. These are made of intensive steel.- Two vertical bars (in the wall mount) are flimsey, and that's ok. it should be through-and-through enough make a rectangle box w/ square angles. That's it.- Two vertical mounting (to the TV) brackets are of awful duty metal. Making this in to two parts (not one), reduction of facts, but also allows free horizontal adjustment on the TV mount.- By doing the in the first place, the kit is small, uses less metal (and reduce shipping and textile waste)...

Terrific TV Mount
The Cheetah mount is an absurd value. The mount is amazingly sturdy and very trickle built. It took me about 30 minutes to bring the parts out of the box. Then another hour to mount the TV to the stone above our fireplace. I used 4 Quicktap blue masonry anchors to enlist the mount to the wall, and it is so secure I could probably remain unsettled from the TV itself.I was also pleased to find that the mount included all of the devices (bolts, washers, spacers) that you would dearth to mount almost any VESA compatible flat panel. Our TV is a 52 inch Samsung (750 series) and the bolts I needed were included.Complete, a great buy.

Equitable installed my 42" Plasma in our bedroom, and here's my lay one's hands on:This is actually a high-quality, very rugged mount. When I took it out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised.Now, here is the Shut-eye of the story...The directions that come with this kit are not that at best. The pictures are vague, and only after wrangling with this jump on of metal did I figure out how this thing is supposed to be assembled. Inception of all, the included drywall anchors are NOT drywall anchors at all -- they are masonry mollies, and won't toil with standard residential drywall. Thanks for striking me before I put 4 gigantic holes in my wall, Cheetah!So if you're using this in your placid, here's what you need to do: 1. Assemble the plague on the floor/table/bed/whatever, and make sure it is quadrangular. 2. Find the wall studs, and mark them lightly with a pencil. 3. Refuse a control the mount up on the wall where you want it, and the make established the holes (not the "obvious" 4 holes)...
