Blu-ray Disc Recorders?
I've got a sony HD Video camera, the 40Gb HDR-SR10 and i'm annoying to copy the avchd files using the panasonic Blu-ray Disc Recorder with 500GB HDD & Join HD Tuner onto a blu-ray disc. But when i try it says there is not adequate space on the disc.

It doesn't look like anyone knows the meet to this one. I'd suggest uploading it to a desktop computer, sponsorship it up to a hard drive, then delete half of it off of your camcorder. That should uninhibited up enough space to get you the 1st disc

Works Vast with Mac!
I receive been archiving my work on DVD-DLs for a while, but now my files comprise gotten too big so I wanted a Blu-ray burner for my 2011 MacBook Pro to Archive on. Had a bankrupt time finding one as Apple doesn't seem to beat the drum for optical backups. Decided to try the Sony VBD-MA1 and to my surprise it worked on firstly try. The Mac recognized immediately. I use Toast to burn and it was easy and unwavering. I recommend this any Mac user.

Fast Product! Finally found what I was looking for.
I've been waiting for a offshoot like this for awhile.-Burn to Blu-ray discs-Expert HD quality-It's really simple to use-Compact designI bought this ground I have a HD camcorder and the built-in 120 gb hard ride has reached it's capacity. Now I can record and save my videos to blu-ray discs. First this product, I had to burn to DVDs and that nullified the HD status of my videos. I highly reccomend this product to anyone that wants to long their HD videos to Blu-ray discs.

OK if you be subjected to other Sony equipment
If you do not be experiencing a Sony Handycam, you will not be able to record your HD video onto a dvd or blu-ray disc. Any other camcorder has to be connected via RCA yellow video composite rope. I also tried an SC memory card from my canon HD camcorder in the recall card slot but it didn't record anything in the face the message from the unit that recording was round off. This is a Sony-specific product.

Noble Experience Streaming, Blu-Ray & External File Playback
Chose this standard because it had streaming, DLNA, and wireless built-in (you don't need a disunite dongle). I have not been disappointed in any of its functions. Wireless connectivity was a easy - setup was straightforward and this model accepts a 32-honesty WPA2 security key (unlike previous LG TVs and Blu-ray player models which were reduced to 18-20 characters, as I discovered when I bought a wireless dongle for our TV!). The wireless coherence seems to be much more stable than with the other wireless devices we enjoy. I occasionally have to turn off and on again to get a connection on startup, but this is unsurprising presupposed how flaky our router is ... :-)Blu-ray playback is really well-founded. Our first Blu-ray disc looked grainy and I was concerned until I interpret various forum discussions that criticized this moving picture transfer. Many Blu-ray movies are apparently intentionally grainy because this duplicates the "film over" experience that the director intended. You can use the movie...

A Pair Steps Up From the BD390, But Not Perfect. (Yet)
I bought this trouper a month ago and wanted to wait and get some ample use period with it before I left a review. The LG BD670 is my split second standalone blu-ray player, where my first was the LG BD390 (2009 paragon). (It also really says something when in 2009 I paid $330 for the BD390, yet one 2 years later pay only $154 for the BD670.) I marked to go with LG again because of my experience with dead and buried performance and they give all the features I want. As with most blu-ray players like this one firmware updates are a forced to, so as soon as I got the player connected to my network (wireless) I got it updated to the latest firmware. So far I am melodic impressed with most, but not all aspects of this musician. There are 3 main viewing methods I use to watch videos with this especially bettor: discs (30%), USB (30%) and streaming/wireless (40%). I'll dish detailed reviews of these since they're what I use.* DISCS: With both the cleverness to stream AND watch video files via the USB port (as...

attractive thorough support samba linux mediatomb netflix amazon vod pandora
Upsides: Pandora works nicely. Some other good internet radio options.Netflix interface chaste. The best thing here is the SAMBA, CIFs or Windows portfolio sharing (Whatever you call it) is nice. Works first-rate with Linux, works fine with MediaTomb upnp server. Couldn't unearth right transcoding options, but didn't need it... well-proportioned with mp4's ripped h.264 and does mp3. plays flick video files natively no problem. Pause, rewind, high-speed forward over streaming (cifs or upnp).LCD open out shows timecode when playing streams from samba or upnp.Bought logotype to have single device for netflix and home media serving.Plays mp3's nicely.Excel than ROKU for me since it does SAMBA and UPNP for cosy streaming, wasn't clear if Roku did that.Wi-FI, wired.Oh, and it plays BD's too, I tested one, but not my springtime reason for purchase.Unit stays cool, is critical and small and does what I need.Downsides: no screensaver in pandora, fearing wish-in...

This is a considerable Streamer / Bluray and DVD player
This is a astonishing Streamer/Bluray/DVD player. I haven't experienced any issues whatsoever playing secretly Bluray disks. Boot times are very talented with the disks I tested. Everything played disavow perfectly with stunning picture quality. But, I really purchased this player for its streaming abilities. Sony players were dinged in the history for a poor Netflix experience. Sony have inflexible this with a updated Netflix interface that supports 1080p and Dolby Digital+ streams. Similarly Amazon VOD supports Dolby Digital bitstream audio, and VUDU and HULU+ are unchanged from the 2011 players, but toil fine. Its also nice to have "crackle" on there so you can take in the odd Seinfeld episode when you fancy.I also tested the jock with a DNLA server. Sony seem to guide Serviio (free) so I think they must check-up the DLNA features of the player with this software. I tested photos, music and video and all things played back perfectly.Anyway, a great banner/disk player. Highly...

Eximious all around player(review with light "investigation" info)
This isn't a wonderful in depth review, but will give you more info that most intention in a fairly brief summary: First off, I am a Sony TV guy who bought TWO Panasonic Blu-Ray players endure year due to their seeming superiority(reviews, pro and online stores).Basic step for any modern electronic device, update your firmware. My incipient update took over 5 minutes. I also second registering at internet.sony.tv as in the past some Sony products won't attach to certain services until you do. I connected to AmazonVideo on Request and Netflix, BEFORE I registered it, so they may have responded to complaints and dropped the qualification, but incase there is a service that require it get it out of the way, it contrariwise takes a minute if you have a Sony account alreadyNetflix app(they upgraded! Sony fans elated!): One glaring fault with (past/pre-2012?) Sony visual products is their Netflix app, as for years Sony unfaltering to have a proprietary interface, and...

Crap-shooter than expectations
I diverge with the other reviewer about performance and prominence of this product. Thats why I am writing this review article. This is my fist BP player. I been using WD TV Red-hot hub for a long time. I will compare it with WD for the identical features. Here are my individual ratings5/5 for Network configuration. It was perfect I was done with both wired and wireless in brace of minutes.5/5 for Netflix experience. Interface is nonetheless as provided by WD.5/5+++ for YouTube. Interface is much much advance then WD. Searched videos keeps playing continuously. Moderate access to playlist and subscribed channels.5/5 for Amazon Video. immaculate and 5.1 sound playback.4/5 for other internet contents. WD has more options.1/5 for internet browser. Sickening experience. Very difficult to work with interface. Wii has much strike internet browser then this.----0/5 for DLNA playback. This is the worst separate. Serious Blu-Ray, on demand video serious problem
We acquire had excellent experiences with Sony video and audio products. Their devices price a little more than their competitors but they are penetrating quality, last a long time, and are easy to use. All of our electronics (except computers) are Sony. This blu-ray is no rarity. Easy to setup, easy to use, some surprise features, unobtrusive.Well the problem is on demand video from netflix or amazon or any other benefit. It simply doesnt work... often. Its registered, and I verified it with Sony. Its connected to the internet with no problems and the browser works. Movies squirt no problem on my PC. We have 6Mbs DSL so movies stream no problems on our PC. I flat placed it in the DMZ to allow all ports to talk to it without proviso, no dice. Netflix has the unit registered and it is receiving facts. It connected wired and wirelessly with neither working correctly with on necessitate video services. We got 1 movie to work only. All the kip of the time it doesnt...

A lofty device but some weird network issues
[This is a elongated review warranted by the number of features of the BDP-S580. Most successfully Blu-Ray Player out there
I did a lot of examination before purchasing this player. I am not a big Sony fan, and skeletal more towards Samsumg. I got a Samsung C6800 and returned it after a few days. When I got the Sony, the principal difference I noticed was the user friendly XMB menu bar on this especially bettor. Setting up options was a breeze and there are quite a bit that can be tweaked. The built-in Wi-Fi works flawlessly. Another encomiastic feature it has is that as it streams content, it would disclose you the current download speed which is neat. Scarceness to control your player from your phone, there's an iPhone App for that. Load times and display quality are comparable. It has nice sleak remote as opposed to the completely-frankly ugly Samsumg remote. So all in all it is a solid contender and it has alot of the little touches that make it the wealthiest out there. On a side note, I agree with the other reviewer at hand the limitation of picture quality on component video connections. But I would'nt use up any stars from this player for that...

Dad's Go over again
I lawful needed a solid Blue Ray DVD player - to play DVDs. I bought this off the shelf at Quarry for $99, plugged it in and it worked great. I liked the extraordinarily quick start up from the time you put the disc in until it is playing on the conceal. Excellent picture. Super slim and attractive stiff. Very simple to use. Requires no intelligence to set up or operate. (Don't think of to buy whatever cables you need - none included except the power seal off) If you want an easy to use player to watch DVDs this one is a passionate value for the cost and really does give a first-rate, clear picture.

Super Blu-ray picture and Netflix streaming
I've had this Bd75 for with respect to a month now. When I first received it , I had problems. I principally got this unit so I could stream Netflix movies, and wanted to acquire a Blu-ray player to connect to my Panasonic TC-L42U22 1080p LCD TV.When the sportsman chose to work, I was overwhelmed by the fantastic picture attribute of this TV/Blu-ray combo. But, the Bd75 had bugs, and if you're like me, if something doesn't drudgery as it should right out of the box, chances are things are only succeeding to get worse.I decided that the Bd75 was so good at streaming Netflix movies that I would upkeep it, bugs and all.Now for the really good news. I turned the module on a few days ago, and had a on-screen message that there was a firmware update ready. Version 1.19 I let it download. It restarts itself after the download, and since then, NO bugs, motionless-ups, or any other problems. If this firmware update does its job, then this Bd75 punter will be a steal at the $99.00 it sells for.

Tranquilly to use, DLNA takes some work
I press been waiting for this Blu-ray player since it was announced in January, bought this to use with my Panasonic VIERA TV set. VIERA concatenate is the main reason I bought this -- it's for our distress room, and my wife hates all the remotes. Great as a focal DVD/blu-ray player. Pop in a DVD, TV turns on, and sets the correct input. Also, one button piece of Netflix works great, and the new Netflix interface includes search. On screen interface is also bare nice and easy to use. As will all new players, only has HDMI and composite video connectors, but unique HDMI for video and audio is nice and is required for VIERA vinculum.Only reason for the 4 stars is DLNA (which in not reasonable an issue with this device). Scribble literary works this in the hopes of saving at least one person the hours I out setting this up. First, with my Windows 7 PC, the signet was able to see and play the Windows Media Center .wtv files (I participate in a TV tuner card in my PC), so you can record shows on your PC and...
