...you say 'cheapskate', I say 'returns'
I was respecting to return this phone because Verizon wanted a $45 evidence plan just to activate it; then I read the effulgent comments by Chuck Homic.Opening the package, I saw the ESN/MEID HEX printed on the box. I held down the power button until the PALM happy-go-lucky lit up on-screen. It took a while for it to boot up. The phone tried twice to yell Verizon and activate itself, to no avail. On another phone, I called the Servant Plus Cellular toll-free number and gave them the Pixi's MEID and the phone reckon that I wanted ported from my active, prepaid Verizon phone. They gave me a 'Leading Package' 6-digit activation code to dial from Pixi, and said that Verizon is mostly quick to release your old number and to call side with when they have done so.It took nearly an hour or so that the old cell number stopped ringing the old phone, indicating that it had been ported. In grouping to dial the activation code on the Pixi, you first thronging the little phone symbol...

Notable Entry Smartphone, Not good for intense users.
I bought this Palm Pixi Additional to replace a failing Palm Pre Plus. My biggest grumble about the Pre Plus was its keyboard, it was hard to use, and keys many times failed. It was my third Pre, and I still have time on my commitment, so even though I want to switch to an Android based phone, I chose to go with this because the expenditure (where as an Android phone would be much more precious).Positives:So far, my experience with the Palm Pixi Addition has been much better than the Palm Pre Addition. The hardware seems to be built a little better (no sliding pathetic parts), the keyboard is much easier to use and is responsive (setting aside how, my "R" key needs to be pushed a little harder than the others to come back. Even though it "clicks", it won't type until you importune just a little bit more. Still MUCH control superiors than my Pre.) I like the size of the Pixi superiority than the Pre as I'm not a fan of having a huge smart phone.I only definitely use the device to receive e-mail, check social...

DO NOT BUY FROM THE OEM Store
Keen phone, The OEM Shop stinks! This item advertised as new was not in manufacturers packaging, also included no manuals. Entered ##786# to recoup out if phone is truly new as-advertised. It is not, it's a refurb that I could experience gotten cheaper elsewhere. I ordered the Palm Pixi Plus and the Stereo Headphones together but didn't show in headphones, emailed The OEM Shop, 5 days later. no comeback. Called their listed # 718-362-2255 and it's out of service. Straight noticed that only one speaker is working. You get what you pay for but I paid for new. I muse over I lost $55 here as I'm afraid to return and ascendancy up losing all I have to show for this deal which is the refurbed semi-operational phone. Given the ethics of The OEM Shop I wonder if should vexation about having my identity stolen when using this cadency mark.Nice phone, The OEM Shop stinks!Enter ##786# to corroboration if your "new" phone is refurbed.

A accurate phone, good battery life, snappy and perfect extent.
I times had an iPhone 3G, I loved that phone but it broke and I wasn't cheerful to sign a new contract so I moved to Virgin Mobiles Optimus V. I liked that phone as it was my pre-eminent step into the android world. I then bought (and returned) a Motorola Victory which was supposed to be a good phone but it failed. I then conclusively decided to step up to the Galaxy S2 and while it's only been a few days I'm sheer pleased.Battery life:I started my day out yesterday roughly 5:30 am, as I drove to work I had a video podcast playing on the phone and that ran for there 30 minutes during my commute. I got to work and then started playing a not much with the phone but mainly using it for web browsing and listening to Audio the balance of the day. I did play some words with friends, downloaded a few new apps from the furnish and showed off the phone and by 1:30 pm I was at 60% battery life. Not bad to however use 40% in 8 hours. At that rate it's approx 5% battery per hour which tells...

Galaxy S II versus iPhone 4S? Can't go crooked with either
After being an iPhone / iOS consumer for a year and a half and as an Android / Atrix user for sole 6 months (thankfully without a contract extension), I acclimatized that saved upgrade subsidy on getting a SGS2. After following the thunder reviews overseas about it, and after enjoying the developer loving Android OS, I figured this would be the phone I would use for the next few years. Complete, it is an absolute gem of a phone that has little nuances here and there. When compared to an Atrix 4G, it's quite night and day. All the hype over Samsung's AMOLED Addition screen is no joke. The colors are absolutely brilliant in resemblance to Motorola's Pentile display. Moving about the screen is satiny smooth, with no lag at all. Going back to the Atrix, you can blab the motion from screen to screen just isn't as complete. The camera differences are amazing different, both in pictures and in video. Color in the pictures entranced by the SGS2 is just much crisper and deeper, especially with knavish...

Stingy perfect phone
My beginning foray into the smartphone world has my friends darned jealous. I have played around with other people's smartphones for years, and on no occasion saw one as close to perfect as this one is. Great battery existence, beautiful screen, wickedly fast processor (has set a maxisingle in quadrant benchmark), decent reception and call prominence, and a strong gps that locks on my indoor location settle in windowless rooms without the assistance of wireless networks! Wide the only thing that is missing is an LED notification stumble, but that is easily remedied with the Marketplace App "NoLED," which does the legerdemain nicely. I have also used the very buggy Epic 4G Have to do with on Sprint, and the form factor on this phone is superb -- not too big and classically candid aesthetics.

Bright review of the Epic 4g Touch
- Updated 10/19/11 -This is by far the unsurpassed phone I have ever used. My previous phone is a EVO 4g so luckily i got renewed after a year. This is my own familiar review based on experiences with my EVO 4g, my friends's ip4 and this Epic 4g set off.By far, Epic 4g touch wins by a mile.Initial impressions:1. Its burn as hell!!!!! it feels like you're holding a toy or a imitation phone (this may be good or bad depending on the user, it's really fit for me)2. The size is good enough for me but then again it depends on how big your hands are.3. The colors are quite very VERY vibrant, it really stands out from all angles.4. It is satiny smooth, SILKY SMOOTH. the OS has no lag at all, i tried a pinch to zoom assess for the ip4 and epic 4g touch and surprisingly, the epic 4g is so much bigger.5. Video camera is on par if not better with Ip4.6. Touchwiz has a lot of worthwhile functions and the widgets are very nice.7...

I dear one it!
Got this phone on the 16th. Here are a few things that I like and disrelish:likes:1. speed2. screen3. build (feels like a toy? are you kidding me?) this phone is so set alight in weight but don't confuse that as a poor build nobility. If you want a phone built like a tank and weighs like one by all means pick out a different phone. finish and fit are beautifully done!4. camera (8m + LED two shakes of a lamb's tail). The pictures are sharp and focused. I like using retro camera and insignificant photo. Even the front camera is awesome.5. Gingerbread is coolth and stable (no force close so far)6. Google integration. Demonstrable7. GOOD and corporate email integration. Flawless8. GPS and Google Map. works explicitly.9. audio (had to adjust the EQ to make it right)I'm rockin'10. wifi (works significant)11. print Screen!!!! yes!! (internal+power) finally!12. cold boot together... fast (this is handy when you change out the battery and power no hope up...

Genuinely blown away by this phone!
I got this phone the day it was released via overnight shipping and take been using it ever since (about a week now)- I enjoy been utterly impressed with the device! I switched from a fairly dated and rooted original Motorola Droid on Verizon and I couldn't be happier.Pros:-The Wonderful AMOLED (Active matrix organic light emitting diode), which is the newest good of display technology, absolutely blows any other pageant away in terms of contrast and color saturation. The 4.5'' diagonal protection on this beast is an absolute pleasure to look at, and it's more productive than an LCD to boot! I've read a lot of reviews whining close by the marginally lower resolution on this screen compared to qHD screens; what a fair game, this screen makes every other strategy around it look washed out and dated... cool serious- you'll completely forget about resolution the minute you power it up- and it has far superior response times!-Processor- underneath the dazzling screen lies a...

Best than the iPhone 4 ?
I don't notation many reviews for products that I buy, but this offshoot deserves some recognition. In a few words: It is amazing. I affection many things about this phone that I may set up to list the pros and cons...I think I will as a matter of fact do just that:ProsLarge screenThe screen, leisurely diagonally, is about 4.3". This is very at liberty. If you are used to a smaller screen like on the iPhone, get keen for some adaptation to this phone. The screen's size makes it easier to see things like part, pictures, etc. The only bad thing about this qualify is that when you compare it to the iPhone 4, you can identify that the Inspire does not have a "Retina Show" as Apple calls it. In other words, you can more well see pixels displayed on the Inspire than you can on the iPhone 4. Although, don't get me go to the bad. The Inspire's screen is very nice and sharp with right brightness settings overall, it just isn't as sharp as the iPhone 4's riddle. Also, the outer screen...

Great phone, good price
2 weeks into use, I've got to say I'm extraordinarily satisfied. This is a powerful phone for only $50-$100 at diverse retailers. What's nice:- Solid, high grade feel (and I actually like the fact that it has some Dialect heft).- Beautiful U.I. with the most recent HTC Substance update.- Maps is pre-cached, helps with steersmanship and in areas with bad reception (welcome to at&t!).- Skilled hardware, I have not had any issues with lag or freezing. Pulsation is the only app I've had to force-quit (twice). My advice to get the most out of this tool:- Upgrade your data plan to $25/month for 2GB. I went totally 140MB on the first day (downloading apps, customizing, and mounting up the device).- If you are having difficulty opening the battery door, get your fingernail rational underneath the edge of the battery cover near the tushie of the volume rocker and pull away from cognizance like you are trying to break it off (It pops-off rather than pay no heed-off like the...

In the beginning android phone- Love it!
Android:I am blown away by the all the abundant apps and features of the android in general. I have not felt this shocked by a electronic desire since I used the internet for the first time in 1995. It is not as idiot brace as apple's operating system though. I find myself spending entirely a bit of time getting used to where all the settings are located for several programs- there are just so many options for the entirety. This is fine for me since I consider myself rather tech savvy, but for some users, this may be mind-shattering. Although I love this phone, I am recommending my 50+ year old parents to buy the iphone because I about the iOS operating system is much easier to use.As for this phone:It is my beginning android phone and I really love this phone, but it has some areas with rooms for recuperation. HTC did include all the features one could want in a phone.-Battery survival is shorter than I would like in a phone- I charge it unexceptional. My ipad on...

unhurried for phone calls, texting so-so
I got this phone a few weeks ago because my smartphone had too sundry quirks and I have several months before I can upgrade. It works giant for phone calls. Answering and disconnecting calls is so easy to do, no sliding like with the android. But as far as texting it is not the finest. I like larger buttons and that is why I wanted a mind to out keyboard. But the buttons are too small to easily text. I also noticed that the shield is not as sensitive to touch as it should be. Trying to get something on the veil to move or work can be frustrating because it takes some deed to manipulate, move, whatever. The battery is not as bad as some reviewers pull someone's leg stated. It lasts a couple of days with stable use. It is NOT a smartphone so don't expect it to be. But, all-in-all, I give it a B overall.
