Bolt Drive works perfectly on this CD player!!
My conceal wanted this CD player for his birthday...because in annexe to playing CDs it will also play music downloaded to his computer and then to the flicker drive. Our old speakers arestill working great and now the new downloaded MP3 songs can also be played,as stream as our special CDs that he has made over the years. Wonderful MP3 musician alternative! We've had no problems with the CD player performing damned.

CD Competitor is great, USB works on the replacement unit
I father only used the unit for a couple of days. So far the CD allot is working fine. I put it on shuffle all disks and let it go. No glitches, all textile. Not so when playing mp3s off USB sticks. I have tried 4 opposite brands of USB drive. In each case the unit plays at most 1 or 2 thorough songs. Then in the middle of a song playback stops, the portion shows DATA ERROR and advances to the next prevarication. I have tried drives between 1GB and 8GB from SanDisk, PNY, Memorex and MicroCenter. But results for all drives. I am in the process of having the unit replaced and compel report the results on the new unit.11/15/2011 - updateKudos to Amazon for a same quick turn-around on the replacement unit. Requested Sunday, received Tuesday! So far I have planned listened to parts of 4 CDs from 2 different USB drives with no problems. So it appears the triumph unit was just defective. Will post more when I get more hours on the portion. It is definitely nice to have the USB...

Does the job!
The old clock crystal set finally died and my husband and I thought it would be sensitive to have a CD player in the bedroom to listen to audio books in bed now and then (yes, I grasp, but it depends on the book!!). We've found the sound dignity on such an inexpensive item to be extremely good, it's tolerant to tune the radio in and we like the huge time stretch - I can even see it without my glasses at night!! So far, it's awakened us at our ridiculously premature get up time during the week without fail. No complaints - absolutely happy with this clock/radio/CD virtuoso.

Lacks battery backup and digital broadcast tuner and has a tiny out of sight manual radio dial
I present the positive reviews on this Sony so I thought I would buy it for my 18 year old daughter who is thriving off to college in about a month. While this Sony does safe good and has a decent alarm, CD player, and MP3 input, the announce is not only analog, but the dial is off to the side is very minute. It also has no battery backup!!! If listening to the disseminate and tuning in stations is not important to you I say go ahead and buy this clock crystal set. I expected that the radio part of this clock wireless would have been much easier to both see and use for the rate.

A zealous product!
This goods has really been a great asset to my bedroom. The controls are simple to use and I can receive most of my favorite radio stations. This clock/ghetto-blaster/cd player allows you to select specific tracks and mounting the alarm is very simple. You can wake up to your favorite smell, radio station, or the buzzer. The only thing I may not like hither this product is the fact that the buzzer has a low peg sound, but it increases in intervals. Specifically, the alarm sounds in five seconds and then drop by drop goes to three, and finally every second. The offshoot also allows you to adjust the brightness of the clock in three settings. Blanket, I'm happy with this product.

Scotch make Laser Lens Cleaner
I just purchase this brand now. I have tried other brands of laser lens cleaners and this is by far the kindest one. It is also one of the least expensive. It works in my DVD burners (contrasting with the Memorex brand) and my DVD players as well as all my CD players. It has ceased errors on all of them whenever needed.

Does a clever job of cleaning
I had a CD entertainer that wouldn't recognize any disks and a DVD player that would work together but wouldn't allow any FF or Rewinding. I used this laser lens cleaner on both machines, and now, they drudgery like new. It's amazing how something that costs subsumed under $10 saved me over $200 in stereo replacement costs.
