10 Kicker Subwoofer?

I am buying my boyfriend a sub and amp for christmas but i definitely have no clue what i'm doing. The sub I bought is a Kicker TC10 -- 4 Ohm 10" Comp Vented Commerce Enclosure 05TC10.

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE! !

A kicker zx400.1 amp purpose work, it has 200 watts x 1 at 4 ohms that is more than plenty power to push that kicker sub, also you are going to requirement an amplifier wiring kit. I recommend you to get a 4 gauge wiring kit honest in case he wants to

Not the dual present coil model!
Elect be careful when purchasing this product, the account would lead you to believe this model has dual verbalize coils or "DVC" as stated in the title. This model is not a dual organ coil but rather the single voice coil beau id. Kicker does make a dual voice coil scale model in the Comp "VR" series for about twice what this beau id retails for. ($129.99). I've contacted Amazon.com about this and advised the changes to the championship to avoid further confusion.

Kicker Comps is the best bib way to start!
This subwoofer was the first place I have ever used. I have to say that this is an awesome sub. It's got a lot of bass for those who are first getting into subs. It has the power to wobbling the car, so enjoy it when you buy it!

Quite good!
This kicker comp 10" car sub is quality what you are paying for. It is working just fine for me, markedly because I am not maxing it out, so that way, it wont blow up. It is emend for a young driver's first sub, like me. The only preoccupation is since I have had it for a few months, I'm starting to think that I would like a bigger one. This sub can purely take up to 300 watts peak power. I am looking for one with around 1000 or so. For anybody that just wants acceptable base, but is not looking for the biggest base, then this sub is what you are looking for. But yes, you do get your bang for your buck.

Affecting!
This is a significant subwoofer. High quality design and sounds great. It's being powered by 200 watts rms @ 2ohms. (bridged the voice coils) I hold built a custom box to tuck into the side of the goods area behind the wheel well of my 4runner. No more than using one and it hits harder that two MTX subs I had in a differnt means using same amp at same ohms. Buy this one.

First-rate quality and very loud!
I got two of them and built a specially box (via kicker's recommended size). I have a 1000 watt amp hooked up to them and the box takes up the undamaged back seat of an extended cab toyota tacoma. They were pushing 142 decibels on the split at max volume and base which is basically unheard of for two 10s. If you deficiency to get the most out of them then it is best to build a specially box and to angle the speakers so that they converge on a distinguish point on the dash-thats how I got my 142 db. By far the best 10s you can buy-particularly for the price. (If you feel like spending more $ then the 10'' squares that kicker makes are entirely amazing as well.)

This woofer kicks dictatorial
This woofer kicks sedulous especially for its size. Kicker really showed off when they unconditional to manufacture this one. There are woofers that may be cured but they likely will not be able to beat this payment. Kicker surely got my buisness for now!!! Keep on hard drivin Kicker. I truly recommend this deal (especially for its size and behaviour) and i'm not even driving them hard yet.

How surprising this diminutive 10" is!
I recognize I wanted power in a small package when I bought this, and wow oh wow does it yield! This and a Sony 330w rms monoblock amp I got here on amazon also is a truely recoil ass system, space-efficent and reasonably priced!

First-class Subwoofer
This sub is merely the best subwoofer you can buy for the money. I only have one, and this fixation pounds harder than all of my friends who have two. Flatten paired up to an old 400 watt Kenwood 4-channel amp, it soothe kicks harder than every other sub I own heard within $100. Then there is the understandability. The bass lines are so crisp and clear with this sub that it makes any JL Audio sub, regardless of appraisal, sound like garbage. In short, I am very impressed with the dignity of this subwoofer. It is probably the best $80 I have everlastingly spent.

Enthusiastic speakers for small spaces
These speakers are champion and hit really hard. I use to have two 12" kicker compvr series speakers but I bought a mustang and there was no way I was thriving to still use them and have any sort of trunk wait. I put these speakers plus a custom sealed box in my foot-locker and wow. They hit just as hard as my cvr's if not harder.

Frustrated
The Kicker Subwoofer did not exertion when I redeived it and then didn't get a response from the distributor. So now I'm stuck with two rather expensive subwoofers that are sterile!! Would not deal with them ever again!

Pronounced sound!
Installed this sub with an 800w amp behind the secretly seat of my 2007 Tacoma. The sound is AMAZING, it hits cool and is so clean. I love it, and highly recommend it. I just went with the unwed 12" and the sound fills the cab beautifully.

THE First-rate SUBWOOFER FOR THE PRICE.......PERIOD!!!!
Kicker Comp subwoofers are BY FAR the greatest sub for the price out there. Some years back, I had two 12" 8-ohm Kicker Comps in a as a whole sealed box (2.0 cu. ft. per subwoofer) powered by a bridged Rockford Fosgate Zip 400s 2-channel amp in a 1996 Olds Cutlass Greatest 2 door. The two subwoofers were wired in parallel (4-ohms) to the amp. THE BASS WAS Phantasmal!!!!!! They pounded out really low bass notes! I harken to to bass CD's (Magic Mike, Bass Patrol, Techmaster P.E.B., Last Bass Traxx, etc.) and Hip-Hop and had NO problems setting off car alarms with legitimate 400 watts going to the pair of them!!!!!!! The sport to making Comps sound awesome is to put them in mid-point to large-sized boxes (sealed OR ported) and to NOT Beat THEM!!!!!!!!! 100 - 200 watts per subwoofer is ALL THATS NEEDED!!!!! If you maintain more power, then purchase the Kicker CompVR subwoofers because they can deal more power! If you follow this advice (and require the space) you will be VERY happy!!!! Plus a smaller wattage...

Suffering sometimes on hitting seriously deep bass, but peculiar for the price. FYI the wattage rating is 300 max and 150 rms for those of you who didn't skilled in because they didn't say in the details. BUY IT
