Deeply Impressed
When the run showed up I was very pleasantly surprised with the the carpeting and inclusive build quality. The terminals aren't the best, but vocation just fine for my application and would have been a simple job to swap out for something nicer if desired. What you see in the personification is what you get, nothing more and nothing less.After reading some of the comments thither air leaks, I went out and bought a tube of silicone and ran a thriving bead around every seam in the box, including nearly the terminal port and let it dry for 36 hours before installing the sub. No issues at all so far, and was certainly an lenient fix for some peace-of-mind. Sounds great with my Genus-R Alpine, matches the "optimal sealed" rating about perfectly for my 1243D. Also has a little metal trophy on the front in the bottom right that says "BBOX - Atrend". It looks sharp and gives the box a great look, I love it!

Practised for the price
If you are looking for something to remainder out and compliment your mains, then this box is superb. I just turned 37 and gone are the ol days of contemplative its cool to see how many car alarms I can set off with my system. I wanted unwavering but accurate bass. I have an eclectic taste in music, so one mo I'm thumping old school Too Short, the next I'm rolling to Yanni or Snatam Kaur's Mul Mantra I accept a Kenwood performance series loaded into this being pushed by a Boss 1500 W amp. The combo in this box is insanely noisy, but clear. No Air leaks as of yet. Box itself seems to be well built for what I paid. Side control panel looks cheap, but still not bad for what I paid. Kenwood calls for a 1.25 cubic foot sealed box for peerless sound, this one if I figured right is .8 cubic ft. Not in any way the less this box still sounds good while leaving a smaller foot issue.If you are looking for BOOM BOOM WHO'S YOUR DADDY NOW BASS, then get a bigger PORTED box. The box does a kind-hearted job and for the price you cant beat it. The same box is twice the expenditure in best buy, so buy it online and save about 50 bucks.

Wrong Measurements
I hand down say that the seller processed and shipped my order barest timely, and I am happy with that. The box is made from eulogistic quality material, and is nicely sealed. The problem is that I was preggers the box to offer 1.58cu.ft. of airspace per speaker based on the listed measurements, but the box I recieved was in truth 13x13x30 exactly. So the actual size is 1.17cu.ft. A differance I dream I might share. While it barely meets the requirements of my speakers it may not for you. Also as a note the more condensed box produces higher impact bass, but for those looking more for low bass protraction this is not the box.

Improve
I recently downsized from two 12"s to one, and needed a box that would conserve space. I bought this box based on price alone, entrancing a gamble on its quality. When it arrived I quickly took it out of its no more than there packaging and inspected the box, and was surprised on how well built this box was. Useless to say the first thing I did was install my memphis sub into the box and off it up to the amp. Im not going to lie and say that the one 12" in this box sounded advance than my two 12" in a ported box but it does a fine job, and now I require space in the back of my suv again.

Admissible box
I've had this box for nearby a month now and still no problems, The seal is tight and my bass sounds pure thumping in the box. Id recommend it! cant beat the price either

Gamester than expected..
Box is constructed very obviously and does not leak any air at all. Works perfectly for my 1000 watt sub woofer and the terminals on the in dire straits and wires were easy to connect. This box was a through fit in the trunk of my Acura TL at its 15" box height.

Oops I bought the illegitimate box
This box is intended for a specimen S Alpine 12. (or similar spec speaker) I procure a type R and the air volume of this box is too small for it and the port tuning is peculiar. It did not sound very good with a type R. I inclination give it a thumbs up for the quality construction. I wish I could put on a more favorable review. I am not saying this box is bad. It was designed for a strain S and I'm sure it would sound great loaded with one judging by the high body quality and specs.(EDIT 2 WEEKS LATER)The Alpine Species R recommends a 1.9 cubic ft. (ported) box. This is only 1.3. The generous range of bass was not heard with my 2010 Model R. I replaced it with this...[...]More revenge oneself on, linear output with less power-all bass notes rebuke through evenly.Much happier

12" x 12" x 12" is one qubic foot you Idio......'s the one who wrote .2 is an authoritative ...........alpine R series calls for 1.00min to 2.00max cubic feet!!!!! this box certainly fits the criteria -------- all effulgent minds out there that can't set up your system DON'T censure your ignorance on the BOX even if you count the basket and magnet dicplacement you are silence way above 2 cubic feet of space!!!!!!square counting walls @ 2 inches --- total number volume in square inches is 4320 that is 2.5 feet then neck if type Alpine R displacement and port volume was .5 cubic feet (wich is NOT)you would yet have 2.0 feet of volume ---- fury i might add is max volume recommended for this perticular manipulate.having said that this box is definately proper for RRRRR series and many moreif you dont comprehend what you are talking about then say nothing at all because you apear to fool neuron deficiency in the good old brain bucket(or it is possible that you have been...

Prodigious Box
This is a solid box for the price for sure, becuase with the shared assembly room your subs still have power as if they were hitting against each other, but without the demands it cuases on the subs! I bought it not knowing what to anticipate because of the fact that the only other boxes ive at any point owned were sealed and they cause some moment low beats but lack highs but also cause alot of stress on the subs and i love loud systems so as a result ive blown 3sets of subs because of them so i bought new subs and a new amp awhile sponsor and i bought this with them and they are Non-Standard real loud! lol!! the only bad thing is it doesnt come with wires for the exclusive of the box (from the box connections to the subs) but that was an easy fix!! but it peacefulness is a great box!!!!

Lacks low bass
i got this box to renew two sealed boxes.... i tried this out because ive not ever had a vented box before... i must say its loud... yet deficit low bass and the vibrating hits that will construct your heart pound.. and sound quality....

Extraordinary!!!
I put 2 Sony Xplods XSL126P5 in this box and they unscathed amazing!! surprisingly.. It is not the greatest box, but its definitely great for the premium! Wood is very high quality, so the box will stay for a quite a while. Glue is not very stiff.. but it should in the end. Carpet is awesome, looks good in any environment. Terminal cups are ok. They are not bad, they do their job, but they could be ameliorate. They will not snap off right away like mentioned in an other weigh here, but you feel like they will every on occasion you touch them. It does smell strange, but not too inartistically. All boxes smell in their own way. Its normal. As of sound calibre, the box hits all frequencies nicely, including the low ones. It does get a pygmy sloppy below 35hz, but just a little. If you have a sedan, like I do, you require not even notice it. I guess the tuning frequency for it is roughly 60hz, but its hard to tell.. slams good on all notes. The box doesn't bring about tight bass at all...
