THE Defeat SUBWOOFER FOR THE PRICE.......PERIOD!!!!
Kicker Comp subwoofers are BY FAR the A- sub for the price out there. Some years back, I had two 12" 8-ohm Kicker Comps in a big sealed box (2.0 cu. ft. per subwoofer) powered by a bridged Rockford Fosgate Plug 400s 2-channel amp in a 1996 Olds Cutlass Highest 2 door. The two subwoofers were wired in parallel (4-ohms) to the amp. THE BASS WAS Make-believe!!!!!! They pounded out really low bass notes! I do as one is told to bass CD's (Magic Mike, Bass Patrol, Techmaster P.E.B., Extreme Bass Traxx, etc.) and Hip-Hop and had NO problems setting off car alarms with legitimate 400 watts going to the pair of them!!!!!!! The swindle to making Comps sound awesome is to put them in road to large-sized boxes (sealed OR ported) and to NOT Prevail THEM!!!!!!!!! 100 - 200 watts per subwoofer is ALL THATS NEEDED!!!!! If you bear more power, then purchase the Kicker CompVR subwoofers because they can operate more power! If you follow this advice (and be struck by the space) you will be VERY happy!!!! Shtuk sometimes on hitting seriously deep bass, but preposterous for the price. FYI the wattage rating is 300 max and 150 rms for those of you who didn't be acquainted with because they didn't say in the details. BUY IT

believable sub for the money
I've had loads of sub in the past, just got rid of a pair of 12" comp vr's because it rattled entire lot too bad. I got this sub in a bandpass box I built for a comp be and it sounds fair good, tried a smaller sealed box before the bandpass box and it didn't do so hot. Two things that I would dub cons are, the fact that the surround is phone, And how slender and cheap feeling the cone is. But on a budget its a great spieler.

Hooked on Hifonics? Upon me in!!!
I just now replaced an old Memphis Power Reference subwoofer with this one. If you don't recollect about Memphis, look them up, they arrange quality subs that hit hard and sound fess up. Well this Hifonics HFX12D4 sounds almost as adept and handles more power. It's only getting 250 Watts RMS, it hits bloody hard, and it's not broken in yet. I can't wait to hear how hard it hits after asunder-in, and then how much harder it will hit when I can quit it the 400 Watts it needs. I have it in a generic 1.25 Cu Ft sealed box, it's being powered by a Directed 250d amplifier, and I acquire it set to hit up to around 125Hz and it handles the high notes in some measure well (I need to improve my mid-bass section so that I don't essential to rely on the sub for the higher bass notes). A more than mind-blowing replacement for the old Memphis PR sub that I was running. Hifonics was the claim choice. After I play with 400W RMS, we'll see if I dearth another...

Recommended these to a buddy!
Triumph of all, these speakers have dual voice coils. This means that there are 2 contrary and positive terminals. Both terminals must be employed, or you will blow the subs. Second, I'd like to say that these subs fit as a fiddle amazing. I own 2 kicker CVR's, and these blow them away in attribute and volume. Great Buy!

Hifonics HFX 12D4
Okay Im gonna do a official review for those of you that really are interested in this but are skeptical. I touch these were goin to be crap... I put 1 on 400rms and it took it equitable fine, hits the lows like a monster, i bear owned KICKER CVRS 12's and 15's. Hits lawful as good as both of them. One problem... when it hits the expensive bass it sounds SO BAD. It might be the sealed box for now but omg it is a horrible strong, the lows and mids of bass cant sound mastery tho! If this sub was 100 i would still buy it. good sub, im putting 4 in my Durango.Protection ME... BUY IT, WELL WORTH THE MONEY. Sounds by a hair's breadth like cvrs, better then type r's in my judgement

I bought the 12" 1262w dual put into words coil with zero expectations. Jus thought i'd try it due to the toll. After wiring both sides,i was absolutely blown away. I prepare been messing with car audio equipment for years and organize never heard a single 12 sound like this.

I didnt buy these i in use accustomed to to work at frys electronics and these subs hit harshly. we had the l5 and l7 or course the infinity are not as loud (pretty close nevertheless), but these subs are tough. You know people disclose up the volume trying to blow it since its the stores but they wont, we had a kicker amp 1000w hooked up. When people unearth it up it cuts off cause the amp gets hot but wait a few mins and there shapely to go. I think the cones are made of some type of metal. Matter the woofer was all dented up but still bumpin hard. The bass produced by these sub are fervent just have a good amp and your good to go.

Feedback: Infinity 1262W, 12 inch
Prime subwoofers and amp - very pleased. Still learning engagement SVC vs DVC (single/dual voice coil), wiring for diff ohms, etc...I bought two of these subwoofers and a Lanzar VIBE242 2000 Watts 2 Means Mosfet Amplifier. The subs sound really agreeable. I've only got one Sub hooked up now, and it pounds the mess out of my Mazda 3 so much - I may not methodical hook the other one up. But I'll test it out for sure :)For the price, you pretension beat what I bought as a combo. If you are new to amps/woofers, do a lot of investigating on calculations of airspace for your "specific" subwoofer you buy, SVC vs DVC, diff ohms and wiring diagrams. YouTube has some OK champion stuff.Overall - very pleased with these subs, would counsel.

Accurate for such an insane low price
I've loved this sub always since I got it out of the box. Here are some things to remember when using this. 1: Don't underneath power this thing, I'd say at least 300w rms, but would subscribe to 400 or 500w. I have mine at 450w and it sounds incredible with no distorting at all. 2: Use the correct size pen or it won't sound good. I had mine in a small ported box at in all directions 1.25 cubic feet.. and I only thought it sounded skilled. Ported enclosure with this sub should be at least 2 cu. ft. I went and got a gentle dual ported box at Car Toys, and all I can say is dear lord.. I went and soundproofed my stalk because it felt like the trunk would killed disintegrate away from my car haha. So if you have a box that is the offset size, and the right power going into it, I would absolutely say to go for it and buy this thing. It hits great, and gets all the lows and smooth highs. And for $30, are you kidding me? When I ordered rake through earlier in the year it was like $45. At Car Toys here it's selling for once again $100.. This is...

For the price its unsurpassable, the sound is clear, loud, and has a great range. Derive can play at 14 Hz. They also look dazzling. Plus they seem to be very durable, I eat a Kenwood kac 1000 Watt amp on them and they father never bottomed out or seized up. Best subs I've for ever owened.

Impressed!
My 16 year old has been itching to get subs in his car and he recently earned some on Easy Street so we sat down and started planning. With the limited budget we had a in the red time trying to find something that would drove a punch. We quickly found that we couldn't provide the hi-end subs and amps and decided to take a chance on these subs and the Pyle 2200 amp. I skim all of the reviews, both good and bad, and we ordered. We went down to the village Best Buy and got a deal on a close-out dual 12" box that was ported for $30. Since these subs bear dual voice coils I wired them in parity to get 2 ohm input and hooked them up. I also ordered the Boss instal kit and it worked out very well. We turned it on and these things thump! I adjusted the input honest to match the head unit and I am very happy with the seem of this system. Pyle 12" slaps
I bought two of these and mounted them into a sealed box. WOW. They ring superb. Topped it off with the pyle pla-2210 1800 watt amp and I'm bumping down the track. The real test came when my buddy behind me said I was making his mirrors kill to my tunes. Inexpensive but very good for the price. I'd underwrite getting a head unit such as the Kenwood Excelon kdc-x592 which has an adjustable subwoofer straight-shooting setting. This works well because your not cranking up the bass on your component speakers too which can paramount to some nasty distortion. Also, a capacitor may be life-or-death to save your electrical system (1 farad for every 500 watts). Extravagant setup but well worth it in the end.

Non-customary use
I was looking to dream a semi-portable system that I could use anywhere, car, accommodate, beach, you name it. But i didn't want to spend a ton of hard cash on it as there was a high chance i'd get it wet or blow it out since this is the before all system i've put together. I went with a pyle component method, this sub and a kenwood amp. I originally powered it with a chintzy power supply, but it blew out in a few month so now i have a nicer one. The sub has been awesome. It easily over powers the speakers i have to go with it. I had a minute trouble figuring out the DVC stuff and telling if it made any alteration, but think i got it down now. The real test was taking it on the littoral for spring break. I thought the sub wouldn't be able to battle with all the noise and sand, but i was wrong. It shakes the careen and can be heard from very far away. I have 2 boston acoustic 2.1 systems in my ill fame and though they produce nice clean lows, for parties, this sub shakes the as a rule build. for 35$ you cant go...
