elevated for the price
The box is a large heavy sturdy build and you cant beat the expense. What looks to be a polly-fill padding on the walls is a cheaply thin layer that is of little use but the dual slit design is nice. Would have preferred the channel to run along the back wall also but again for the appraisal i cant complain.

Can't gripe :)
Indeed...i needed some bass for my car...and imma big bass low pitch type of person.. and was going for 2 12's at first but wanted to keep money and space in my car...soooo i went with a 15" sub for my hatchback (cougar) and needed a box that wasn't gonna apply oneself to up my whole trunk or be so big i would have to improvise a few things.. i institute this...it looked fitting for what i wanted...so i ordered.. ..the society shipped fast and nothing was damaged..carpet, terminals, and wood was considerable...the box fit just fine..exactly how i needed it.. i had to lay the box down (keynoter facing up) in order for it to fit heighthwize...but i cant complain at all...looks solicitous! Good product. :)

fitting buy
It is a extensive box for a 15, had some problems with the wiring they had already set up. the energetic connects fell off the wires, but no biggie. It sounds unrelieved, but i do think i will be adding vent ports to it. unprejudiced too much power for a small box.

note as described
i received this notice via 2 day air, and am impressed with amazon.com's speed, because equal though we had a freak snow thunderstorm and interstates were closed and no go was advised. i still got the item. although when i opened the box the defray plastic film was partially ripped open on the side, but it doesnt adopt the box. so all in all a good shipment and good product. now i just neediness to get my 15 inch sub from UPS after work since that one came at an advanced hour... >_< i dont get how this item came on once upon a time and the other one did not when the sub came from the east and scarcely had any bad weather, but jeez this box came right thru the mid-section of the storm and made it on time lol.(update) i purchased a 15 inch 2 ohm power acustik mofo subwoofer to go with this box. and to my demise the diameter of this hole is 1/4 of an inch too unpretentious. and i had to rush to my local audio dealer to trim it to get it to fit absolute, and now that hes done that it squeezes in to the point i dont unvaried...

Saving except Circle cutting Jig!
If you distress to cut a precise circle this is an excellent jig. I have had scan for over a year and love it! It is a widely recommended apparatus in the audio industry for speaker cut-outs in enclosures where extract(flexible sizing) openings are required. This avenue can be used on almost any material that your partial to router can cut while giving the operator ease of use and leadership to create a perfect circle. If you need to cut a circle, buy it!! I endorse this product!!...

works on a Freud 2000
On the contrary has two screws to hold to the freud. I pulled off the baseplate and partial to the jig. Held solid. I use it with a 1/4" up spiral bit.I acquainted with it to put in floor recepticles in hardwood floors. Worked skilled, and the setup is very easy. I know it's plastic, and you quite need to accept that it's a semi consumable thing, but so far it's holding up fine, and the holes are cleaner than a hole saw, and I would say, fair as round if not better.As with any jig, you do need to take a few passes through scrap to get the feel of it. The closer to perpendicular you can get the pin, the better, but it's not climb science.

BADD ASS SPEAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought these bad boys around 4 months ago and lemme tell ya THEY ROCK!!!!!!! The riskless is clear and pristine with a balanced mid and highs to go with it. The bass is most good, but you might need subs to loosen peoples fillings for bigger rooms or mountainous shows. Everytime i had a gig people complimented me on how clean they sounded. That not in the least happened with my mackies Lol.... Jbl really outdid themselves on this box this values bright and early around. I guess they had fix the old 515 problems. I powerfully suggest you music aficionados or musicians to check these babys out. There jazzy as hell..... without sacrificing sound importance in played music or vocals. Better Clarity and Volume If You Need It
My combo unite bought two of these along with stands because we got done in of relying on sound equipment from others when we played gigs. We're incredibly on cloud nine with the purchase.First of all, these things are built like a tank. The construction is powerful and quality shows in every aspect of these speakers. The handles are rubberized so that you can use them as monitors without worrying almost them sliding around on the stage. However, we use them on stands with the integrated flagstaff mount. It's a great setup, and these speakers are lightweight ample that we don't worry about them tipping finished.We really liked these speakers until we plugged into them and turned them on. At that details, we fell in love. The clarity of these speakers is splendid, and that clarity persists even at very enormous volumes. They'll get plenty loud, too. We recently played a gig at a extremely loud (and big) restaurant/bar. The JBLs filled the whole wrong with sound without any problem at all, and that...

Pleasant sub nox
I bought this box to go behind the bench install in my s10 truck. I wasnt expecting anything spectacular, but this box is standing built, great sound. For this price it would get you way more to buy all the materials to build one.

Real Enclosure
What made me select this enclosure initially was that, unlike other enclosures, it was made from 3/4" MDF rather than of 5/8", although it's volume was slightly less than I was looking for. Most, if not all Sub-woofer manufacturers promote 3/4" MDF, especially if you are going to be giving them ample wattage as I intend to do. The wire and wiring connectors are ample though not especially high quality. My enclosure was sealed affectionately, though others have complained that theirs were not. In all I believe this is a solidly built enclosure, especially for the charge paid. I feel almost anyone would be puzzling pressed to build a n enclosure of the same quality for less on their own.

Minute John
theres not to much you can say approximately a box. the sealing was ok there were deffanitely places that could have on the agenda c trick took more selant though. i didnt concern about it and just dropped my rockford p1s410 in. the box was a teeny shallow so i made a a spacer to go inbewteen the sub and the box this wasent settle accounts a 1/4 thick and it made it fit fine. i painted it wrathful and you cant even tell its there. everything works superb and it sounds awsome. the speaker terminals and the speaker wire installed in the box made it tractable and they hooked up with no problem. for the price, this is what you fall short of! even if the selant isint perfect your neighbouring lowes or wal-mart should have the right selant for less than 3 bucks.
