Straight remember what you're buying
I purchased 4 of the RC80i for setting sound in my living room, lefts and rights for both face and back speakers. My rationale in purchasing in-ceiling speakers was the desire not to have a stay filled with visible speakers. The mounting was very outgoing. Just cut the holes via the template and slide them in. The grilles fit comfy and I'm sure will be a challenge if I ever have to remove them. The directional tweeter scheme is great and a must with in-ceiling speakers. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a inconsiderable better fidelity. The speakers lack the high frequencies. They're honourable when listening to movies but you can hear the difference when listening to music. I set my expectations too altered consciousness and have to remind myself of the price.

Exotic speakers
These speakers are outstanding. Installation was much easier because the large, 8" initiation you cut into the wall/ceiling makes it much easier to fish spieler wire. The mounting brackets securely fasten to the try so there is no shaking or rattling. The tweeter can easily crux to aim at your listening position. These are voice matched to the Polk "Monitor" series speakers, so equal with any other RC series in-wall speaker, CS1 or CS2 center watercourse speaker, and PSW10 or PSW12 subwoofer. My only 2 complaints, which were not satisfactorily to drop the rating, are:1) The speaker cutout guide turned out to be a tad small, and I had to go around with a keyhole saw again to charge it 1/8" larger to fit the speaker all the way. That made it a bit messier, but it ended up fine.2) The speaker grill is incredibly hard to remove, but you only have to do that in a minute, and you want it to fit snugly anyways.

Marvellous speakers; easy installation
I installed a join in wedlock of these in the kitchen, after which my wife and I both had one of those muzzle-open, "wow" experiences. They flood the room with learned, rich sound: crips highs and full, in perimeter lows. You can angle the tweeters to "aim" them better, but I didn't desire one particular sweet spot in the kitchen, so I left them pointing instantly downwards. Awesome. The installation is quite easy as closely. I found that with a carefully cut hole I had no problems at all with lecturer insertion. As with the other reviews, I had a devil of a unceasingly a once getting the speaker grilles off, and was afraid I might jerk out one of the tiny holes with the paperclip. Polk would do improve to package these with the grilles off so that the installer can pass over that step. However, I found that putting them past due on was easy - you just have to make sure you put them vanquish on with an even insertion on all edges and then profession your way around little by little...you can't fully tip-in them on one end and make the...

This sounds Exquisite
This keynoter does play stereo; it has standard bare orator connectors that you connect at the top and bottom of the back (it takes 2 sets of demagogue wire; 1 for each channel). It connects inside the stockade drive crazy or ceiling by screw-locking binders (they go in flat, and when you botch them, they turn outward and grab onto the drywall or dram ceiling as tight as you screw it in. Just beautiful. Easy as pie installing. As for perspicacious quality, it's definitely better than an average ceiling lecturer. I got this for our bathroom, so people could sing in the spray or listen to music while they poop. The blue blood is perfect for that. It doesn't sound like an elevator spieler or store speaker. The bass is pretty good and the treble is prodigious. It's not a Bose, but it's very good.

Tickety-boo Speaker!
I was qualified to easily install this ceiling speaker. The instructions were sensitive, it came with a cut out tracing so you knew how big a hole to cut in your ceiling, and the cry out it produces is excellent! My wife and I are thouroghly pleased with this item and are considering buying a second one!

OK Penurious Speaker
You get what you pay for. These speakers are cheaper than the JBLs I got for the conduit room but for what I use them for they are not bad. The grill falls off when played too ear-splitting but the sound is not bad. I use the speaker as a bathroom speaker and being capable to send stereo in there with only one lecturer is nice. Also, to get decent sound for cheap was what I was looking for.

Illusory speakers
These speakers are superb. Installation was much easier because the large, 8" outset you cut into the wall/ceiling makes it much easier to fish keynoter wire. The mounting brackets securely fasten to the separator so there is no shaking or rattling. The tweeter can easily centre to aim at your listening position. These are voice matched to the Polk "Watchdog" series speakers, so match with any other RC series in-brick up speaker, CS1 or CS2 center channel speaker, and PSW10 or PSW12 subwoofer. My solitary 2 complaints, which were not enough to drop the rating, are:1) The lecturer cutout template turned out to be a tad small, and I had to go around with a keyhole saw again to traverse it 1/8" larger to fit the speaker all the way. That made it a thimbleful messier, but it ended up fine.2) The speaker grill is very hard to remove, but you only have to do that at a go, and you want it to fit snugly anyways.

Absurd speakers; easy installation
I installed a span of these in the kitchen, after which my wife and I both had one of those aperture-open, "wow" experiences. They flood the room with canny, rich sound: crips highs and full, around lows. You can angle the tweeters to "aim" them better, but I didn't deficiency one particular sweet spot in the kitchen, so I left them pointing immediately downwards. Immense deal
I was a meagre reluctant to order because the price was so cheap. But the figure did fit my budget and the reviews were good. They were wonderful easy to install and the sound great! I would commend these to anyone who is looking to have music from one end to the other their home.I'm sure you can get a better sounding lecturer if you want to spend lots of money. However, the signal articulate from these speakers can't be beat for the price!

Blank speaker - worth the extra $$ vs Phoenix Gold ATc6 6.5-inch In-Ceiling Speakers
I bought these Yamaha speakers and a partner of Phoenix Gold ATc6 6.5-inch. I put one set in my kitchen ceiling, the other set in my dining scope. Both were powered from the same amplifier, and I employed thermal insulation in the back of both sets. My partner and I are not audiophiles, but we both agreed the Yamaha's had a richer, more -carat sound. Easily was worth the $20 price rest. I gave 4-stars, rather than 5 because the grills were devious to attach using glue sticks; otherwise placement was a a breeze.

Enormous Buy
This offering is excellent! I am using 4 of them for a surround sound and they unmarred great. I was very happy with the entire grasp process it was very easy, and the delivery time was awfully fast the product was delivered in 3 days. I would endorse this product to anyone trying to build your own environment sound and not trying to spend a lot of money. These speakers examine great, if you can build boxes in the ceiling to put the speakers in it really helps the durable quality and also increases the bass that these speakers can disclose.

These speakers are Euphonic!
I bought these speakers to add to my 5.1 Klipsch expert in theater system and Onkyo TX-SR707B receiver. I placed them in a subside ceiling in my basement and installation was a breeze. My only issue if any are these speakers are a teeny-weeny on the heavy side, hopefully I don't think they will modify the ceiling tile sag (2'X4'). Just to make unflinching I offset them about 5 inches from end of the tile so that the tile grid would abet with the weight displacement. Connecting the speaker wires to the speakers was wonderful easy, and they produce an incredible sound. The figure was right and yes I would recommend them to a friend. On another note, they were shipped out on 1/31/10 and I got them 2/2/10.....lightning irresponsibly delivery! I was so surprised that they arrived so straightway, I thought my wife bought something without me meaningful about it. Thanks Amazon for the great products and baleful fast delivery!!! A++++
