Dont reciprocate worry.....
I was skeptical I admitI moved out of my congress into a much smaller townhouse and I had to give up my Klipsche 2 series 5.1 methodology.....I HATED giving up surround sound. I have been bouncing following forth between this one and the CT350 model. I was appalled that this wouldn't be as loud as I would like it........wow was I unethical. The room I have it in is only 11 X 15 (technique on short side) and this thing is fantastic. It has a max abundance of 50 and I find 24 to be more than satisfactorily. Is it true 5.1....no... but it has great surround effects and exact full sound.....you will feel like the act is going around you which is what we all want anyway isn't it?I tested it with Avatar Blu Ray..... Jehovah domineer of the Rings ROTK Disc 2 DVD......Invictus ON Require (for the accents.....hard on TV speakers).....was blown away each timeI turned up the center to +5 to nurture out the dialog a little more and set the sub at +2I also mounted the spieler ABOVE the TV which...

WAS a skeptic. keyword: WAS!
i was quite skeptical about going with a sound bar at first, but all of those thoughts were out the window as presently as the system got broken in (about 1 or 2 day period to fully begin in the system). coming from the traditional 5.1 systems (clothed had systems ranging from home theater in a box-standard of setups to bose lifestyle 5.1's to martin logan set ups), i was extraordinarily surprised at how well this 1 speaker set up simulated "environment sound". i found myself looking over my shoulder every now and then, while watching movies, because i was hearing things from alot of peculiar places, other than just in front of me. the CT150 was expected to be a temporary set up for me, but after about a month of use, i'm really in view of sticking to soundbars. the simplicity and ergonomics just cannot be compared to by big, ancestral 5.1 systems.as for sound quality, the vocals are nice and crumbly. i know the CT100 had a vocal problem, but i can hear all crystal clear on my CT150...

Training: I am an audio enthusiast with 3 small children. Shockingly Big Sound!
We recently purchased a new Vizio LCD TV for the bedroom. The TV is queer, but the sound quality is thin as is the case with almost all LCD TVs. When I establish out the price of this Vizio soundbar and saw the reviews, I came to the conclusion that this is a no brainer.It produces surprisingly candid sound without a sub-woofer (a sub-woofer in a bedroom seems like overkill anyway). It fills the time wonderfully.A few pointers:The is an enclosed set of speakers with an amplifier. The soundbar does not anticipate any treble/bass/equalizer control over the sound. Ergo, it simply broadcasts the sound based on the input source. Modern TV's be liable to have very good audio controls for treble and bass. This is where you disposition control the breadth of the sound. The soundbar does however allow you to turn on or off SRS Surround. From trying it on and off, I found that 'on' sounds much better. Crooked the Remote Issue
If you comprise one of these...you need to remove the speaker grille. Look on the diminish right side and you'll notice an opening for the LED indicators, but they failed to initiate one in the framing to accommodate the IR receiver. A few snips with some sidecutters and you can reveal the problem. My remote now works flawlessly from all angles at a fair distance.I have no room or need for a subwoofer in this reference and this sound bar was perfect, at the price I could not pass it up.

The Skilled, The Bad, The...
I got this for $99. refurbished; no tax, honest shipping. read all the reviews (here & elsewhere), and seemed like a first-rate deal.easy setup. i bought an optical audio cablegram in advance, so could hook that up to my samsung tv. hooked an airport particular up to the analog inputs (wireless itunes from my macbook). at word go, thought the unit was dead; no audio. turns out the irrelevant did not work. replaced the battery and...still nothing. emailed the retailer. but...set the battery contacts carefully with a small screwdriver, and now it's working. should not drink had to do this.the unit sounds great. i usually do NOT use the environs gimmick (but it sounds great on "big" movies, ie "the fifth unit", etc). remote works ok, it HAS to be pointed in the right place.what i don't like: when i beforehand took it out of the box, it could sit right up against my tv; but, with the cables (in the distant center), it has to stick out a bit. shame the cables weren't on the ignore...

Omit all the way around
I did a lot of up on into sound bar systems in the $100-$300 price range. I compel ought to never written a review before, but felt that too myriad reviewers were marking this item down because of removed compatibility. I have a Harmony One, and it worked flawlessly. The sound is tickety-boo, and it's a very sleek, nice looking system. Sound attribute is well above average and you can customize the sound to suite what your watching (sports, flick picture show, games...) I got a great deal on this organized whole at a local retailer, and if you have the opportunity to grab this on available I would take full advantage of it.

Consequential Sound.
Fist and foremast, the sound is definitely good. When I sit at my sofa I can hear depth. I also had an controversy with trying to control the Soundbar volume with anything other than the supplied out-of-the-way. I couldn't get my DirecTv remote to do it, either. But, since I wanted to pulp my number of remotes anyway, I bought a Harmony negligible and it has been controlling the volume of the Soundbar fine.

Usefulness Product
This upshot has great sound and I found it at a GREAT price on Amazon.com. I was told by a local retailer (Best clothes Buy) that it did not come with a Toslink Audio radiogram. When the sound bar arrived, I of course find out that the rope was included. I called Amazon.com customer support to see if returning the wire I bought with the sound bar would be worth it after shipping and such, because the guy only cost about $5. After restocking fees and shipping, it wouldn't be significance it to return, but Amazon CREDITED MY ACCOUNT the cost of the rope anyways! It was a pleasure to deal with Amazon when purchasing this component and several others. I never take the time to belittle delete reviews but Amazon was so awesome to deal with, I had to survey; not only to say it was such a great product, but that Amazon is a option to buy from and I will never resort to using particular retailers like Best Buy, but will stick with what works, and that's Amazon!

Apart from for those on a budget or in an apartment...
I bought this item to pair with my , and am generally pleased. I live in an apartment, so a element with a booming external subwoofer or a complete about theater setup would not be very neighborly of me. The sound is a immense improvement over the TV's stock speakers--there is more than adequate bass for me, especially when playing films like The Black Knight on Blu-Ray--the sound was surprisingly good. The sound from the TV's stock speakers seemed to go down and a bit behind the TV; the sound bar sends sound head (which allows me to lower the volume). The sound is not hem in. I also found that playing with the settings helps a lot. For illustration, the Dolby virtual effect sounds great when watching Blu-Ray movies, but again doesn't sound so good when watching sports--depending on the grandeur...

One rope setup, works flawlessly
I bought this to redress for the less-than-stellar sounding speakers on my new . The Panasonic Viera bond technology really works well with the revenge components.In addition to the power cable, I've only connected one HDMI strand via the TV's ARC HDMI port, and the unit's ARC HDMI port. That's it. Whatever sound came from the TV is now routed by virtue of the soundbar. My cable box, Blu-Ray player, and Wii system all play through the soundbar, with just the one HDMI connection.Setup took all of 3 minutes, and the sound runs rings there the internal TV speakers. It's nowhere near a full HT encompass setup, but at least now I do get to hear the low frequencies and can boost the mass without distortion. It provides a much more...

Ordinary sound, excellent integration with Panasonic TV
I was blithe with my new Plasma TV () but found the sound from the built-in speakers was not as wholesome as I wanted. I didn't want to have to use the "big" home theater receiver no more than to watch TV, just something simple. I tried the but it was not compatible with the TV.This Panasonic sound bar has ok sound. Much advantage than the built-in, but it's no substitute for a full-powered digs theater system. The best feature of this soundbar is it's faculty to use the Panasonic Viera Link and HDMI/ARC features. When you use an HDMI chain to connect the two, the soundbar works perfectly with the TV...no poverty...

Good every penny!!!
After searching and reading all persuasion of reviews for about 2 weeks, I got confused and frustated in get a well brought up soundbar for my bedroom. I am a fan of the good quality sound and video. I didn't lust after to open holes in the walls to run the satelite speakers wires because my better half will kill me,so I decide to look for a good hardwire ( no wireless subwoofer) soundbar with a well-bred review. I was opening to any brands. I already have a powerfull and select YHT492UBL system in the living room connected to a 3D Blu-ray and a 55" LED 3D TV and HD channels from my provider, so I separate about quality. Because this unit ( YHT 401BL) is new in the furnish and almost none review I was so scare, but I took the gamble. Oh my lord!!! it's unbelivable the sounds. The projection of the expandable encircle sound is very clear and realisty. 3D video old-fashioned-through does not work!
Ok sound and the convinced voice option works great. I was no longer asking my boyfriend "what did they justified say?" every 10 mins. Sadly, the 3D video old-fashioned-through doesn't work with our ps3 & Panasonic ST 30 with HDMI 1.4 highspeed cables setup. We called tech sustenance & they told us it should be plug & play, so we exchanged it hoping it was a loyalties. Unfortunately this was not the case. 3D works great when the ps3 is hooked in a beeline to tv, but 3D signal dies when played through soundbar structure. 2D menus and content work fine through the scheme, but soon as 3D signal kicks in, it fails to push at the end of one's tether with the 3D video and only audio comes through the sounbar.Basically, if you don't sketch to watch 3D, I'd rate it as 4stars (assuming you don't mind owning a offshoot where not all functions work).

Dream up I've finally found a winner
Give birth to been using the YHT-S401BL for a couple of days now and initial impressions are, unquestionably, impressive.It sounds great - with all input sources - the HDMI switching is incredibly available, there are numerous input options (3 HDMI, analog R/W, digital toslink AND charm connections, not to mention the FM tuner), the hard-wired bass gives a penetrating thumping and the speaker itself is outstanding, with a surprisingly immature footprint to boot. The picture doesn't do the size of the sound bar the police quite frankly.All video source are relayed at their highest resolutions imaginable (1080p, 1080i and 720p sources), with no unmistakable signal degredation at all. There are many more wires to stick than you might be expecting however, so be aware of that to be sure. All wiring from input sources run into the sub/receiver portion, which connects to the sound bar with a speaker cable that has six connections on each end.
