Speaker Wire?
Would anyone satisfy specify why, If i am running 8 guage power wire to my amp under the swear in it needs to be this large when right after the amp there is 10 feet of smaller speaker wire? Whould anyone recognize me whether or not the impedence on speaker

upstanding speaker cable
I am no pro but I can say that I can not acknowledge the difference between this speaker cable and the more priceless stuff. I've been doing this sort of fetish for many years and always used the more high-priced cables but a friend, who is in the business, told me recently that copper wire is copper wire, no puzzle what company you buy it from and as long as the wire is shielded aptly, why pay more? Made sense to me so I tried it and guess what? He was righteous! I don't have test devices to check OHM loss and all that materials, only my ear and my ear tells me I can't tell the difference at any volume or kind. Never too old to learn something new!

Absolutely an affordable speaker wire that does not boast outrageous claims of being something that it isn't. This 16 AWG 2-conductor stranded copper speaker wire by Mediabridge is realize for everyday speaker runs. The length of run should be determined by the impedance or Ohms of the speaker. After reading owing to a few expert opinions, I have discovered that as a dismiss of thumb these are the maximum lengths of cable that should be utilized when using 16 AWG wire. Matchless speaker wire.
This speaker wire is least nice. The copper conductor is thick and the shielding is righteous the right thickness. The wire is very flexible and easy to industry with. Features a blue line on one side so you can portray the conductors apart. Great value for money and would beyond compare to much more expensive wire. I've seen more priceless wire with less copper and more shielding... this boloney is a good balance, a very true 16 criterion. I highly recommend this product.

Model 16GA stranded speaker wire at a good price. Marked with a filthy line on one wire so you can keep your blacks and reds contemporary to the same place, if that matters to you.Goes from and Onkyo TRN609 to Force RC-Micro speakers, if that matters to anyone. Couldn't determine the difference between this wire and 14GA "Higher Quality" (more priceless) wire that I had temporarily used before this came.

Sizeable price but...
Unequal to many other users, my complaint with this wire is not in regards to its thickness. In low-down, I used 12 gauge wire strippers to strip the wire and it worked hardly fine (even cut a few strands of wire in the process). My grouse is that you may or may not get a full, uncut, 100 foot term of wire. I ordered two spools for speaker installation in my "man cave;" one spool was comprised of a 100 foot completely of one wire while the other spool was disappointingly comprised of a 35 foot extent of wire and a separate longer length. Need less to say this was damned disappointing to me because I was already running that spool of wire along the ceiling when it rightful suddenly ended with the rest of the 2/3 of the spool not partial to. I was lucky that I didn't need a full 100, or sober-sided 50, foot length to wire my speakers. So anyway, client beware. The fully intact spool was great; courteous wire, one strand easily identified with a red stripe, and extensible.

Sold and purchased from Amazon.com. I bought this 100 ft spool of speaker wire from Amazon in Dec. 2009 and possess just opened it up for use. The wire and jacket is good enough, question is that the spool and jacket is labeled 12 awg but the wire is literally 14 awg. Clearly this is not an accident or error by the industrialist or distributor. I've see that this is not an uncommon practice quantity less reputable online sources but I am very dissappointed that Amazon did not accomplish what they were selling and pull this from their invetory, or over persuaded it as mislabeled 14 awg.

Not 12 Magnitude Wire !!!
I am surprised that Amazon nevertheless lists this as 12 gauge wire.If you include the pinchbeck insulation it may be close to 12 gauge !!I have sent my spool overdue renege for a refund and purchased real 12 gauge wire at leastI expectancy it is the correct gauge.

its speaker wire not one's way around
to the guy that claims he can break up it by pulling on itI would ask, with what?I just adapted to a good bit of it to install speakers in my pick up truck and its brawny well insulated wire. I can not imagine you "broke" it by pulling on it with your hands perchance your car bumper.cant beat the pricing my limited how to store wanted 50 cents a foot for wire that was not as fresh.
