Greatly Good Buy
I bought this docking billet for use while deployed to Iraq and I hijacked my wife's Amazon account to do it (astute, right?). It is surprisingly light and slim, outstandingly considering the fullness, crispness, and volume of the sound that it produces. I bear not been disappointed, particularly at this price import.Features that I really like:1. Dual voltage, which is keen for overseas travel.2. Comes with power adapter.3. AUX-IN ability has been very useful for plugging in to my laptop for movies.4. They did away with the iPod inserts, and the plan ingeniously allows whatever iPod you insert to rest against a move in reverse stop, so that you aren't stressing the connector when you force on the iPod to control it.5. Remote is simple on features but works bare well even when not pointed directly at the module.Features that could still be improved:1. The purloin case is more like a dust cover. It is made from the unaltered material those...

Extremely good sound, two gripes
Sound out of the box and plugged in the unit produced very good reliable. At first I thought the kickstand was flimsy and was not supporting the component well. Another review here helped dissolve into this by pointing out that it needs to be pushed in harder than one may recollect, and then it really does lock in.Appearance/designI feel that Logitech iPod speaker systems generally want some elegance, but S715i looks a lot better than the quondam attempts. Those searching for a more elegant plan may wish to look at Altec Lansing products, but in my perception Logitech beats Altec in sound quality. The trayless doc is a ethical new feature for Logitech.Price-to-performanceThe unit could be enduring been priced higher and would still lure attention of many - it is really inexpensive for what it does.Canvass qualityThe box produces full and clean sound with exciting for the size bass. Logitech "has got it going on" in the base extent. On...

Choice full range sound
I've had this ideal a few days, having waited months after reading admiration reviews from preview electronic shows. It was good the wait. I love a wide range of music, and am picky everywhere sound quality. This speaker system is indubitably remarkable. I've listened to James Taylor, Luciano Pavarotti, Mozart's Requiem, Dirt Wind and Fire, REM, among others and all of these survey wonderful, with crisp highs, resonant theme notes, and a warmth in the mid-range that I've not ever heard from any pocket-sized player, including CD players, much less from compressed digital formats. It sounds happier than my Bose Wave Radio/CD player, which I subsidize in my office. My son, a musician, walked downstairs and just looked at the shamed player in astonishment, thinking I had been playing our greatest sound system (built in speakers throughout the house). I betrothed this little speaker system so much, that I've already ordered a bruised one. It is smaller than I expected, which is a plus. You could smoothly slip it into...

Spectacular item.....I made it even better!!
I've been looking for a beneficent (3.5mm headphone jack) compact speaker combination for quite a while now. I have a ipod, iphone, and Kindle Intensity that I save music on. I'm on the go alot and just wanted something unspoilt for my mobile office and my hotel room that I feel to live in most of the time. I was not sure of going with a distinct speaker or trying a dual system. I did my research on both and after reading scads customer reviews on different units I decided to get TWO of these. They tough great on their own, but I made them SOO much crap-shooter by purchasing a 3.5mm stereo to dual 3.5mm mono splittter and two 1.5 foot 3.5mm extensions. by doing this it solves both my problems... 1: that using solitary one speaker you dont get true stereo sound. 2: that the chord it comes with is to quick for my needs. I used some heatshrink tubing and melted it all through the connections on the extensions to the right/left ends of the splitter which holds the connections hermetically sealed now. any 3.5mm extensions will work, just...

Also for mp3's
Haven't had extended, but wanted to clear up description. I couldn't find any differences except for the 2.5 adapter on the Altec Lansing website, and the IM227. In this characterization, it didn't say it worked for mp3 also. I hooked it up and it sounds actual good. It is pretty loud. It says to turn off remarkably bass/equalizer. At first I turned it off, but switching cast off and forth to headphones, I turned the eq back on and turned the aggregate down a little. I haven't cranked it past 3/4, but sounds major. Played Aerosmith, Skynyrd, Jackyl, Stones and destroyed only, they all sound great to me. Stones had some piano that sounded godly too.It comes with batteries also, I am running rechargeables. Experience a marker and draw a line on bottom, before fascinating it off, so you can line up easier, to put it back on. It comes in IMT227 packaging and instructions, but does say IM227 on fundamentally.I really like this speaker, and will primarily use in garage, patio, bedroom, kitchen, and car trips. For me it...

Absurd little speaker, especially for the price!
You cannot go go to the bad purchasing this speaker. For the price, it's got the best dive you could ever expect. However, I must hint at that it won't work with my wife's AT&T F160 Chamber Phone by ZTE. I have NO idea why, so I won't blame the speaker. It could be the phone - who knows? The phone has the unaltered physical standard 3.5mm stereo output chest, and stereo headphones work with it, so whatever. This keynoter works with our iPods, both 2G and 4G models. It's also suppositious to work with iPod nano, classic, various generations, iPhones, laptops, music-enabled phones, and MP3 players with a 3.5mm stereo jack. Doubtlessly, it's combining both channels into one. There is existing bass to be heard, which is quite surprising for such a petty unit. Ignore the dimensional...

X-Mini II Capsule Speaker (Black)

Customer Reviews

Cool sound quality, poor build quality. I've owned 3, and all 3 are paralysed.
I'm unswerving this review, as with all other negative reviews, is effective to get a "this was not helpful" rating. Look, I get it.. the X-Mini II is an Amazing product and nobody should to talk bad about it, Tory? At least hear me out first.. because I've been using these for scarcely a year and have owned 3 of them. I think that earns me the fair to an honest negative review. And remember, most people study products shortly after they buy them.. I've in fact spent a lot of time using them.I absolutely loved reservoir when I first got it. I showed it to lots of friends and all my coworkers, myriad of which have since bought their own. It's an bar little speaker. The sound quality is amazing for such a cheap package.. the build quality feels very upstanding. Sadly, it's what's inside that counts.. and what's lining is junk. I've owned 3 of these speakers and all 3 are now dead. Here's the series of events that led to this bad re-examination:X-Mini #1 - Bought my first one...

Outstanding sound from this SMALL speaker!

Finest small speaker I've found
I bought this and the iHome rechargeable mini-keynoter at the same time. The iHome mini-speaker is much louder, but the din quality of the X-Mini II is better for music, at least in my conception. You get more of the high and low tones with the X-Mini II, and I am surprised that it does not procure a tinny sound. The iHome speaker is good for movies or if you indigence a loud but small speaker for parties. The X-Mini II is marginally larger than the iHome speaker, but not much. I suggest the X-Mini II for listening to music, and it works really kind-heartedly with my netbook or with an mp3 player.

40% cured than the iM-207
I bought an iM-207 and an iM-237 at the just the same time, curious to see what the difference was.The 207 is inartistically 25% smaller and comes with a 1/8 to 3/32 stereo adapter, is designed to purpose sitting with the speaker pointing upward or hand down sit at a slight angle back on its side. I think it is bucks well spent- compared to the same amount I puke 3 years ago on one of those fold-up cube type dual speakers. In point of agreement to that fold-up cube, I think the sound is like 3 times crap-shooter: quality-wise and volume-wise. The iM-207 lacks an LED that lets you grasp if the power is switched on, so you might drain the batteries out if you neglect doing to turn it off after you unplug your player element. It turns on and off by rotating the outer chrome ring-not a tranquil switch at all compared to a rocker, slider or push button. Now on to the iM-237: a bit more stylish than its predecessor the iM-207 and at a price that is 130% more. It comes with a swish padded and zippered carrying case with a mini...

Pure happy with it
I bought one of these to frisk music from my iPhone during a vacation. I toughened it outdoors by the swimming pool for about a week. Went inclusive of only one set of batteries (AAA). My friends and I were uniformly impressed with the sound that came out of this scarcely speaker; it's surprisingly loud and clear.I figured when I bought it that it was basically a distract-away. Not so. It's a good little speaker that fits the nib.

Cyber Acoustics Portable Digital Docking Speaker for iPod (Black)

Cyber Acoustics
$49.99
$35.34

Customer Reviews

Peerless sound and convenience, but no remote switch.
[Update: In plea to some questions, this stereo has a conventional audio input, so you can very likely use it with sound sources other than an iPod. As someone has observed, the Cyber Acoustic web call out claims the Nano 3g can't be charged by the CA-421 dock. Au contraire! When using electrical power and the included doc adapter, I had no difficulty charging a Nano 3g with this CA-421 jetty. In fact, contrary to the company's description, it did the same with a Venerable and the Touch (I don't own an iPhone, though.) Since penmanship the following, I've "gone through" other speakers, including the most well-liked rechargeable Altec Lansing and Logitech, both of which balk at playing the newest Push. This inexpensive iRhythms model actually sounds competitive and continues to be the one portable I can depend on (no doubt due to the well-constructed adapters and the demand for using regular AA alkalines). As for the outdoors sum total limitation, even the very pricey, much lauded Tivoli iPal...

Looks eulogistic, sounds great, does all that is required
I was looking for something tuppence to listen to podcasts while I was working in the garage. This fetish plays loudly with no apparent distortion. Precise well designed with digital volume curb. Recharged my iTouch in less than an hour. At the confer on it has adapters for all iPods regardless of what the descriptions may say. Had I paid twice as much I would be suffering with still regarded it as a bargain.

Fab narrow-minded speakers
These speakers set up great sound for their size. If you're looking to devote this amount on speakers, then they are great. I attend to dance music when I'm travelling and the sound is esteemed when it's played reasonably loud. My only (skimpy) complaint is that I have a white iPod and only wrathful speakers are available. But apart from that, I'm really exhilarated with these.

Speakal Announces Availability of the iExecutive Audio System

This much I do tolerate, people love their iPods, and if they don't acquire a hi-fi system an iPod speaker might look like the outwit way to go. At $599 (MSRP) Monitor Audio's i-Deck 200 is priced at the more elevated end of the market, and competes with the... Granted, the receiver and speakers would imitate up more space and wouldn't look nearly as chilliness as a big-ticket iPod speaker, but the hi-fi would, dollar for dollar, healthy a lot better. For most buyers of high-end iPod speakers the answer is yes, because for them it's more all over style than sound quality. It seems more than a mean strange to me, but iPod speakers are really popular. The really sturdy, die-formation dock connector accepts any iPod or iPhone without the dire for adapters or inserts, and in the rear you'll find a 3. When you original plug in the i-Deck 200 and turn it on you'll hear a excluding series of low-frequency tones, which the speaker uses to reconcile oneself to the sound's tonal balance for free space, brick up, or corner positioning. For $600...
