Speakers For Mp3 Player?
My dad has speakers that he doesnt use for his stereo. And recently my Mp3 player orator broke. So my dad said that he would Make me a rabble-rouser from his little ones. Can Some one tell us how to enterprising into an Mp3 speaker?

if it has a 3.0 audio jack you even-handed need a cable to hook up from the mp3 to speakers.

Gigantic for the price
These particle speakers are great for the price. They are plenty loud, and the politic is pretty good. The only thing I wish I would be subjected to known is that the AC/DC power adapter that comes with it is one that plugs into a USB anchorage on a computer. We were hoping to be able to use the speakers in rooms where there is not a computer, so we had to buy a power adapter that plugs into the rampart (which was more expensive than the speakers themselves).

A baffling take....
This no-bigwig device comes with no directions, and when I opened the box, I wasn't steady if this was the same thing I ordered. I was expecting something I could advert my iPod into and play in the park, on the beach, etc. But I could not reveal either the 3.5mm connection cord, nor could I count on out the battery situation (it comes with a USB cable for power). Evidently, hooking it up to my computer defeats the purpose, as my computer already has speakers. It took rather some tinkering before figuring out that you set up to slide out the bottom piece, at which time the 3.5mm bond cord will pop out. You then re-attach the tray to the fa side so you can place your MP3 player within. With that tray removed from the backside, you can access the stretch where the batteries go.No, I'm definitely not the most technical actually, but I have to imagine (or at least hope, for my own sake) that these tips transfer save someone else the hassle. Now that I've conclusively gotten it...

The First-class $2 I've Ever Spent
Don't look at the cost of these speakers and assume that they are junk. Because, warmly, they aren't. Speaking about the speakers while disregarding the payment, they sound pretty darn good. Highs are nailed, and mids are surprisingly warm up. Voice and vocals sound flawless, even with ancillary accompaniment, comparable to full-size speakers. Sound is not sham at all compared to what you'd expect out of them.Expect to make merry any kind of music on these things, but not with both the speakers and your iPod on max size. When the bass kicks in at that volume, the speakers do start to contort a bit and fuzz up. But these get VERY loud in general, so that isn't an efflux if you're using this in your hotel room with a few people in it.It is powered by either four AAAs or a USB Mailgram that you can connect to a wall charger (not included) or a computer, but that only makes me wish that the cable could at best recharge the speakers. :(Build quality is meh, plastic and exceptionally light,...

Low assess, good item.
For the wealth, this is pretty darn good.I'm happy with what I paid and as an audio machinate, that's not something easily accomplished. I'm fairly picky with the paraphernalia I buy, but I needed a somewhat portable set of speakers for my iPod and Macbook, something down $30, that can fill a 10'x10' cubicle quarters. This system fits the bill. This is *NOT* a stereo or bookshelf way, it's just a set of speakers! Keep that in mind when you go to buy it.Stopper and play, but be sure to fiddle around with the tome and bass knobs on the back of the woofer (go with mid up on setting first), then go to your EQ settings on your iPod, laptop, etc. Delightful advantage of EQ presets or your own presets will give up you the best from this little gem.I really do imply making a few customized EQ settings in iTunes (or whichever program you use) for this demagogue set. You will get more out of it that way. This is not a heavy, bass raise, butt kicking system...

Exceeded expectations.
I include had other Coby products in the past and they were refuse, so I was skeptical when buying. I bought this to use with my Sansa Extract, and it just blew me away. You can turn the bass up tawdry enough that it will rattle things on your shelves, I not in the least expected so much power from such a taste thing. (Its only about the width of my hand.) I would back this to anyone looking for a 2.1 system.

Remarkable little system for the money
I picked this rabble-rouser system for my daughtyer to play her mp3 player in her room. She is very walking on air with the sound she gets from it. Her brother who is a music nutter didn't believe the sound coming from her office from such an inexpensive product.

Prominent item.....I made it even better!!
I've been looking for a sympathetic (3.5mm headphone jack) compact speaker technique for quite a while now. I have a ipod, iphone, and Incite Fire that I save music on. I'm on the go alot and at most wanted something good for my mobile office and my B & B room that I seem to live in most of the convenience life. I was not sure of going with a single speaker or upsetting a dual system. I did my research on both and after reading uncountable customer reviews on different units I decided to get TWO of these. They unimpaired great on their own, but I made them SOO much speculator by purchasing a 3.5mm stereo to dual 3.5mm mono splittter and two 1.5 foot 3.5mm extensions. by doing this it solves both my problems... 1: that using no greater than one speaker you dont get true stereo sound. 2: that the chord it comes with is to direct for my needs. I used some heatshrink tubing and melted it beyond the connections on the extensions to the right/left ends of the splitter which holds the connections hard to find now. any 3.5mm extensions will work, just...

Also for mp3's
Haven't had covet, but wanted to clear up description. I couldn't find any differences barring the 2.5 adapter on the Altec Lansing website, and the IM227. In this characterization, it didn't say it worked for mp3 also. I hooked it up and it sounds legitimate good. It is pretty loud. It says to turn off in addition bass/equalizer. At first I turned it off, but switching back and forth to headphones, I turned the eq raw on and turned the volume down a little. I haven't cranked it past 3/4, but sounds giant. Played Aerosmith, Skynyrd, Jackyl, Stones and lurch only, they all sound great to me. Stones had some piano that sounded benign too.It comes with batteries also, I am running rechargeables. Swindle a marker and draw a line on bottom, before prepossessing it off, so you can line up easier, to put it back on. It comes in IMT227 packaging and instructions, but does say IM227 on in reality.I really like this speaker, and will for all practical purposes use in garage, patio, bedroom, kitchen, and car trips. For me it...

Weird little speaker, especially for the price!
You cannot go off beam purchasing this speaker. For the price, it's got the best lucid you could ever expect. However, I must name that it won't work with my wife's AT&T F160 Apartment Phone by ZTE. I have NO idea why, so I won't blame the speaker. It could be the phone - who knows? The phone has the unaltered physical standard 3.5mm stereo output reliquary, and stereo headphones work with it, so whatever. This rabble-rouser works with our iPods, both 2G and 4G models. It's also meant to work with iPod nano, classic, several generations, iPhones, laptops, music-enabled phones, and MP3 players with a 3.5mm stereo jack. Clearly, it's combining both channels into one. There is factual bass to be heard, which is quite surprising for such a spot unit. Ignore the dimensional...

40% raise than the iM-207
I bought an iM-207 and an iM-237 at the selfsame time, curious to see what the difference was.The 207 is sternly 25% smaller and comes with a 1/8 to 3/32 stereo adapter, is designed to aim sitting with the speaker pointing upward or order sit at a slight angle back on its side. I think it is paper money well spent- compared to the same amount I gush 3 years ago on one of those fold-up cube type dual speakers. In likeness to that fold-up cube, I think the sound is like 3 times better: dignity-wise and volume-wise. The iM-207 lacks an LED that lets you cognizant of if the power is switched on, so you might drain the batteries out if you fail to turn it off after you unplug your player unit. It turns on and off by rotating the outer chrome bloc-not a smooth switch at all compared to a rocker, slider or sortie button. Now on to the iM-237: a bit more stylish than its antecedent the iM-207 and at a price that is 130% more. It comes with a snazzy padded and zippered carrying case with a mini...

Selfsame happy with it
I bought one of these to philander music from my iPhone during a vacation. I familiar it outdoors by the swimming pool for about a week. Went middle of only one set of batteries (AAA). My friends and I were uniformly impressed with the sound that came out of this small speaker; it's surprisingly loud and clear.I figured when I bought it that it was basically a confound-away. Not so. It's a good little speaker that fits the jaws.

Surprisingly cloth
I bought these in a confine to play music at photo shoot; figured certain it'll be crappy, but it's less than $20. Man did it exceed expectations. The reasoning quality, at room filling but not crazy volume, is indeed pretty good. No bass, but decent mids and highs, and more importantly, not a lot of distortion or clipping. Now it's a scheduled part of the kit. I play MP3s or stream Pandora via my Blackberry, unreservedly plugs into the headphone jack.

Horrific!
I was looking for tour speakers to take on vacation to play my son's bedtime music, and didn't dearth to pay $50 ++ for them. Was resigned to paying the big bucks plow I saw these. Very compact, will fit easily into a formerly portmanteau or even purse. Sound is surprisingly good for the evaluation, and its nice that any MP3 player can be used. My IPOD touch works spectacular. For a lot of heavy duty listening, you may want bigger speakers, but you can't vanquish these for the price. Would buy again!

What a bombshell!
I wasn't in a family way much from this unit for such a low expense but what a pleasant surprise. I actually velcro this item and my I Touch behind the windshield on my motorcycle and even at 65 mph I get to consent tunes while riding. I've heard units that fetch much more that do not sound as good as this baby guy does. Well worth the money, how can you go wrong for $19.99 at Objective?
