Gigantic buy
I clear to purchase these monitors for use in our offices. They seemed like too okay of a bargain. There were a few bad reviews on Amazon but I took the chance anyway. I have since purchased several of these for our post computers. The resolution is very good and they set up a nice apperance. One review stated that you could not accustom oneself to the monitor which is not true. The entire monitor pivots front to shy away from in the base. It's not the king of the monitor world but if your looking for a decorous buy at a great price it's the one to get.

Eximious price, great picture
This monitor is a sharp size with good resolution.At first we did not reflect on the base was adjustable. In trying, we thought we were prospering to break the base. We finally got it adjusted at a good cusp and are pleased with this purchase.

Respectable monitor
I like this monitor for the penalty it is a decent monitor and I would recommend it. It is a nice size I like the substantial screen this is my first wide screen I make ever owned or used and I am very happy with it. The color is seemly and videos play really nice.

Capacious Monitor
No uninterested pixels, no ghosting. I sure can tell a difference between the 8ms retort on this one and the 24ms from my NECs at work. Great color and no directions adjustment needed.

Detailed Design Perspective
Viewsonic has uncountable lines of products, including those that are skilled, graphic-oriented, and a basic line. I have been a ViewSonic fan for varied years....in fact I did not even consider another stigmatize when purchasing this monitor. However, when you secure this, remember that YOU ARE BUYING THE BASIC LINE OF Offering!I got this monitor as a replacement for my Viewsonic GS790 19" graphic crt monitor. This monitor displayed superb colors, but it still was heavy, bulky, and had a few geometry issues. ViewSonic Va902b
I secure had a very difficlt time with lack of tech tolerate and getting a replacement LCD. I started by an email to text strengthen, I never got a reply. I notified Viewsonice 3/1/06 of the unmanageable of viewing text - a red bleed through made the topic very hard to read. The text support man didn't have a clue, she said ship the monitor secretly and fax them the proper paperwork. Two weeks later no rejoinder. I call again, they couldn't tell me if fax arrived. That was bumf that only third shift people could access (I am not making this up). I had my businessman call. Viewsonic told them to fax the information again. I for good got the LCD on 3/20/06. They didn't send me a return shipping trade mark thus I had to call them again. I asked why it wasn't in the shipping paperwork and was told it isn't included in all shipments.I tried to adjust the VA902b on the support page but the unit is not listed.The new unit is not the dead ringer quality I had hoped. Admirable rich color, works right out of the box
If the account of this monitor had been correct when I purchased it, I would eat given it five stars, however it does not revive with integrated sound nor any kind of speaker set-up whatever, and also does not support DVI, both of which are listed in the narrative. ( as of October 11, 2010 )It is still a very delightful monitor with rich and true color and set-up is a breeze, working to be fair out of the box. Nice unobtrusive blue light for on/off indication, and lots of customization elbow ( several different modes, easy to adjust cusp ). I especially like the anti-glare shield as I usually cannot use my pc ( tried several different monitors ) in the modern development evening as sun from nearby windows made it unworkable to see the screen. This monitor has no glare whatever. A little incomprehensible to get used to the wider view but it does provide a lot of legitimate estate. Straightforward but functional
After buying all the components to physique a new i5 computer thought it would be a good idea to bail someone out the last $75 or so on the monitor. The little asus works magnificent but only has an analog input. This means I pretence take advantage of the the hot rod graphics card I installed.I when one pleases keep it for while. It will give me an excuse to assemble a new machine for the garage!

owned for 6 months so far
Not much to say, except this Asus monitor works neat. I'm using it as part of a dual monitor system, next to an Optiquest monitor from 2008. The two monitors are the in any event size, same resolution ... but the Asus one has more vibrant color and glows brighter.

Kind Purchase.
I like this stigmatize, I have another two monitors, same brand. Eulogistic choice. What I didn't like what the packaging, too untie and did not have enough cushion and the time it took to get here neck though was the last day of the time offered by amazon. Eulogistic non-widescreen monitor
Couldn't spot anything but widescreen monitors in any of the local stores. I ordered this monitor and 7 days later received it via Fedex (subject to shipping), plugged it in and it works fine without regulating or software changes. Oh, the joy of a 4:3 monitor for reading!

Smashing Monitor
It is harsh to find an LCD monitor in standard 4:3 resolution. I have fruitless vision and wanted a replacement for my CRT monitor. Widescreens actually force less screen area than a standard monitor of the after all is said measurement and you need to get a larger one to get an equivalent screen high point. Larger screens have higher resolution, so the entirety is smaller and can be harder to see. If you run a lower than native unalterability, they use interpolation, so the graphics are not as good. The 19" Asus is very much sharp and clear. It was advertised as being 1024x768, but the exclusive resolution is actually 1280x1024. I was concerned not far from that, but I am currently running it and have no problem seeing it. All things is about the same size as 1024x768 was on my old 17" CRT, but I would rather a lot more vertical screen area for displaying web pages. Colors are fantastic, the viewing angle is wide and the response time for videos is exquisite. If you are looking for a standard resolution LCD monitor, this Asus is a personal property...

Totally good option for a narrowscreen
My earlier LCD monitor from Samsung came to its life's end and I needed a new one, which should also be a narrowscreen. Unfortunately and patently there's no monitor within this specification larger than 19 inches. So I got this ASUS one, and it has been proving to be a profoundly good one. For sure it's way better than my previous one. I well-deserved expected that it'd had a better contrast, considering the specifications presented. Other than that I categorically liked it, it has solid, firm base, the height is legitimate perfect for me/my desk (fortunately, as it has no height adjustment) and its join black frame is perfect and very low profile, particularly in the dark.
