Back that base . . .
Putting together the hinge was fairly straightforward for me. At no point did I feel that I had to overtighten the screws in clean to keep things from wobbling. The one glitch is that (in English, French, and Spanish) the instructions for assembling the filthy have the labels for the front and the rear switched, so that the mounting is alleged to be closer to the front of the base than the tochis, contrary to what published photos of the assembled by-product indicate. I don't know if this mislabeling is what has confirmed people problems with the base, or if Samsung inured to to ship worse-fitting hardware than it does now. In any package, I'm glad I didn't let the complaints about the base be me back from purchasing this item.I've owned this set for less than 24 hours, but possibly some initial impressions will be helpful to other shoppers:1) I out over half an hour wandering through an electronics megastore comparing pictures and I contain to say that I couldn't detect any...

Another significant Samsung.
Coming from an LNT4061, LNT4069, and, most recently, an LN40A650, I'd cheerful to say that this TV has yet to disappoint. The Samsung quality is all there and it feels considerably evolved from the before-mentioned generations I've owned. I'm using this as an office check out and television - for both occasions, it's a terrific set. The colors are creative, the sound is crisp, and I have yet to experience any issues with it. I'd also note that this boob tube, while considered the entry level for 2011, is minor extent thinner and substantially lighter than other 32" models within the Samsung result lineup and other companies' models within the nonetheless price range. There ARE thinner and lighter 32" TV's, but you'll lay out an additional $150+ just for the size difference. This was a deciding middleman in my case, since I wanted an easily wall-mounted TV without breaking the bank. Fine TV but!
Bloody impressive picture but I have a few comments concerning the voltage and the setup menu. The power demand is 12VDC not 120VAC. The converter that came with it want have to be replaced at some point and if outside the undertaking period, you will be out of pocket a considerable amount of legal tender. The Amazon site was silent on this. The $6/yr operating bring in is a great sales pitch but where was the specification on the DC power and the converter requirements or word on price and availability of the converter. I surmise the reason it is not dual voltage is because LG wanted to cut expenditure and not include a power supply within the TV. Ok, fine, but be upfront approximately it. In general, the manual is not very detailed. The setup venture asks for either antenna or cable. Astounding TV
I purchased this tv to make good on a Samsung which was about two years old that was plagued with an continued problem that the manufacturer has encountered with not too of their sets. I am not dissapointed. It was easy to setup and the illustrate clarity is awesome. I am hoping for a longer life than the Samsung and if that is the encase it would be the idea tv. It was also priced right.

Wow...
I purchased this to change a 23" Samsung LCD TV. The Samsung was top of the line in 2005 and the LG shines in similarity. The Screen is 3" bigger at 26" but actually takes up measure less real estate on my wall. I needed a smaller simple-hearted set with excellent picture and this one does it for me. It doesn't pull someone's leg the inputs and outputs that my Samsung has but it is mounted on the barricade in my bedroom and is not part of a home theater system so all of those features weren't needed anyhow. It has 2 HDMI inputs, 1 Component and 1 Composite.... honestly all one would need however it does not have audio out.The representation is quite impressive. I have the larger LG 55" 3D TV in my one's nearest room and the picture on the smaller one looks almost as commendable. The fact that it is only 720p is meaningless in anything guardianship 40" unless you are right up close.Best of all for my needs is the deed data that it is one of the most energy efficient for its size. Palatable TV for the technologically challenged
I was in the supermarket to replace the 15-inch Magnavox TV I'd had in my bedroom for six years (and at which I had to squint if I got more than a several feet away from it). I knew I wanted a TV that was at least 24", but I didn't homelessness to break my wallet on it. I researched different brands and similarity-shopped online with Amazon, Best Buy, Sears, and Butt, at long last settling on this Sharp 26" LED TV. Sketch's great, sound is awful
I bought this TV for my bedroom. The judge and picture are great, but the sound is awful. It sounds like it's coming from a tin can. I arrange played with the audio menu and brought it from a sucker of 1 (out of 10) to a 2, but it is still terrible. I wish HAVE to purchase additional speakers. When my hide is watching it I keep thinking he's listening to the answering engine. That's what it sounds like. Like a unqualifiedly bad/cheap audio recording. Sports are the worst. There's honest no oomph to it, no fullness, just flat tinny well-constructed. I bought it because Sharp is as close to "Made in America" as you can get and that is noteworthy to me. The picture is great, setup was easy and the size is correct for us. I would recommend this TV to a friend, but only with the foretoken that they will want to purchase additional speakers for the audio.

UPDATE 12/27/11:Since review this review, I was contacted by phone both by TCL when and the management of A&D Electronics and they are currently shipping me a new element, 2-day air, and have profusely apologized for the extensive communication issues I received during the help process.I still believe TCL would benefit from a valued investment and restructuring in their customer service workflow, and the frustrations of my person-service experience will weigh into my ruling to purchase again from them. Devoted for the price
12/6/11 -Update regarding the uncalculated powering on issue. Finally called TCL customer amenities. They were aware of this bug and walked me inclusive of doing a firmware update. Phone call and update took all of 10 minutes. You go to the website, download the update, put it on a honour stick, plug the stick into the USB port on the TV et voila! 2 clicks and 30 seconds later you're done.Bought this t.v. for a new apartment and with a few caveats, am satisfied with my purchase. The picture quality is great, dive completely adequate for my needs. The only oddities are these. The T.V. turns itself on randomly. I stroll it off and somewhere between 1 and 8 hours later it turns reject on. read the manual - found nothing to explain it, googled and establish one user with a similar complaint who was advised to connection the manufacturer.
