32 Inch Lcd Tv?

I am planning to buy a 32 inch samsung lcd tv to use with both my desktop computer and ps3. The nethermost reaches of my desk is 2 feet. Would that be enough range for my eyes to not burn? If not do I have to buy a super big desk? =~(

For a 32" HDTV, sit 6-7 feet away for viewing soothe. For screen size viewing, see: http://www.plasmadepot.com/reviews/tvscr eensize.html
For you desk top, I put a screen no larger than 26"

Well-thought-of TV. Inputs not as described
So far the trait of the tv is probably about 4 stars. Pretty good exact likeness and sound for my girlfriends light tv use with DVDs & Roku Box.I equitable want to let people know that the image shown of the inputs on the uphold is not correct at all! Even the specifications are kind of misleading. The AV in and Component in are both on shared ports. This makes it so one can enjoy only one Component device OR one AV device plugged in at any inclined time. This doesn't make any difference to my use, hardly a heads up to people who might need both.

LG 32-inch TV Con
Provides a proper picture and sound. I have had TV in use only for 4 days so far. I like the doctrine that it has variable economy settings. It works beat for me at medium. Since I have an electrical use meter, I desire be checking the electrical use of this TV. The only problem I had was assembling the ignoble. None of my dozen or so Phillips screwdrivers fit the screw vanguard without too much slack or being able to equal turn the screws. I called the customer service, and they advised that it was a metric bollocks up. I went to Home Depot and the clerk pointed out to me that one of their screwdriver sets had a Phillips driver that fit this bolt. I tested it in the store on one of the screws, and it fit perfectly. Bottomline was I had to advantage two more screwdrivers to add to my already vast collection of tools at a rate of about $10. So if anyone has a similar problem, they can foothold a DeWalt 2 PC./P. Demolition Drivers set. Set contains one Phillips and one flathead screwdriver. I prepare a...

Obviously balanced and well worth it
I did appreciable research before buying this TV. I had a wish beadroll of features that the wife and I had come up with and constraints on my budget and the physical size of the TV due to existing while within our entertainment center which was of the pre wide interview era. While we had to compromise on several of our wish list features ( Internet connectivity to access things like Pandora most clearly) the items we did not get seemed to be pretty much standard across the 32" evaluate selection and apparently only available in the region of 42" and over.I had occasion to visit LG's website to attempt to determine info that was not shown in the Amazon explanation and was very pleased with the support LG offers even-tempered in just looking at their TV pre-buy. I had a real time colloquy with one of their CSRs who was able to get me the info I was looking for at once and make several alternate suggestions. The longest piece of my set up time was assembling the base...

Our oldest flat-screen TV
This is our elementary flat-screen TV, and we bought it because LG was recommended to us by a junior man in a Big Box Store who seemed knowledgeable after we'd asked him all over 20 minutes of specific questions. This specifically model seemed to have the best combination of features and assess we could afford. We've been quite pleased with it. The setup was truly easy (once our son came by and helped us move out the Cyclopean, heavy old-fashioned RCA set we were replacing) and it did well out of the box. In a jiffy we upgraded our Dishnetwork setup to HD and hooked it up, the picture distinction both in HD and SD (it's fun learning all this new video lingo) seems barring. The only complaint we would have is that the complain system seems noticeably lower in volume than we would like when we're playing anything on the DVD, DVR or Roku systems. I don't advised any distortion, it just requires turning up louder than I would tender in order to get adequate volume.Overall, we're...

Gigantic TV, but first one had defective sound
We set up a 60" LG plasma in our den, which we love, so when I needed a smaller TV for the refuge gym, I bought this 32" model. It's got a great spit and it's easy to set up, and with a Roku it was cheaper than be like "internet TVs" that come with the streaming fabric (netflix, hulu, etc) built-in. So for the price and the quality, it was objective what we wanted. However, after about 20 minutes of being on, the reverberate would fizzle once and then intermittently cut out. It was practically like a feedback loop, once it started, the hearing would cut out faster and faster until it just stopped working perfectly. At first we thought it was the Roku, so we exchanged the Roku box for a new one, but it was tranquil happening, and we tried a jump drive, and some other ideas, but in the end realized that it was the TV sound cutting out. We returned the TV for an perfect replacement and have been very happy. But if yours does the grotesque sound cutting out thing, exchange it for a replacement!

They stripped a lot of features out for 2012 done with the same 2011 model
Con written by K.WatsonThey stripped a lot of features out for 2012 upward of the same 2011/2010 line/models. The reasons are unclear. I pretend to to just make more money and fleece their customers placid more. They removed so many great features that remarkably made this a great set but they kept the reward the same, which I would like to point out is already excited compared to other models in the size. There is solely no sense or logic in the stripping of these features whatsoever. They removed a HDMI anchorage. Now there are not enough ports to hook up everything you dire. Deal breaker for most potential customers integrity there. With just 2 ports, I've already had to extract out my set away from the wall several times to cook between consoles, or if I want to watch a bluray moving picture or if I want to watch cable. It's a hassle. God only knows why LG would wipe out a very much needed HDMI port from us. Even the guy at A-one Buy told us that he does not recommend this set to anyone because it...

Effectively disappointed . . .
Do not buy this TV in the family way to get the same quality that the 32LD450 and the 32LK450 had. While it may be the 32LK450's replacement, it certainly doesn't contemporary up to its predecessor. The only area of "improvement" is that they settle upon all allegedly have IPS screens. The one I purchased was an S-IPS (I would procure chosen A-MVA if I had a choice), the other unit on the shelf had the just the same AUSY code, and so did the display unit. The IPS is only an "convalescence" though if you were playing the panel lottery with the 32LK450 and disquieting to find an IPS panel instead of the A-MVA panel. The TV I got has a very minutest amount of backlight bleed on the bottom edge shed weight to the right of the center. It's not very noticeable with the backlight down but if you require it high, it stands out and has been getting worse. Initially there was no banding on the DVI>HDMI signal from the PC on different test pages but, that has started to show up as definitely for some reason. Speaking of tests, do not bother...

A secure but not great set
LG's cut-mid level sets have earned a reputation for having low gaming lag, consummate color accuracy, and the most extensive features and advise fully options of any sets at or even above their premium level. The CS560 series still delivers in these regards, but to a lesser territory than earlier models. The styling and build je sais quoi of the TV are very good overall. My panel is an S-IPS type and most owners on forums be dressed confirmed the same, suggesting that LG may not be conducting a panel raffle (randomly shipping VA and IPS panels for the same model) this year. The buttons are all taste sensitive, which is a nice feature but makes them stony to find in the dark. One complaint to make about the set is that it buzzes faintly unless the backlight is set to 100, which can be a picayune annoying when using the set quietly at night. The input lag at 1080p seems to for the most part around 1-2 frames, keeping with LG's model for fast processing time. There is hardly any distinct...

Not the Cheapest Foresee TV, but a Safe Bet.
Search for 32" 720p TVs on amazon or anywhere on the web. There is a cluster of them ranging from around $200 to up to over $400. This one price wise sits precise in the middle, so we would expect it to be average in the bunch so I will grade it as such. Every transaction TV has similar picture quality so don't waste time frustrating to find an advantage there. Things that desire change are TV depth, connection, extra hardware/software, and how very/ugly it looks from the front. The TV depth is rather thick on this one, but you would be hard pressed to manage a TV in the range that is not. Westinghouse does make a 32" thinner TV at hither 2' think that sells for sub $300, but I can not subscribe to a Westinghouse TV due my experiences with there bad quality. That being said this TV falls as we look for with a average size and therefore passes. The union on this TV do not really disappoint me personally. I know people like to run the whole shooting match with HDMI these days, but I couldn't ethically...

Simple good TV for the price. The sound is better than most.
I am a persistence director at a nursing home and I buy 32 inch LCD's for resident rooms.I induce purchased about 6 different brands from Amazon in the defunct 9 months.I like this one the best and plan on exclusive buying these from now on.This unit has an save picture with good black level's for an LCD.The rational on it is very good for a flat panel. There is a much mastery amount of clear bass and treble compared to the other brands that I oblige purchased.I like the fact that it has an SD card notch on the side. That makes it very easy for someone to authenticate photos.SD seems to be taking over as the required reminiscence in camera's.It doesn't have a USB slot which would set up been nice.

Unbelievable for the price
I wanted a 2nd TV for our less over again used family space in our lower level. My only requirements were that it be reasonably priced, at least 32", and interface with my older DVD virtuoso with component connections, and my older VCR with composite connections (yes, my kids mollify watch the occasional VHS movie). Frankly I didn't dolour if it was internet connectable for Netflix, or had a specific refresh deserve. After viewing a bunch of TVs and brands side by side at my townsman "Good Purchase" store, including generic whack-off brands, it was clear this model of Panasonic really had the best picture for the price. The contrast, colors, and inspection-ability of the IPS panel really stood out against other TVs in this cost out range. After checking Amazon, Amazon had the lowest reward anywhere. The box came with a hole in the side, but I suspicion that is not necessarily the fault of Amazon. Still the TV is not dual-boxed when shipped, so fortunately whatever made the rent did not get through far...

Perfect nice budget HDTV
Barely received mine today. Was quite easy to set up positively I figured out the stand slides into a panel at the posterior of the TV. I own a Panasonic 42" and set this one to the same settings since there are no unfeigned calibrations posted online yet since it's a newer paragon. It looks very good and comparable to the 42". Funereal/night scenes seem a little soft but it's nothing to as a matter of fact complain about.Pros:Price ($343 1 day shipping)Touched off Quality - I was replacing a 2007 Sony LCD and this resonate blows the other away. I did hook it up to external speakers but the survey out of the box is not bad at all.Picture Quality - If 720p is fine for you you should suffer with no problems with this TV. Non-HD channels are average dignity and the HD ones are nice.Weight - It was surprisingly light, just 22 pounds with stand and 19 withoutCons:Just 2 HDMI portsI was not able to program my cable detached using the codes provided for Panasonic. That may be because...
