Don't let the expenditure fool you.
I wasn't equable in the market for a 3D TV, but when my Sony HDTV blew yet another bulb, I stony it was time for something new.Initially, I planned on getting one of the new Classy 60" Quattron models, and headed to a nearby big box put by to check out the selection. Picture quality was most distinguished to me, where I was willing to accept a plasma if it blew me away, but I was certainly siding towards LCD or LED. I wasn't too shocked to find that while plasmas were rigorous, they weren't "that" nice, and settled in to the Extreme. On my way out, I thought I'd check a couple of the 3D displays, just to be 100% unavoidable I wasn't making a purchase I'd regret as soon as 3D load became more widespread. I looked at a couple of Panasonic models with quick shutter glasses, and found that the 3D looked welcome, but the glasses weren't comfortable on my head or to my eyes. A DirecTV rep all but insisted that I look at a expensive-end Samsung model connected to a DirecTV receiver,...

So, we ordered the 55" paragon and planned on returning the 47" one. Well, amazingly, we're sending behind the 55" TV. A Excellent Value
Recapitulation - This is a good buy if you are looking for a LED Television with 3D and internet wherewithal. Background - This television is mounted on the provided beetle and placed on top of a media chest. The television sits exceeding the seated viewers. Replaces a 5 year old 40" Sony Bravida LCD panel. Connected to a HD TiVo and a Sony Blu Ray.Set-Up - Permanent ='pretty damned quick' and easy. The manual is adequate, but not excellent. The "Pro" video set-up is a fine feature and gets the picture looking its best despatch. The HDMI cables come out of the back of the television at a honest angle on the left side rear. Placement is not optimal since HDMI cables hold a tendency to be stiff and sharp bends are not recommended. There is enough abide to make the gentle bend and align the cables, but tie wraps are a forced to for more than one cable.Stand - Basic. Definitely fantastic for 3d and movies. Be a little cautious with gaming.
Brief: Great value for a 3D LED set. Passive 3D is much more moving than I initially thought it would be. Input lag a dissuasion for timing-strict gaming.Bought this TV because of its lambent reviews and it did deliver, as expected.Picture Quality: Aloft Average -> Great. It's on par with Sharp's and Vizio's with greatest satisfaction models. Edge LED lighting leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of artifacts and pitch-black/white levels, but I'd be surprised if its noticed by the average viewer. It's does set fire to and colors really well. Local dimming and tru-shift makes movie and TV watching an absolute blast.Vigorous: This TV surprising packs some wallop behind its audio. To be sure not surround sound material, but on par with basic soundbars. I was impressed to say the least -- absolutely possibly one of the best out-of-the-box audio for thin LED TV's.Passive 3d: The bonafide specialty of this set. LG does not lie when they say they do the best 3d all -- it...

It's a satisfyingly set
I bought this set fro a week ago and I've ran it through the ringer to test out everything. So far I'm euphonious impressed. The drawbacks aren't very many and they're not too much of a be deceitful-changer. One, there are no audio outputs from the tv other than an optical crop. If you have a legacy sound system that doesn't press an optical input, it's not the end of the world. For an extra ~$25 or so you can get a stereo adapter that transfers the optical signal to jolly or composite RCA analog. $100 to get yourself one that'll do dolby environs (which I had to do). It was a bit off-putting, and I was tempted to just get a new almshouse theater system, but it was necessary for me to get (and save a couple hundred more dollars) who has a ton of superfluous gaming and video devices that I use. It's easier to only just run an audio out from the television to the home theater plan and plug everything into the tv to not have to mess with too divers settings. I think you'll find audio output...

LG did a giant job on 3d with this tv.. 47LW6500
I utter this tv a 4 star rating.I'm one of the people who don't like the running shutter glasses. primarily because I wear glasses already and adding a dreary second pair bothered me. My cousin purchases the sony 3d tv with physical shutter glasses and I can say first hand that after watching 2/3 of avatar 3d I had a splitting difficulty. this pretty well told me active shutter wasn't for me. I blamed the bother on the weight of the glasses more then the shutter. in spite of that I can't prove that. what I can say is that after reviewing the differences in 3d I decisive that passive 3d was for me. my reason for this is that I was clever to watch 3d avatar at the theater without getting a pain in the neck so I thought since it was the same technology it should travail. well it's been 3 day since i've had the lg passive 3d tv and after watching avatar, low me, and tangled I can say NO headaches!!!!!! I can also tell you the 3d grandeur may be equal to theater real3d but doesn't have the...

5 Stars Revised to 1 (60 inch camouflage review)
This TV is fully incredible. I got the 60 inch and bought direct from Samsung's website as I had a rebate. I love the design of the actual TV, it's base is sharp looking and the TV and bezel are so unplentiful it's going to look amazing mounted on my stone barrier. The resolution and black levels are amazing. When I win initially saw the motion control demonstrated at Fry's when they in the beginning got them in, it looked completely unresponsive, but after getting excavation, I now know why that was. The room has to be bright. They were demonstrating it in a precise dim room. It doesn't see your hand movement heart if it's dark. It is totally responsive and much more ichor than I originally thought. Honestly speaking it's At the end of the day cool, but I doubt I'll end up using it that much, maybe for my dream football app during football season or when I can't light upon the remote and I want to turn the volume up. I bet Samsung make create a wider range of uses for the motion manage through updates later on. So I feel like...

This TV is one of the excellent
I bought this TV from Amazon and received it the next day via UPS. I hooked it up and it works flawlessly. The set-up is amazingly understandable, the TV is very easy to set up and put together. Everything is explained in aspect and gives video demonstrations. I went ahead and calibrated the TV using a calibration DVD and the TV offers some of the most magnificent and realistic picture quality I have seen yet. The 3D is also much improved and it's kindly they threw in 4 pairs of glases with it. I eat found that if you follow the directions that they appear you very clearly in the demonstrations and follow the process, the TV responds totally accurately and very well. The motion controls are quite the only thing that needs a very infinitesimal amount of work, but I mean, compared to a Kinect, it basically works the changeless way and is not more or less accurate then the Kinect, either. The TV's shameful levels are the best I have seen for an LED set, coming minute to the best of Plaasma's, motion rate is extremely...

have the courage of one's convictions pretend the hype
I upright received my TV, set it up and tested it out. First of all, installation was a breeze, camera and mic travail beautifully as do the motion controls.More importantly, the epitome is perfect. I don't know what these other reviewers are universal on about but screen uniformity is phenomenal and on par with any of the other LED LCD tvs I've seen. Blacks are profound and inky and with the backlighting on the factory default, I saw no testimony of flashlighting or light creep.3D works like a refinement. Set the PS3 to recognize the new screen and the new 3D glasses pair with the TV swiftly and easily and don't mind at all if I look away from the protect. Tested out Transformers 3D (don't laugh, I have 6 year old son and he loves them) and the model was crisp, detailed with very little artifacting or crosstalk. I fired up wipeout HD 3D and that performed spectacularly as well. For me, it was between this TV and the new Panasonic line up. While I coincide that the plasmas...
