3d Projector?
I'm getting charitable of confused with the stuff I've been reading almost compatibility with 3D in regards to the 3D projectors. I wanted to get a 3D projector for my PS3 games a substitute alternatively of a 3D TV. Which one should I get and is everything

if it's compatible with stereographic 3-D using glasses and 120hz reduced it would work , I haven't heard of 3-D projectors being made for it notwithstanding .
you'd need one with a separate i/r receiver for the glasses .

Tiptop Value
Are there improve projectors out there for 2D content?Sure, for 4-10x the expenditure. Are there better projectors out there for 3D?Possibly, but nothing I have knowledge of of under 5k+ and even those have more ghosting issues than the acer.So it all comes down to the Acer being an surprising value for the money.---Things I Love:1. Symbol quality is top notch for 720p2. Colors are excellent3. It is very much bright even in eco mode (almost too bright for incomprehensible room)4. The high brightness helps 3d since glasses cut down some endurable.5. It is quiet in eco modeI wish it had:1. Faster colorwheel. I do see the DLP rainbow in every grim scene, and often even in brighter scenes.2. Bigger zoom lens. I can Scarcely get it to fill my 106" screen at 12'3. Lens succeed. I have a rear wall shelf mount @75" from the conquer. I have to set the acer upside down on the shelf to become it fill...

Cinema-opulence 3D in your own home!!
Ok, when I purchased this 720p/1080i projector, I had fully researched the note to be sure it would output Blu ray 3D and video gaming in 3D on a gargantuan 120" screen. It was a worthwhile investment. This projector, coupled with the Nvidia emitter/glasses, computer with a blu ray contender and the right graphics card (check Nvidia website) and the proper software- Arcsoft's Totalmedia, I now have near cinema sized 3D experiences at domestic- it does sound like a lot, but in the long run I spent less then 1/2 then I would obtain had I purchased the Panasonic, Sony or Samsung 3d tvs that are 1/2 the expanse of my screen. There is absolutely no ghosting, and all of the 3D Blu rays I prepare watched are amazing, Monsters vs Aliens, Coraline, Cloudy with a Fortune of Meatballs, The Grand Canyon Adventure and Ice Age 3. I am hoping the 3D Blu ray releases will pick up and there last will and testament be many more choices available.. In the meantime, Nvidia has 400 PC games that can be played in 3D- Sinistral for Dead 2 , Batman...

What's the largest projector for 3D ?
I bought a PC survive year with the nVidia 3d system, it came with a Samsung 22" study and it looks utterly fantastic.I instantly thought "I demand a bigger display" so I went to nVidia's page to take in compatible displays. The Optoma HD66 was and still is listed as being compatible ans supported. So I bought one...skilfully guess what? it is neither compatible or currently supported. If you search the nvidia after you will find that if your HD66 was built in front of August of 2010 (that's right, August of 2010!) it Disposition NOT WORK.I then called Optoma tech prop up and was told by the phone tech that in order for it to labour, it had to be sent back to the factory for modification and that I would be honest for the shipping.... I told the guy that that was depraved and I would simply return it and get something that in actuality did work as advertised. In case your wondering, I purchased the Acer H5360 .. I should set up purchased it the first time around, not only does the 3D labour...

Big Bang for Shallow Buck
I've only had my ViewSonic PJD5123 one day, which is a little premature for reviewing, but with purely one review posted, I thought another would be profitable. I actually made my purchase on that review's direction, since I could find no others.First, let me say that my hold was largely price-driven. I figured I'd have to buy a tolerant of projector, but the low price Amazon charged was the hook that caused me to mouthful on this brand-new one. My second criterion was that it had to occupation with a Mac; it does! I did have to purchase an extra guy for my Macbook Pro unibody ($29.99 from Apple). I could from gotten a third party cable for much less (and may unmoving do that for a backup), but the reviews on them were not as favorable as those on the Apple one.So I took the immersion, even paying an extra $4 (Amazon Prime) to have planned it delivered in two days. It arrived on time and I found the whole kit in the box as advertised. The written documentation is worthless, but...

An sparing solution
The ViewSonic PJD5123 Projector is an stuff and economical solution for movie viewing and PowerPoint presentations. Projecting from 25' it creates a promising 8' wide image. I connect it to a laptop with Bose Chaperone 2 Series II computer speakers creating an exceptional audio video feel. I use a Logitech wireless mouse to control presentations. You may necessary a case for the projector and possibly a longer video cable than the 6' radio provided. I am completely satisfied with the quality and show of the projector and would recommend it to anyone in the market.

Astounding projector
After shopping round and purchasing a few "cheap" projectors I realized that I needed to bight the bullet and buy something a bit more precious. I did a ton of research and for my price point of around $300 I institute this projector. I was a bit skeptical as I have had no luck with projectors recently and was worked up about throwing down so much money. Loll assured, this projector is worth it! I wanted a nice affordable talkie projector for backyard movie nights with friends. Worrisome to find one that provided a great picture along with being affordable is no quiet task. But this model is fantastic. I can't get over how chip the picture is. And we use nothing but a white sheet pinned between two hammok posts. Despite in a room with mid day sun the picture is still bright and clear. The fan is not too loud and the controls are very easy to work. My single concern is that finding the right connection for my macbook 5,1 unibody has been a hassle. We connected it to a skinflinty dvd player and it...

Does a properly excellent job for the price!
I bought this projector 3 weeks ago from Amazon. Deliverance was prompt and on time. The projector came in the usual Optoma box but without a gain case. Of course I knew that, but one would comprise been nice anyway. I had already printed out the handbook (at work of course) from the Optoma website.Set up was undemanding enough but a little time consuming as the settings where unqualifiedly off. I believe everyone using this projector primarily for snug harbor a comfortable theater will and should set the bulb to standard. The spear-carrier lumen will come in handy however when using the 3D glasses to regard 3D content.Once calibrated, picture quality was decidedly impressive for a 720p projector. Blacks were black sufficiency, color and shadow, rich and detailed. The projector does a adequate job (imo) of scaling 1080p content. I have two Blu-ray players and the projector showed Blu-ray happy a lot better with my Philips player so like the whole kit else the source is important.Overall I'm very cock-a-hoop with my purchase. Couldn't...

Noble box for the price
Acutely nice projector, good colors, brightness and black levels. This is not booming to compete with a $2k projector, but for its class, it does a really arousing job.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because out of the box, the settings correct the image look quite poor, complete detriment of detail in faces, skin tones are definitely off. After some far-sighted calibraiton, Specifically:- I turned down the bulb to ideal- turned "Brilliant Color" way down- reduced the contrast to down 42-45.- I also turned down the brightness to 43, but after doing a THX optimizer, brought the brightness rough up to the standard 50.AFTER CALIBRATION, I am VERY glad with the colors, the black levels are good (not smashing, but pretty darn good) and the shadow detail is much improved than what I have seen in the past.I would push this projector to anyone looking for a ht projector in this price radius.(Also, as others have reported, the...

Well-known entry level projector......
....but ended up present with the HD20.This is my first projector and I use it solely for watching movies; blu-ray, DVD, and streaming HD from VUDU\Netflix. I had nothing to correlate it to except for my brothers which was a Optoma 1080p projector with a shed of 15-18 feet.I was very impressed out of the box. Blu-ray looks vast @ 11' throw\85" diag. picture. Works moderately well in ambient light, but really comes among the living in lights off. HD stuff looks really good from viewing mileage of 12'.There is some rainbow effect, but not again at all and usually during credits. Certainly not a deal breaker for me. We observant of it directly off our light gray painted wall and it looks bare good. Older DVD's are blurry, but that is just the description of the lower res DVDs. The texture of the wall and no gain gray maquillage will require a screen eventually. The controls are beautiful basic and simple to use. There are some advanced calibration settings that I didn't fine kettle of fish...

Awful product for the price
I eat used this item like 3 days and I bought it as a replacement for my old epson and as a quota to my benq... I have probed it in different conditions and I can delineate it as follows...At night lights on or off it simply works prominent in power point presentations and computer general use... the even so for movies...When connected to the ps3 or my 360 images are not as actual as in a lcd tv, but it was possible to play and that is normal if you consider that this projector is 800x600 and it is categorically cheap... When connected to my old xbox, my ps2 or the wii it works completely as a tv, same quality... Anyway I would not endorse this unit to play new video games...In day effortless conditions it continues working perfectly well... you can see the images assured pure even in an image 60" wide... terrific demeanour for such a cheap projector... I highly recommend it...If I look like this projector to my other two ones (an expensive epson and cheaply benq) I only...

The Kindest PROJECTOR you can find at this price
Pros: Inured to mostly for presentations and occasionally to display videos, amazingly seeable in a well illuminated room, minimal difference between ECO and conventional mode so you can go ECO mode in any condition, cool feature to reconcile light output to compensate wall paint color (so you can catechumen any wall into a real screen), 6000 hours lamp in ECO, low cacophony, very good scaling of non native resolutions tried 1280 X 800, 1366 X 768 and 1650 X 1080, I fed a 720p HD OTA TV signal of a soccer underhand and the picture was excellent, actually amazing for a projector in this valuation range, brilliant colors, lamp replacement everywhere 120 USD, small footprint for a 2700 lumen plot, very good option for a data projector at this evaluate. Actually this is the second Acer projector I bought for my unit, very satisfied with the performance.Cons: * No audio.* No buttons, the implausible control slides in the projector housing to be used as the button bus station, so if you lose the remote you will...

Horrifying
I'm in point of fact happy with this projector so far. I set up a diy screen in my backyard, and bear had a couple pretty successful movie party's. Now the suns down, I can get a really good picture at over 100 inches diagonal playing a DVD off my laptop. Later in the year, when the suns dropping a not much earlier, I'm looking forward to Monday night football in the backyard on my nine by five riddle. The only slight negatives are the connectivity (vga or s video at worst),and the amount of heat the projector produces. But that's only a efflux in a small room. Overall, great product for the bundle. Comparable to projectors twice the price.

Superior step up from the HD20
I upgraded to this projector from my HD20 and had a come about to compare them on my 150" 1.1 gain screen.Out of the box the inky levels looked slightly better than the HD20 but not ample supply to call it an improvement IMO. However, the contrast difference to me is a tremendous improvement. The picture looks much brighter and the higher end of the misty-scale has much more punch to it. I first A/B'd How To Tutor Your Dragon in 2D and it was immediately obvious that the HD33 outperformed it on juxtapose and overall color saturation. Much more WOW and POP to the painting. The HD33 was a little quieter than the HD20 in both modes as probably. Standing six feet from them while they were at between assignments, I could clearly tell which one was making more rumbling... that being the HD20, with the HD33 only emitting a faint whir from its fan. In 3D mode the HD33's fan kicks up a not any but nothing too bad... the HD33 sounded just as loud in 3D craze as the HD20 in eco-mode for comparison.I am...

Awe-inspiring 3D!
By a hair's breadth received my HD33 Saturday Sept. 3rd. I was not sure how good the 3D would look, now I slang believe how good this projector is. 2D images are very positive, it reminds me the Sony I have and will continue to use it for conformable movies, VPL-AW10, got this one back in 2007 it has 1024 hrs on the lamp, and it is noiseless looking Very Good, I should change the lamp when reaches maybe 2000 hrs.Without hope to the HD33, this is my second 3D pj, got last dec.2010 the LG BX327, but on no account liked, bad image contrast ratio, poor 2d, unproductive 3d and 4:3 native, just bad. I think it will be succeeding to the trash tomorrow. The HD33 is amazing! The 3D quality is impressive. I tested it in distinct movies I have and they came out excellent. The part is solid, and much better than from the pictures I've seen.I was philosophical to get the Sony 3D projector or the Panasonic model, but I am glad that I chose this one.It wishes work just fine with the DLP Link glasses, I favour this one over the RF...

Fearful
I tease been waiting for a new projector since last Fall when the choices were perfect limited. After reading all the reviews on this one I irrevocably took the plunge and it is awesome. Has that nice DLP "pop" and since it's free chip there are no convergence issues inherent with 3 interfere LCD. Was going to wait for the Epson 3010, but that won't be experiencing Frame Interpolation which is a necessity in my book. 3D games are extraordinary. Hook up an HTPC and you have everything you need.UPDATE: I had the break to do a side by side comparison with the Epson 3010, which is this projector's categorical competitor. Here are the results:Sharpness: The Optoma is better. Not only is it sharper, but to get the Epson even close you experience to increase the sharpness controls which results in a terribly noisy and grainy picture.Color: Colors on the Optoma were more lifelike. The Epson seemed dull no matter which settings were tempered to.Uniformity: The Optoma demonstrated...
