50 Inch Lcd Tv?
I can disburse about $2250, and I was wondering if I should shell out a few reserve bucks to get an LED tv. Is it worth it?

bravo! you selected LCD, not plasma. now, go to the supply where they have them set up side by side, see which has the conquer picture. it's best to choose that way. and you should be superior to get a 52 inch for under $2000, around 1500-1600 most liable

WOW
This was my pre-eminent flat screen tv. I have looked at them in stores for years, and knew the "attribute" of the image I wanted. I totally took a chance because this one looked considerate, and the price was right.Delivery took about a week, but that was OK with me, they Non-Standard real made sure it was kept in perfect condition. It was absolutely easy to set up... instructions are a little vague with putting the TV onto the stand you just assembled. So look at a represent on here if you can't get it on, the majority of the base needs to stick out the face of the tv.... a tad hard to line up, but we got it.At first the screen color was way to verdant, but the crispness and LARGE screen made it worth figuring out. Tried messing with tinge, color, image, settings, ect. Nothing helped... but got a few settings that would be pronounced for during a party!Anyway, turned out to be the XBox that we were playing a DVD washing one's hands of. When we took it off and finally got the DirecTV...

Matchless Deal for a Everyday TV.
The big frighten anyone looking for a TV will have is the 720p. Won't your TV observation be ruined? The answer is maybe.First thing to deem is the TVs distance. If you are doing to be watching a TV of this size at lets say 8'or less 1080vs 720 would be recognizable. >8ft you probably couldn't tell unless you are some order of TV guru.Second thing to consider is the content you propose to view the most. Except for your home blu-rays/distraction consoles or some Nexflix, your TV never gets a 1080p input. Your HD strand/dish is 480-720. Hulu is also 720p as is much of Netflix. All that being said, your intended use of the mask will determine if the 720 would affect you. All that being said, unless you mean to use the TV for a game room or a home theater, you probably are lovely with 720 as most your content is less than 720.As far as this TV goes, like all plasmas the paint is great and you can't go wrong. The screen, for this price is also moderately thin. The bezel is also...

Documentation choice for the money
Owning a SONY Bravia LCD and a Panasonic Viera plasma I knew I preferred the plasma and solid on this LG 50-inch for its hard to beat price. I considered it a second-line TV to my larger 1080p Panasonic so didn't mind this one's 720p decidedness. After living with it for a few weeks, I'm happy with that decidedness and I would rate the picture very highly, with a match up minor reservations. Some say you can't tell the difference between 720 and 1080, but I plainly can see the individual pixels when I'm within a few feet of the protect, and there is a slight difference on small, sharply edged images, like the ESPN protect crawl for example. If it's your habit to sit five or six feet from the TV you superiority want to spend extra for a 1080; but the farther you get from the screen the less variation between the two. At 10-12 feet this is an excellent image, very close to my 1080 Panasonic. The other bitch is that the screen is highly reflective, which can be...

We bought this TV from tigerdirect here on Amazon after some study.Great picture and we were happy with it until the portion crapped out on us after owning it for 6weeks.The lcd panel went bad according to Toshiba tech rep in India (wholesome luck if you have to call them!!). Called Tiger Through and they would do nothing for us.They WOULD exchange us another TV and give us free shipping!!! You can surmise what i told them to do!! Next I tried toshiba character service and they wont replace the TV unless it is deemed"unrepairable". I indeed got to talk to somebody in the states and they were no servants.Next, I tried to get the thing repaired by the local Toshiba advantage rep and it seems that the part is currently unavailable and he wont have knowledge of how long it will take to get or even if he can get it. So I will not buy a Toshiba product again and Tiger direct last will and testament never see me again. These ----- companies see fit take your $$$ in a NY minute but there client service is Non existant!!! Do yourself a favor...

Entirely Happy
Saw this tv in an ad for 749.99 1-01-12 did some examination and decided to purchase, I have found you will high-pressure yourself crazy with professional reviewers since most the aggregate is based on intricate measuring instruments now if they positively out say its junk I believe them. anyways after mounting up the set I started to wonder if I made the right chose, since instructions are unclear... but I started troubleshooting what I thought was a pinched picture and found that everything that contributed to it was not the settings in the tv more readily all of the settings in the dish/cable box once I set my receiver box to the right settings and installed a new hdmi cable the picture on this set is Choose BLOWING... makes it seem as if your in the studio watching them veil the episode or news events... I watched Avatar on dvd and was stunned with the artwork I then watched the movie 2012 on a HD dish position and it seemed as if the plane was coming out of the screen at you!! Sound is acceptable but I am using a home...

Distinction mount -- not cheap but low-cost (by design). Like it.
I was skeptical of this mount. Why should this be so poor compared to other mounting kits? I ordered one (due to the evaluation), and prepared to return it if I did not think the mount could market the weight of the 52" LCD TV (Samsung).Once I got it, I understood the rate. Good low-cost design and built with unalloyed heavy duty steel.- Two horizontal bars are responsibility-bearing, and for proper VESA spacing, they give birth to to be parallel and relative distance must be in the right tolerances. These are made of packed steel.- Two vertical bars (in the wall mount) are flimsey, and that's ok. it should be rational enough make a rectangle box w/ square angles. That's it.- Two vertical mounting (to the TV) brackets are of bleak duty metal. Making this in to two parts (not one), reduction of substance, but also allows free horizontal adjustment on the TV mount.- By doing the mainly, the kit is small, uses less metal (and reduce shipping and tangible waste)...

Prominent TV Mount
The Cheetah mount is an far-out value. The mount is amazingly sturdy and very fine built. It took me about 30 minutes to marshal the parts out of the box. Then another hour to mount the TV to the brick first of all our fireplace. I used 4 Quicktap blue masonry anchors to rivet the mount to the wall, and it is so secure I could probably disconnect from the TV itself.I was also pleased to find that the mount included all of the ironmongery (bolts, washers, spacers) that you would necessity to mount almost any VESA compatible flat panel. Our TV is a 52 inch Samsung (750 series) and the bolts I needed were included.Total, a great buy.

Can't beat out it for the price! Cheetah APTMM2B
By the skin of one's teeth installed my 42" Plasma in our bedroom, and here's my regard as:This is actually a high-quality, very determined mount. When I took it out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised. Now, here is the Holder of the story...The directions that come with this kit are not that at best. The pictures are vague, and only after wrangling with this plush of metal did I figure out how this thing is supposed to be assembled. Cardinal of all, the included drywall anchors are NOT drywall anchors at all -- they are masonry mollies, and won't trade with standard residential drywall. Thanks for powerful me before I put 4 gigantic holes in my wall, Cheetah! So if you're using this in your living quarters, here's what you need to do: 1. Assemble the misery on the floor/table/bed/whatever, and make sure it is healthy. 2. Find the wall studs, and mark them lightly with a pencil. 3. Orate the mount up on the wall where you want it, and the make satisfied the holes (not the "obvious" 4 holes)...

Not bad for the sacrifice
I in days bought an LG 42LD550, used it for a few months and was quite pleased with its quality, but the 42" screen size was a trivial too small for my living room, so I decided to get a bigger TV rather than. The LD550 has better features than the LK520 -- its internet diligence was one thing that attracted me, but it requires an adapter which doesn't awaken with the TV, so I never got to test it. I guess I don't need this feature anyway, so I returned it and bought the 47" LK520, at the after all is said price --- it was on sale on Amazon for about 7 hundred. The shipping:This mock-up came out in March 2011, and I placed the order in April. I deem because it is relatively new, so I had to wait 4-6 weeks for the outcome to be shipped. So after waiting patiently for over one month, my TV eventually came. I was expecting the guys from the shipping companionship to open the box and let me check the TV, just like what they did when I bought the other LG pattern. I was surprised...

Smashing TV
I take had this TV for only a few days, but it appears to be exactly what I wanted. The LK520 LG ideal is very similar to the earlier model LD520 (well rated), except that the dynamic contrast is patently a bit better for the LK520(150K to 1 vs 100K), but I suspect that may not be that valuable.INPUT-OUTPUTIt has sufficient inputs (HDMI, component, etc), and outputs, although I unruffled wish these new HDTVs had a regular stereo efficiency (ie., 2 RF outputs) so I could use them with my old amplifier. The LK520 no greater than has 1 optical digital audio output. However, the appear from the LK520 speakers is surprisingly robust, although most force probably want more to complete the home theater encounter. The LK520 also has a USB port, but I have not used this yet. The specs say you can link your external USB devices for JPEG photos or MP3 files. (Note, this example does NOT have any internet connection capabilities--in any case you could hook this up to a BluRay DVD player that...

romp intro and specs because you guys can find those anywhere onlinei pore over through all the reviews before i bought this TV and it helped a lot. Expectantly this would help as well. Some features are tested and here is the perfunctory review:-120HZ TruMotion works perfectly, way punter than 60HZ and other 120HZ TVs, PS3 (black-ops and Top Spin 4) and 3 1080P videos (brouhaha, sports and concert) tested.2.4ms response in days of yore makes everything so smooth.-REALLY Stunning look-alike, color depth-good, brightness-good, penetrating contrast 150,000:1 (12 HD pictures tested, each of them was at least 15 MB)-Survey quality is better than i thought. APE format music tested (influential, rock concert, heavy metal, R&B and Pop) I thought it was gonna be the barely weakness for this TV because 80% LCD TVs having bad unbroken quality. But it turned out that the Invisible Speakers worked beautiful well, extra speakers are not needed for bedroom use unless you have a yen for to get...

2 things:IPS Incarnation quality, and Motion Picture Setting...
As a programmer and a gamer, I drink my share of expensive monitors (just ask my wife!). And the utter LCD TV never satisfy my quality standard; colors are either too cartonish, ebon is not black, and white is tinted blue. So I have but used plasma as TV. It's warm, have rich intrinsic color, it's perfect for movie night, there is no affray there. So for my second TV, which in my study and music margin, I want to try something else, since I keep hearing the LED LCD are the bombshell nowaday (even most of them still do not look as soul like as good plasma to me), the energy usage is low, spare and light. So I try my first LED LCD with this model after researching the latest 2012 models within my "2nd tv" cost range.Sales person kept pushing LG (got deviltry wand, apps, thin bezel.....), but for me, IPS is the hypnotic word. For people who do not know what it is just google "IPS panel", if no point, just know this, IPS is supposedly the best panel you can get as LCD panel (I...

So Far, So Careful!
I picked this TV up earlier this month to understand the place of a disappointing LED set from another brand, and I couldn't be happier that I made the flog. This Panasonic model is the sharpest I've ever had and a few sudden adjustments to the picture settings were all I needed to guarantee a consistently solid (if not better) picture. In a TV, I wanted something that would be conspicuously reliable when it came to sports, but also worked admirably with movies and other everyday programming together with the occasional video game session, and this TV has certainly delivered on all counts. I'm expert to see the picture clearly from just about every viewpoint imaginable, with no blurring and only a negligible amount of artifacts.I didn't set out to buy a TV equipped with Internet power, but it's definitely a nice feature to have. The setup in the abide is such that I don't need the wireless capability and the added expense of an adapter, because I'm adept to simply connect an ethernet cable to my...

I didn't dearth a 3D TV and I spent a lot of time looking for a TV without 3D. I don't want to pay additionally for it and I won't lay around in my bed with 3D glasses watching a movie so I don't see the fitting. I did want an internet capable TV to stream Netflix movies. I in the old days streamed them through my Wii. This TV does not contain built in wireless, but I bought a and it works beautifully. I plugged my wireless router into the adapter and I deceive four ports to hook up an ethernet cable. I ponder I get better streaming performance this way. I have watched Netflix hardly every day and never had a problem. The picture is beautiful. I establish that I go back and forth...
