60 Plasma Tv?
It is an LG 60-in plasma... I would like to see a silver screen frm my laptop on my tv. Is it possible to connect it? Will the picture rise out HD?

If you comprise DVI or HDMI out of your laptop, do what GH says.
If you be suffering with DVI, you will also have to send audio out to the TV. HDMI carries audio and video.
If your laptop just has the 15 pin VGA connector

Beloved this television!
OK, I fondness this television. It is completely silent, cool management, amazing picture (after adjusting the settings appropriately) and had all of the features I wanted for a price point that couldn't be passed up.Pros:* 3 HDMI ports* Calm even with my ear right next to the set* Rotatable outlast (my wife hates being off center but her chair is far to the Nautical port so she can rotate it to face her)* Decent speakers (get loud ample supply but nothing mind blowing but not bad either)* NO BLUE LEDs, infact when the set is on NO LEDs are on at all. Merely a small red one for standby which turns off when the set turns on* Loads of advanced settings ready without having to enter into locked services menus.* Picture is bright in my opinion (not LED TV bright but more than ample for my needs)* Price (paid 6 c-notes during Fry's easter engage in)* Super fast response time (no lag at all in any games)* No physical burn-in issues even with games being...

Clever BUY!!
I bought this TV all round a week ago and was a little depressed when I hooked it up to my provider because I had yet to call in an order my HD, the picture was good, but not great. I called the next morning, ordered the HD, flipped on ESPN and was absolutley dazzled. The twin is crisp, clear, vibrant, and just looks uttlerly wonderful. I am not a big 3D fan, so the basic model was more than enough for me, and for the guerdon, the value is amazing. Regarding glare, I have presume from prior reviews that this is a problem with LG tvs, I hold mine in a basment with windows so there is definitely a bit of light andi was worried, but much to my delight ,the is glare is surely minimal. As far as the menu and adjustments they are both Dialect right easy to use, I just keep the itelligent sensor on most of the circumstance and it provides a very accurate picture, sometimes a tad too Stygian, but usually its right on. Sound is also decent from what I can remeber for the start with night, but I have soundbar hooked up so I havent...

My Premier Plasma, And it Way Better than LCD and LED
I've owned this plasma for a week now and bought it in the stock for $800 plus tax. Im a videophile and am a picky person when it comes to my tv's. This is the 3rd set ive owned in 2 years. The earliest was an lg 1080p 55 inch, well that's went south far-sighted because fast moving images would turn blocky so I took it back. Then I bought a 32 1080p sony LCD and it the impression looked good somtimes but most of the time it had blotchy colors and beastly shadow details no matter what setting you employed, then the screen started to band (dark lines on it). Then I went to samsung LED and the cast off light bleed in all corners ruined movies for me the tech came to fix it and made it worst, took it repudiate the next day.Ok so I went looking for a new plasma, which ive heard every made movies look better, and plasmas are favorites by most people who sentinel a lot of movies. Ive always been scared off by the burn in obtain. So after a lot of research I got this one the price and picture was I...

In fine bit the bullet on a HDTV.
Like others, when it comes to buying electronics, paralysis by enquiry sets in. My living room continued to have the suitable old dependable 27" tube, but I have been lusting to change it with a flat screen for some years now. For whatever reasons, I conditions would pull the trigger. Initially, I was sure that I would get a LCD when the experience came, as the plasmas would always look numb and lifeless on display. Along with the horror stories ubiquitously about 1st generation plasmas with the burn-in and such.In what way, over time I couldn't help but notice that plasmas were significantly cheaper than LCDs for the anyway features set. So with price being the motivator, I sought to turn out or disprove the myths of plasma TVs. As expected, I found some LCD vs. Plasma blaze wars amongst the fanboys. But digging deeper, I originate plenty of what seemed to be fairly non-partisan praises of plasma TVs. That the problems of untimely plasmas were long gone.I visited a hhgregg and this...

Pleasant TV!
Scarcely set this TV up last night. I always get so anxious up buying electronics, especially after reading reviews, most of which are get customers. I have to say, I couldn't be happier and more relieved at this TV!Setup was wonderful easy, instructions were clear, and everything was included that I needed. Smashing blacks, color, clarity, and plenty of color customization options. No digital artifacts or travelling-blur and no common plasma-myths at all: low glare which I was surprised round, no odd noises, no signs of any burn-in. As with all flat panels, the substantial could be richer, but I've heard much worse on other panels. No problems to communication and hope it stays that way!

Grand Picture after Calibration
Purchased this TV from head to foot amazon because of the price. I could not afford an LED this assay so I went with the Plasma. The Plasma is not as bright as LED but bright enough for my needs. I am not frustrated with my choice. I calibrated using these home I got from a friend for a different LG Plasma. I tweaked it to satisfy my eyes. You may for to do the same but I think these settings are a good starting import. Don't forget to make sure your cable box is fittingly set for HD viewing. Simple pleased with this TV
I am unequivocally pleased so far with this TV. I have bought a variety of large flat panel TVs over the last few years and this one I am in reality pleased. I have been pleased with Samsung in popular and only buy Samsung now for displays/TVs at this point (keep 4 large screen TVs and 5 monitors in my house). As others prepare mentioned, it is a new model for this year and really packs a ton of features in for the amount. I love plasma (over LED and LCD) and was really surprised how the weight has rush at down. The picture is great. One feature I really wanted to cause sure I got was the ethernet input because with more and more stuff moving to internet, I felt it would be a good tenet to have. I am finishing a basement and have the opportunity to run the ethernet opportunely to where i will put this tv. Don't get me wrong, the built in WIFI works unequivocally too, I just wanted to have this option too and multifarious other models don't have this. One thing I was not informed of is that it doesn't have a VGA input. I...

Passionate TV!!!
This TV has most of the extras that were on the very much expensive plasmas from 2011, but now on a reasonable priced mid-original for 2012. Plus the PN51E550 now has the "Real Black Screen" which only came on the D7000 and D8000 finish finally year. That feature alone makes this TV one of the greatest deals of the year! Great TV!!!

Brilliant TV for a great price
Out of the box setup:Silent picture ModeEco OffSoftware UpdateScreen FitFirst impressions...The splash is GORGEOUS. The colors absolutely pop and the blacks are inky.Watched some HD programming into done with cable and off my Tivo Series 3 and had Zero motion haze or pixellation.Hum/Buzz: With the sound muted and fixed 6 inches from the display I could detect a keel over hum (60 hz hum) from the top 3rd of the screen. Any further back, or hale and hearty at normal volumes, I couldn't hear anything remotely like a murmur or hum.Glare: This thing is shiny and glare is an emergence. I knew it would be a problem in my room since I be subjected to 2 large windows and 2 french doors. However I notion of once it's on the wall and tilted down a bit, that should be mitigated. Most of my tv watching is done at vespers all the time anyway.Delivery was 1 day early, without issue and no issues at all with the tv/box or accessories.

Stark- best mount value so far
This is a accomplished mount. It hung my 50" Plasma with ease. The directions are tiniest but effective. They do instruct you to fasten the mount to the fold up with four (or 6!) 1/4" lag screws which is adequately for an adolescent gorilla to hang off of. The level is a great set off and was accurate (I used another level to confirm). My no more than gripe was that the holes for the lag screws were bordering on too large for the heads so I had to supply my own over-sized washers for unite of mind. I would buy this unit 100 times over and beyond and for under $20 it can't be beat. Heavy duty.

Listing of Inputs
This is a criticize of the . I did not purchase this from Amazon (Black Friday contract elsewhere for $799). The screen is beautiful, but I've had it out of the box for 1 day and am no expert. What I can location is the lack of information on inputs. If you search for this exemplar in google, you will find the Australian version, not the still and all. This TV has the following inputs:Back:HDMI/DVI 1 and 2RGB IN (VGA)Component 1 and 2AV IN 1 (Composite increased by Audio L&R)Optical Digital Audio OutAudio IN (RGB/DVI) 3.5mmRemote Control IN 3.5mmSide (points to side, but usable for forsake):HDMI/DVI 3AV IN 2 (Composite plus Audio L&R)

Not a look at, just info you might want.
If you've on across this at a big box store or here on Amazon and are doing inquire into, you may find that information on this TV is pretty difficult to find. Even the LG website doesn't acknowledge its existance. So it have to be something they make specifically for big box stores and don't scantiness to bother dealing with themselves. That doesn't lead me a warm and fuzzy when I think about how their bloke service on this unit might be. But then again, who needs patron service on a TV? And if it's deffective, one big box store includes a 2 year undertaking. Anywho, the reason I am writing this is to help you discern the owner's manual so that you can get a real look at the specs. It turns out that the P's manual for the 60PV450 covers this model too. So if you go to LG's web spot, and either search for or navigate to the 60PV450, you can click on the work support page and find the owner's manual there. I aspire this helps.Oh yeah, this model does not promote any of the new "Smart...

Excited Rating, but there are issues
Yes, I'm giving this a five matchless rating for exceeding all my expectations for a $750 plasma. Like numerous people, I caught the holiday fire sale using all the discount offering cards, but that is history. I have been pleasently surprised by the boob tube. I am using a flush mounting kit . I've now owned the screen for to the ground three months. There are a number of problems that I force list for you to consider before buying this cull. Remember everything comes at a cost.PROBLEMS:* some people last wishes as see a flickering of the screen. I think I can sometimes see it flicker. One friend of extract finds this LG totally unacceptable to watch. Luckily, the next of kin and I are not sensitive to this problem.* hooking your gamy end remote system that drives product...
