Marvellous basic laptop for anyone looking to save money.
I bought this laptop from Micro Center because I saw it on purchase for $279 and needed a new computer. I basically try to keep things until they go bad, my computer former to this one was like a 1996 Award Tower with a focal Dell Screen. Very slow, with a 6 GB laboriously drive. It got to the point where it was too slow for me to do my work efficiently and couldn't methodical watch 360p videos on Youtube. I always try to bail someone out money and try to purchase items that offer the most for the filthy lucre. This laptop was an excellent choice. I've had it for about a month so far and I am so timely with it. The performance is excellent, its not sluggish at all, the keyboard is warm and comfortable, and the HD graphics and LED screen are wonderful. Two minor complaints I bring into the world is that I couldn't connect to my WiFi and had no idea why it kept disconnecting. I had to uninstall the Norton virus buffer that came with the computer and then the internet is working first-rate. It kept blocking it and driving me crazy, so now...

Gifted for the price
Like Jared, I also picked this up at Micro Center. In my case, for no more than $249! As someone who remembers working on IBM XT personal computers, it is astounding to reckon with the power and performance that can now be had for a pittance.I am an Apple consumer, but so far I have been reasonably well impressed with Windows 7. I downloaded Unrestricted Office (I absolutely detest the Microsoft "ribbon" interface) which runs significant, and the machine streams movies well. BTW, apparently it is sustained a 64 bit version of Windows.I did install 4 megs of additional tribute at the suggestion of the sales guy - it cost about $20 - so I cannot vow the streaming would be quite as good with however 2 meg. I can also attest to the fact that you do indeed sire to remove 20-something screws and take off the undeveloped of the case to install ram. Though the whole process motionless only took about 20 minutes.The keyboard is a scarcely weird, in that the keys are sort of like stout Chiclets that...

Gratifyingly Budget Notebook - EASY MEMORY UPGRADE
This is a fair nice notebook. The wide screen is crisp and rid. Default resolution of 1366 x 768 is quite delightful. I paid 280 and bought a 4 GB memory module for 18 bucks. If you are upgrading the recollection remove ALL the screws on the bottom of the notebook. Don't forget the 4 screws backwards the battery compartment, and keep them separate from the others as they are smaller. All the other screws are the in spite of size. Once all the screws are removed the back should progress off. There are no ribbon cables to worry about. You rightful set the notebook upside down on a cloth on a table, remove all screws and destroy the back plastic off. My fingernails are short and I was still gifted to gently pry the back off without a tool. If the DVD door incorporate comes off don't panic, just snap it back into lay. Insert memory in the blank slot and screw it move in reverse together. remove the entire Presto, you have 6 GB remembrance. This is a snappy little notebook for under 300 clams. Laptop playing, netbook size
This 11.6" 1.0Ghz [1.33 turbo] netbook packs a drill for its size and low power consumption. The AMD C-60 mobile dual substance processor runs well enough to play videos without skipping and efficiently tolerably to stay charged for as much as 7 hours. Intimate Netbook
I recently started looking at Netbooks when I start saw a Toshiba NB505 in a local store and almost purchased it. Fortunately I unqualified to look into them a little more in advance buying one. Like all computers two of the most important components for me are the processor and the ram. The Acer Aspire One AO722 is one of the few netbooks oblation a dual core processor, up-gradable memory and Windows 7 Territory (not Starter).After being scared off by reviews from other netbook products (including some from Acer) complaining hither long boot up times, slow performance etc.. I asseverative to try this unit. So far it has exceeded my expectations in every way (keeping in mind that it is a netbook and not a mini-laptop). In factually several times I have found my wife favoring it one more time her newer HP laptop. Stunning netbook much better value than a 10"
I was quite happy with my 10.1" Asus 1001P-PU17 but I cracked the motion pictures while on vacation and need a replacement fast. While browsing Amazon I noticed this Acer was a bigger paravent, more RAM and a bigger HD (320GB vs 250GB Asus) another big extra was Windows 7 Home Premium instead of Windows starter for justifiable a few dollars more than the Asus sell for. I am bloody happy with it so far. It is actually lighter and thinner than the Asus and the battery soul is about 6hrs (which is less than the Asus so that is the one compromise I made). The shield is very crisp and Netflix looks really starkly. Highly recommended and this time I bought undesigned protection for $25 through Safeware. The only antagonistic is the glossy case - I would have much preferred something textured that does not show up smudges.

Definitely nice laptop
I've only been using this laptop for a few days. But it's a champion. Great screen, speakers,keyboard,webcam,sheerest easy to set up. Windows 7 is a snap to use. (I've been using Vista, ahead of that XP Pro and XP.)The laptop comes with 4gb of ram. I ordered two 4gb. to increase the ram to 8gb. I set the upgrade here on Amazon for only $29. That's chintzy enough. I would recommend Acer to anyone that wants a seemly computer that doesn't cost a lot of money.

Best clothes value at $379.
After looking at laptops for sundry months I finally settled on this little attractiveness. This is my first laptop and I have fallen in love with it. I wanted a organization to use "Push 2 TV" with and kiss my cable bill goodbye and I did legitimate that. Life is good! Caught this Acer on on sale at Micro Center for $379 and I couldn't be happier. If you're conclusion about this one, get it. You won't be sorry especially at $379.

Horrendous Deal
I bought this laptop a year ago. My laptop died and I needed a new one facile. Money was tight and so I shopped around(big box stores, online, etc...) and I kept coming repudiate to this one. I love this computer it exceeded my expectations. I waited a year to reading because I feel this is the best way to measure how sumptuously an electronic device works. It's easy to write a sympathetic review 3 days after you bought something when it is still glittering new. This laptop took a beating and still runs prefect, not one exit. I use it for work and school everyday for at least three hours at a at intervals. Acer makes a great product at a great price. Don't let the low cost out fool you this was well worth the $500. I ran ArcGIS 9.3 (blinding version)right out of the box no problem. I also used it for form on 3d game design and 3d online worlds, not one hiccup.I bought this as a trashy stop gap measure to get me by till I got a better laptop and never traded-up.Buy This laptop.

Worthy For The Price
This is the support Acer I've bought in the last 6 months - my niece needed a computer, so I gave her my AS5253-BZ602 and got this one for myself. Both comprise been great purchases. Set-up was easy, there was some bloatware, but not an overdone amount. It runs fast and handles multi-tasking hale. The screen resolution is very good, as are the speakers. This laptop has two, which is an progress over my old Acer's one. There are 3 USB ports but no HDMI, which I don't brain, but some might.One odd note: numerous websites dignified that the memory is DDR3 1066MHz but mine came with 3 GB of DDR3 1333MHz RAM.Summing up, this computer is ripping for basic use and at $350, a real bargain.

you absolutely cant go wrong
I bought this computer as a unimportant computer to augment my online business, because I incline to overdrive processor speeds with too much m all at once. This has now become my primary work computer as it is not exclusively faster but more reliable when processing gigantic files than my netbook computer is. This computer patently handles downloading large files while zipping other files, 2 internet browsers and my email patron at the same time, with little to no slowdowns!

Cardinal value
Ignoring being one of the more affordable computers out there, Acer is one of my favorites. I've had Dell, HP, Toshiba and Acer notebooks, but my Acer has outlasted the Dell and the HPs (with HP being the worst). The battery survival isn't the best, but that really isn't a problem for me. I don't feel like I extremity to go out and blow a lot of money on a laptop when Acers are perfectly hard-wearing and long-lasting.

Significant computer, better than sony vaio but the done price
I took a eat one's heart out time when deciding which laptop to go with and am Entirely VERY happy with my decision. Originally I was prevalent to go with the Sony Vaio, which is by no means a bad computer. After talking to some friends 3/4 suggested the acer terminated the Vaio because of the screen size and quality. I don't about I know anybody who's had real issues besides the battery with an Acer Aspire. I dearest the keyboard and the mouse could use some improvement, but no complaints since I suffer with a USB one anyways. Would buy another Aspire in a heartbeat!

A Spectacular Laptop for the Home.
I hatred to see companies cut the battery so much to save on weight, but that is what I see has happened here. For its size and price tag this laptop is incredibly bird-brained, but it also dies at around 4 hours. After awhile of use that whim be sub 4 hours. Other than that, I can't complain to much adjacent to it performance for a budget laptop. It is faster than I expected, but technology moves as such. It is cordial of built with last year technology though. USB 2.0 weakness 3.0 and no Bluetooth. But as far as it should perform for the price I finish feeling that it succeeds. The battery, being the main obstacle, will prevent this from being use to much, or active to far away from a plug.

I bought 2 of these laptops to transmit to people i tested them before handing them past these laptops it boots very fast and shuts down perfectly as quickly not much bloat ware and comes with Skype and Microsoft responsibility pre loaded received no complaints at all from those that received it precisely ordered another and 2 different brands ones for testing, for the payment its worth it, not much to complain about.
