Excluding Story...An Eternity of Gaming!
Decent like its most recent predecessors, and , the campaign scrap of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a really fun game with extremely intense fracas sequences. The downfall is that it's very very short. So let me start by saying that if you're not set up to, or you just don't intend to, join in the online co-op or multiplayer modes, you really want to conceive of twice before paying full price for this victim. Ok, so no one plays the throw mode... except me.
My Sophistication:Being I am an OG, from the 70's my reaction times are slowing down and I be informed it. I actually enjoy the campaign modes in these games. Which is why I am giving it a 2 idol. I am sure people will blast me because the MULTIPLAYER IS WHERE ITS AT MAN!!! OMGWTROXXORZ.!11. On the eve of I begin, I must note that I have rented both the PS3 and 360 versions of this engagement and played them extensively. While I am still up in the air on which type I will end up buying, the only reason I am reviewing the PS3 adaptation versus the 360 version is because this is the rendition I am leaning towards buying. However my reasons obtain nothing to do with differences with the game between the two systems. For all mundane purposes, the two versions are identical and there is no need to procession the 360 version as well. Beyond question one of the best games ever!
COD4 is yea one of the best first person shooter games. You can perform upon the story mode which takes you through an without a scratch war, with a detailed and intriguing story, and has many singular styles of play. Some stages will ask for straight gun fights, while others will demand you to be stealth and snipe your enemies from afar.The pre-eminent thing about this game is the Multiplayer aim. This is such a great feature as it extends the play one's part value of the game. In most games, once you hammer the story mode, there is hardly any reason to dramatize again. however, in multiplayer mode, you will be playing with other gamers thither the world online, for free, and get to eliminate each other. The Pretend That Sold Me on the PS3
This is the line of work that made me decide to buy a PS3. I'd only had a Wii earlier, and figured that was enough. Then for Christmas one of my friends bought this for himself as a "propinquitous" along with a PS3, and invited me over to play it. The point in time it started up I realized I needed to get this game.The cinematics and graphics honestly are top-notch. Even though it's an older game by now (the next Call of Duty is already slated to sack in less than a month), this still holds up magnitude many of the newer games coming out. I dare you not to oust your jaw when you go through the "Shock and Awe" level...by a hair's breadth amazing.The gameplay is really easy to get ahold of. I'd without exception been a fairly loyal Nintendo fan, so I hadn't played a lot of Pre-eminent Person shooters, but within 20 minutes or so I was blowing completely the easy difficulty. The game does ramp up considerably for the hardcore press though, so if you really want to put your skills to the examination, this is the game for...

One of the Kindest Shooters Out There
If you lady-love playing Unreal or Halo, this game want probably catch you off guard. However, in the recent breaker of "realistic" shooters, COD4 really seems to take the congeal. The story mode is enthralling through most of the missions. If you haven't played numerous next-gen games before this, you'll likely challenge through the first mission with your jaw on the confuse. The game looks very detailed and gameplay is pleasant and entertaining.Even as good as the one-player missions are, the genuine reason for buying this or most shooters is for the online frisk. You'll find plenty of opponents waiting online in one of the assorted gameplay types. Online games range from 4-18 players depending on the SOP, and it has a big effect. Smaller games will make you have a a little more adrenaline because you don't know where the next contestant is going to jump out. Why pay $59.99 for this?
This anthology is Modern Warfare 1 and 2 and nothing more or less than that. You can buy both of these games one by one these days for $19.99 or less, so why spend $60 on this? Do yourself a favor and buy the games independently and save yourself $20 which you can put towards MW3 or something else. When I purchased this omnium gatherum it was only $29.99. I don't know why its been jacked up since then.

Famed package now that it has been patched!
This is a spectacular way to get both of these games at a reasonable price. As others stated COD4 is the red package greatest hits edition but that shouldn't bug you unless you're like Loosely friar and have some kind of disorder...definitely recommended.Update 03-11-2011 Since they patched it the engagement is now playable again!! Hopefully no more hacking for a bit.

Hacked, hacked, hacked, and hacked. *Unblinking*
In their earlier days, these games were perfect. I bought them both when they came out, and I would would rather rated them 5 stars. But this combo give up the ghost is aimed at new players... if you are buying this for the isolated player campaign, then go for it. Know each push is very short, and you would be done with both games in peradventure 12-14 hours total. But the story is awesome, and I enjoyed them.If you are buying it to deprecate online, then STAY AWAY. These games are hacked beyond axiom. There is no end in sight for all of this either. Hackers be suffering with literally raped these games, and they are unrecognizable now. Players are veiled, invincible... have unlimited ammo, and now aimbots from been introduced too.STAY AWAY. its too late for these games.Condense: I know that MW2 was patched, so they are finally gone! What can I if possible say that the previous reviews have not already covered? The beginning COD4: Modern Warfare raised the bar for total immersive first person diversion play, and the on-line multiplayer mode most certainly contributed to the blanket success and popularity of this now classic game. Like multitudinous, I wondered how in world could Infinity Ward rectify on an already near perfect game? Modern Warfare 2 is the answer to that query. I'm sure I could sit here and write a lengthy survey about every cool new aspect of the game, but you exceptionally just have to experience it for yourself. Newcomers to this franchise leave be blown away, and will no doubt be exhilarated by this gaming episode. It Absolutely is worth it.
Man this pastime is absolutely awesome, I truly see what all the big fuss is in. I have never played Call of Duty before but if those games in the one-time is 1/4 as good as this then they're grand too. I'm not really into 1st person shooters but this is the maximum effort there is. The graphics are so realistic, it looks like you're playing a silver screen instead of a video game the weapons, voice-overs and missions are unspoiled. And the multi-player is absolutely perfect I can't find anything neutralizing about this game. I was always taught if you participate in nothing nice to say don't say it at all. But I have nothing but nice things to say. I choose definitely recommend this to anybody who's looking for a 1st yourselves shooter. Its like Call of Duty 4....but twice as beneficent.
What can i say.....with this artifice its all about the multiplayer....and it totally delivers. it has sooo numberless new things. you get points for saving a friend/avenging a concubine/ long distance kill and so many other things. it feels like its easier to court in a way. shotguns are now you secondary weapon...nuff saidBUY IT

All right Done! Well Done!
I entertain been reading all the other reviews over the history few days and some of them made me wonder if the game was value it or it was gonna be a dud. I was really worried about the aspect correspondence in the coop mode. I was worried about the online fool around. I was worried about the scoring system. I was worried that a profession I really enjoyed, Call of Duty 4, was going to be tainted by a bad artifice. WoW was I ever glad to be wrong.Let me tell you about Call of Duty: Epoch at War.Its realistic. Its honest. Its brutal. Its massive. Its haunting. Its tumultuous. Its mind-numbingly astonishing. Its everything COD4 introduced and caboodle COD4 could not be. It hits home. It makes you appreciate the monster our men faced during those times. It makes you recognize that war is not pretty, its evil and sick; and the landscapes, buildings and unsophistical surroundings are just as deadly as the people that pelt in them.For those of you who have ragged on this high-spirited I think your nuts...

One of the overwhelm FPS games ever
COD WaW is way unique than COD4. The first thing you notice is the grainy (all but Sepia) quality of the graphics. That said, the cut scenes and the graphics are happier that COD4. Unlike anything made by Ubisoft or Fanciful (IMHO their games blow), this games smokes all of the match.Cooperative play is an interesting new feature to the COD series. You can margin in split-screen mode with another contestant. Basically, it's solo mode for two (if that makes any intelligence). If your comrade is injured, your give birth to to find him and administer first-aid otherwise you both die. I suffer with 2 HDTVs and 2 PS3s and sprung for a second copy so my son and I can play cooperatively. It's indeed cool playing zombie in cooperatiive play. Oh yeah, don't dismiss from one's mind to get your raygun in the second level. Check youtube for some honourable glitches -- especially the one on the second floor in zombie vogue (bring a flamethrower and an LMG). Cooperative play on a smaller screens upstanding doesn't work...

Kindest Video Game Ever Created
I've been playing video games since the late 1970s when "Pong" was all that was elbow. Throughout the years, I've owned many video ploy systems, including the Atari 2600, Colecovision, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Playstation, Xbox and now a PS3. I've played sundry different games over the course of those years and nothing, and I menial NOTHING, compares to "Call of Duty: World at War."Simply put, it is the best video match ever created, and it keeps getting better. Since it was released in tardy 2008, Activision has offered several downloadable upgrades that make additional map areas and additional games. There are so assorted aspects to this game that it never gets long-drawn-out. It can be played in a solo mode where the player battles through various WWII battleground sequences as either an American or a Russian, it could be played online in different "versus" modes, and then there is the "Nazi Zombie" modes which lie in their own the world at large apart from the other offerings of this nickname...
