Well Recommended item!!! - Beats custom car pleasure system
This Dvd Light player is a pleasant suprise.... it is the best product one can would rather in a vehicle. I know because I have gone during two Dvd Players previously and thinking of custom made performance center until now. This Dual Dvd Player can actually take advantage of TWO DIFFERENT DVDS ON 2 SCREENS AT THE SAME TIME (my 5 year old demoiselle and 4 year old boy have settled the feud on who watches Barbie and Iron Man....like, forever);or if wanted IT CAN Vie with ONE DVD ON TWO SCREENS AT THE SAME TIME (by hooking the wire to each other). Cancel from the mind you this is Philips PD 7016 which came into the market hardly few months ago.......and not PD7012 ( I almost got the wrong one during my settling on). The volume is extraordinarily loud such that the FM Car Transmitter I ordered intending to affix the Dvd speakers to the Car Stereo is of no use to me....because the little speakers on the superd players are whoopers! It starts playing from where it stopped, smooth after you must have turned it off for an entire day...

Soundness in a Box.....
This is a exact nicely designed product. Appearance of the case is top shelf. The video and audio calibre is VERY good even on the 'remote' or slave pomp and the viewing angle is wide enough that it is effortlessly to see from the middle seat.Despite some of the Philips documentation mentioning to do some features with the 'recondite control', the product does not come with one nor beget I found one available to purchase as an accessory.The product is fully featured and does all the things you would wish it to. You can even adjust the brightness on each display from dim-med-beaming. HOWEVER- when you attempt to adjust the brightness on the 'fag' unit, it displays that this is "not available". And it seems to fault the slave unit to 'dim'. BUT- if you take it out of slave mode, set the brightness and then put it servants' in slave mode it will keep your brightness background. Not fatal, but one wonders why they did that.....The headrest straps direction through 2...

Utter adequate
Solely purchased this for installing in a new van which has no entertainment method. With these kinds of players and screens, there is unendingly going to be a preponderance of wires, so keep that in overlook. If you don't care about all the wires hanging about the section, this is truly a neat product. DVD-playing adeptness is normal, nothing to distinguish from other players. Gifted For The Kids On Long Trips
Well-founded tested the DVD players on a two hour ride. Works marvellously and easy to set up. I like the fact that that the player remembers where it leftist off so you don't have to restart the movie from the beginning. The units can be powered either by cigarette lighter (both players) or madden outlet (for one player). And the straps for the vehicle head rests m just fine. Overall, I am pleased with this artefact.

Basic product for the price!
I recently purchased this particular after much researching and reading reviews of other similiar products. I was hoping for for portable Dvd players for my sons (ages 3 1/2 and 7) for our sustained ride on vacation.These are great! They were Decidedly easy to hook up. The actual screens fit very fine around the headrests and were perfect for viewing by my sons. My oldest son (age 7) was accomplished to work the entire thing independently including changing dvds. Loudness and picture are great. Each screen has individual amount and brightness controls. I love the fact that after turning off/on the car, the dvd starts where you fist off. That is a nice feature that alot of other players do not partake of. Great product and exactly what we were looking for!

Altogether pleased!
I bought these to maintain my 2 year old twins on longer trips. I have had them for a yoke of months now and I really can't complain. They have a adept picture quality and can be connected to a TV (which was great when we were on vacation). It is geographically come to pass they only work when plugged in. There is no stored battery, but that has not been an difficulty for me. My only wish is that it came with a abstracted. It is impossible to restart a movie while I am driving. They were good the $119 I spent. (Best Buy on sale)

The PLRD is a Stupendous PRODUCT & Highly Reccomended
I bought the PLRD-92 and I attired in b be committed to to say, that it DOES have a built in IR Transmitter. I bought a set of wireless headphones and they profession GREAT. the sound quality is excellent, even to the Air thru the built in FM Transmitter. I contacted PYLE earlier to making this purchase and they told me that the component DOES come with built in IR Transmitter. I don't be aware of why people here on Amazon reviews are saying otherwise. You do compel ought to to keep in mind that wireless headphones ONLY drudgery when they are in-front of the unit, not behind it. it is a safeness feature to keep people from using the wireless heaphones while driving. The side with the LED lights on this element should be facing back, because it is on that side of the portion that the IR sensors are located. The signal to the headphones is automatically unattached when the headphones go past the point where the IR sensor is located. again, ITS A Sanctuary FEATURE. Crucial Versitile Player
I've had dulcet good luck with Pyle players. This segment has worked really well for me. A great product for the cost and can be installed with nothing other that power run to the player. I didn't suffer with any problem mounting it to the roof in my mini van (one reviewer mentioned that screws were too prove inadequate. While it might be a bit easier with longer screws, depending on the devise of your car's roof, longer screws might be a fine kettle of fish). I tried the IR audio transmitter once and it seemed to line okay. I almost exclusively use the FM transmitter and route the tough through the car stereo. I have almost had no problems (signal cogency has been fine, but a couple of times the FM transmitter mysteriously stopped working. A power off and retreat from on of the unit fixed it both times though).My favorite kisser is the ability to read data video files off of CD, DVD, SD take action, or USB memory. That means I can load up a DVD-R with 4 or 5 divX movies or pop in a recollection card and be good...

Perceptive product, but with one key improvement, they would be Momentous
Premier off, I really like these units and they fritz and look great just as long as you use the DVD player for each small screen individually. The real disappointment comes into space when connecting the two units together to play the still and all video. The fact that the product uses analog connectivity and merely comes with a 3 foot long AV cable is its ruin. Now, don't get me wrong, this may work out fine for you if you plan on attaching the screens on side by side headrests in the just the same row. But if you have a vehicle (such as a van), where there is the possiblity of someone tripping on this line or, as in my particular install, you would like to have one telly in the middle row and the other in the rear row, then this is not temperate possible with this cable. The second and align equalize more disppointing aspect of connecting the units is a effect of this product relying on an analog connection. Because it is analog (and not digital), you wish also need to accept picture degradation from the constituent...

Pleasantly surprised- unexpected extra!
We were pregnant a decent picture from these based on prior reviews, but I wasn't expecting the single 12V plug that powers both units, leaving me a slender outlet for GPS/cell phone use. Of course, if you're planning to use one player in carrier A and the other in vehicle B, then this might be an unpleasant dumfound. As reviewers on other sites have mentioned, the sturdy quality produced by the built-in speakers is not spectacular, but since the with few exceptions point of owning these units is to preserve mom and/or dad's reasonableness then you'll surely be adding two pairs of headphones/earbuds. We ordered two pairs of to sidestep the yuck factor of sharing earbuds and are well happy with the combination. Shocking for the son and daughter that fight over what to lookout
Hooking up these units was merest easy if not intuitive. The kids both enjoyed being expert to watch the same thing on both screens. Then when the plea over what to watch occurred they could really pop in their own movie and watch what they each wanted to see severally by just unhooking the video cable connecting the units. The at best reason I did not give them five stars was the shortage of IR headphone support, but I guess the reason for them not having this functionality is that their influence be sound signal bleed if the kids are watching two personal movies. All in all great picture quality and would vouch for buying over the single dvd units with good a separate monitor for the other viewer.

Worst portable DVD player mounting system!
I searched leading and low for exactly this product - and the price can't be beat!I bought one of those Victim Logic cases, but it was bulky, hard to set up and opened halfway - so the dvd player kept sliding and my son, in his car buttocks, couldn't see it. Real pain.This case is a incomparable fit for my Sony DVP FX 970, the screen swivels and so I can slip it into this proves.My only reservation was that the control buttons on the DVD player are indeed sensitive and they are inside the casing, I was worried that hitting bumps in the means might knock the dvd out of commission (starting it, stopping, fastened forward, menu, etc.) ...but was pleasantly surprised that it didn't. The sensible was still good (despite that the speakers for the player are subsumed under the mesh).This is really lightweight - no velcro - they are buckles that liven up. cheezy, but works....grade of.
I participate in a 2011 Toyota Sienna and the headrest is a bit too tall and underweight for the straps to stay on. I had to add a couple thick rubber bands to fare the straps narrower on the headreast to make it stay put. That makes the center of it bow out on the way the back. It really fits the sony dvp-fx970 by a long way.
