Hurried review of the Epic 4g Touch
- Updated 10/19/11 -This is by far the paramount phone I have ever used. My previous phone is a EVO 4g so luckily i got renewed after a year. This is my own individual review based on experiences with my EVO 4g, my friends's ip4 and this Epic 4g have to do with.By far, Epic 4g touch wins by a mile.Initial impressions:1. Its luminosity as hell!!!!! it feels like you're holding a toy or a sham phone (this may be good or bad depending on the user, it's in fact good for me)2. The size is good enough for me but then again it depends on how big your hands are.3. The colors are extremely very VERY vibrant, it really stands out from all angles.4. It is delicate smooth, SILKY SMOOTH. the OS has no lag at all, i tried a pinch to zoom check-up for the ip4 and epic 4g touch and surprisingly, the epic 4g is so much more intelligent.5. Video camera is on par if not better with Ip4.6. Touchwiz has a lot of sensitive functions and the widgets are very nice.7...

I beloved it!
Got this phone on the 16th. Here are a few things that I like and disfavour:likes:1. speed2. screen3. build (feels like a toy? are you kidding me?) this phone is so upon in weight but don't confuse that as a poor build grade. If you want a phone built like a tank and weighs like one by all means prefer a different phone. finish and fit are beautifully done!4. camera (8m + LED flickering). The pictures are sharp and focused. I like using retro camera and small-minded photo. Even the front camera is awesome.5. Gingerbread is presumptuous and stable (no force close so far)6. Google integration. Pristine7. GOOD and corporate email integration. Flawless8. GPS and Google Map. works absolutely.9. audio (had to adjust the EQ to make it right)I'm rockin'10. wifi (works adroit)11. print Screen!!!! yes!! (deeply+power) finally!12. cold boot sometimes... fast (this is handy when you modulate out the battery and power back up...

Unreservedly blown away by this phone!
I got this phone the day it was released via overnight shipping and be dressed been using it ever since (about a week now)- I demand been utterly impressed with the device! I switched from a sort of dated and rooted original Motorola Droid on Verizon and I couldn't be happier.Pros:-The Wonderful AMOLED (Active matrix organic light emitting diode), which is the newest affectionate of display technology, absolutely blows any other flourish away in terms of contrast and color saturation. The 4.5'' diagonal wall off on this beast is an absolute pleasure to look at, and it's more competent than an LCD to boot! I've read a lot of reviews whining close to the marginally lower resolution on this screen compared to qHD screens; what a tease, this screen makes every other gadget around it look washed out and dated... uninterested serious- you'll completely forget about resolution the shake you power it up- and it has far superior response times!-Processor- underneath the grand screen lies a...

...you say 'cheapskate', I say 'hand to mouth'
I was beside to return this phone because Verizon wanted a $45 facts plan just to activate it; then I read the clever comments by Chuck Homic.Opening the package, I saw the ESN/MEID HEX printed on the box. I held down the power button until the PALM obscure lit up on-screen. It took a while for it to boot up. The phone tried twice to postpone a summon Verizon and activate itself, to no avail. On another phone, I called the Sheet Plus Cellular toll-free number and gave them the Pixi's MEID and the phone count that I wanted ported from my active, prepaid Verizon phone. They gave me a 'Principal Package' 6-digit activation code to dial from Pixi, and said that Verizon is large quick to release your old number and to call overdue renege when they have done so.It took around an hour or so that the old cell number stopped ringing the old phone, indicating that it had been ported. In called-for to dial the activation code on the Pixi, you first bustle the little phone symbol...

Accomplished Entry Smartphone, Not good for intense users.
I bought this Palm Pixi Together with to replace a failing Palm Pre Plus. My biggest beef about the Pre Plus was its keyboard, it was hard to use, and keys instances failed. It was my third Pre, and I still have time on my compress, so even though I want to switch to an Android based phone, I chose to go with this because the figure (where as an Android phone would be much more dear).Positives:So far, my experience with the Palm Pixi Added has been much better than the Palm Pre Plus. The armaments seems to be built a little better (no sliding affecting parts), the keyboard is much easier to use and is responsive (in all events, my "R" key needs to be pushed a little harder than the others to counter. Even though it "clicks", it won't type until you crush just a little bit more. Still MUCH larger than my Pre.) I like the size of the Pixi outstrip than the Pre as I'm not a fan of having a huge smart phone.I one really use the device to receive e-mail, check venereal...

DO NOT BUY FROM THE OEM Blow the whistle on buy
Hairy phone, The OEM Shop stinks! This item advertised as new was not in manufacturers packaging, also included no manuals. Entered ##786# to arouse out if phone is truly new as-advertised. It is not, it's a refurb that I could cause gotten cheaper elsewhere. I ordered the Palm Pixi Together with and the Stereo Headphones together but didn't receive headphones, emailed The OEM Seek, 5 days later. no response. Called their listed # 718-362-2255 and it's out of air force. Just noticed that only one speaker is working. You get what you pay for but I paid for new. I judge I lost $55 here as I'm afraid to return and flatulence up losing all I have to show for this deal which is the refurbed semi-operating phone. Given the ethics of The OEM Shop I wonder if should be anxious about having my identity stolen when using this heraldic bearing.Nice phone, The OEM Shop stinks!Enter ##786# to over if your "new" phone is refurbed.

A fastidious phone, good battery life, snappy and entire size.
I theretofore had an iPhone 3G, I loved that phone but it broke and I wasn't at one's fingertips to sign a new contract so I moved to Virgin Mobiles Optimus V. I liked that phone as it was my word go step into the android world. I then bought (and returned) a Motorola Glory win which was supposed to be a good phone but it failed. I then when all is said decided to step up to the Galaxy S2 and while it's only been a few days I'm Dialect right pleased.Battery life:I started my day out yesterday circa 5:30 am, as I drove to work I had a video podcast playing on the phone and that ran for round 30 minutes during my commute. I got to work and then started playing a smidgen with the phone but mainly using it for web browsing and listening to Audio the overage of the day. I did play some words with friends, downloaded a few new apps from the call and showed off the phone and by 1:30 pm I was at 60% battery life. Not bad to at worst use 40% in 8 hours. At that rate it's approx 5% battery per hour which tells...

Galaxy S II versus iPhone 4S? Can't go amiss with either
After being an iPhone / iOS narcotic addict for a year and a half and as an Android / Atrix user for sole 6 months (thankfully without a contract extension), I hardened that saved upgrade subsidy on getting a SGS2. After following the craze reviews overseas about it, and after enjoying the developer comradely Android OS, I figured this would be the phone I would use for the next few years. Blanket, it is an absolute gem of a phone that has little nuances here and there. When compared to an Atrix 4G, it's categorically night and day. All the hype over Samsung's AMOLED Extra screen is no joke. The colors are absolutely brilliant in match to Motorola's Pentile display. Moving about the filter is silky smooth, with no lag at all. Going back to the Atrix, you can blow the whistle on the motion from screen to screen just isn't as catholic. The camera differences are amazing different, both in pictures and in video. Color in the pictures infatuated by the SGS2 is just much crisper and deeper, especially with moonless...

Next to perfect phone
My inception foray into the smartphone world has my friends to the nth degree jealous. I have played around with other people's smartphones for years, and not under any condition saw one as close to perfect as this one is. Great battery subsistence, beautiful screen, wickedly fast processor (has set a in confidence in quadrant benchmark), decent reception and call attribute, and a strong gps that locks on my indoor location sedate in windowless rooms without the assistance of wireless networks! At hand the only thing that is missing is an LED notification switch on, but that is easily remedied with the Marketplace App "NoLED," which does the magic nicely. I have also used the very buggy Epic 4G Lean up against on Sprint, and the form factor on this phone is great -- not too big and classically simple aesthetics.

relaxed for phone calls, texting so-so
I got this phone a few weeks ago because my smartphone had too profuse quirks and I have several months before I can upgrade. It works immense for phone calls. Answering and disconnecting calls is so light to do, no sliding like with the android. But as far as texting it is not the most talented. I like larger buttons and that is why I wanted a skid out keyboard. But the buttons are too small to easily text. I also noticed that the protection is not as sensitive to touch as it should be. Trying to get something on the riddle to move or work can be frustrating because it takes some energy to manipulate, move, whatever. The battery is not as bad as some reviewers acquire stated. It lasts a couple of days with rational use. It is NOT a smartphone so don't expect it to be. But, all-in-all, I give it a B overall.

BlackBerry Curve 8330 Cell Phone 3G Smartphone Verizon (PINK)CDMA

BlackBerry RIM
$0.00
$45.93

Customer Reviews

It rocks!
Hello,I am surprised to comprehend the other reviews of this great product.Firstly, let me depose, this is a new Blackberry curve 8330 in mint working mould.Yes, when it came it did not have a lot of features etc on it, like apps, facility to set up multiple emails, etc. I had to just call Verizon to set it up, and they made me update the software on it, and caboodle was all set in seconds. It had ability to set up several emails, had a browser, camera, video recorder, media jock, voice memo recorder, some basic games, blackberry nuncio, memo pad, alarm clock, ability to set my own ring intonation (which I cant do on my iPhone), etc.1) Myths from reviews:- Yes it is a CDMA phone, not a GSM phone. So to the spanish novelist's comments, if you cant read english, then thats not the spin-off's or the seller's problem. It clearly states in the description "Verizon Stylish phone" and Verizon is CDMA>- It doesnt have a browser! LOL...

This can be a fit phone if ordered from the right people.
I've be familiar with over a lot of reviews, and spent about three days taxing to decide if I wanted to purchase this phone or not. Done, I did, and it's a pretty good little phone. I've noticed a lot of adversarial reviews are from those that ordered this that alight outside of the country (CDMA doesn't work there), those that don't cotton on to that this phone doesn't come with a pigeon-hole for an SD card, or don't understand that this is a VERIZON phone and that the performers doesn't use a "sim" card. Also, anytime you purchase anything from a seller on Amazon, you indeed need to check out the reviews for that business. My direction of thumb for electronics is that I rarely, if ever, buy anything hardened, and the seller that I choose has to have a 97%-100% certain rating. 95/96% is pushing it, but sometimes if there are no other options, such as with this ingredient, I'll select one with these ratings. Also, in no way ever EVER buy a cell phone or other electronic widget refurbished or used from these...
