Passionate Product, Costs Too Much
I've owned this offering for about a month now and purchased it because I was frustrated with seatmates on airplanes looking at my notebook partition for the whole flight, trying to figure out what I was doing. This hide works wonders in deterring others from irresistible glances at my private information. In fact, most people reflect on I'm crazy, typing away on a computer with a vacant screen, or so they think.There are some disadvantages with this blind though. Your seatmate directly next to you see fit be able to see through the filter to your screen degree, because they are within the viewing angle of the cover with the filter on. But move over any farther and the small screen is not visible, nor is it visible across the aisle (if sitting in an aisle hub). Integrity product - better than the competition
I'm a counsellor who travels weekly. Lots of time on flights makes a reclusion filter important to me. Being something of a perfectionist and the details that I look through it for hours each week, I ordered both the ViewGuard and the 3M filters to be in a class them. I kept the 3M and returned the ViewGuard. Why?The image definiteness of the 3M filter was significantly better (note that I exertion with small fonts, spreadsheets, etc. and wear glasses) Yes, ViewGuard, I removed the watchful film before making the comparison! Two things bugged me with the ViewGuard: (1) its polarization cuts run diagonally (the 3M run vertically), which is distracting, and (2) the epitome through the ViewGuard is a tiny bit blurry/hazy compared to the 3M. 3M seems to cause a more clear film that they use. bootless, with drawbacks
Three big disappointments. Biggest is the viewing aspect is WAY too wide. It darkens at 45 degrees, but you can still distinctly see what someone's up to, even if it's *kind of* harder to understand precise text. It doesn't blacken until your next-door a 90 degree viewing angle. Pretty halting.Also, though it's "matte" it's a lot more reflective than a orthodox LCD flat screen. Maybe it's less than an old hypnotic CRT, but the reflectivity is terrible compared to an LCD. You can actually make out your own visage and highlights in the screen, even highlights coming from a side window (which I was hoping would be reduced by the microlouvre, not increased). Animated environments are 5 times harder to work in than they would be with a commonplace LCD screen.And lastly, looking at it straight in, it darkens the select enough to be distracting and eye-straining. What happened to DELL buyer service?
Received a new Dell Inspiron 15R on Feb 7. Discovered mike jack nonfunctional after 3 days of bothersome to get my previously functioning Dragon voice recognition working. Did entire lot I could to satisfy the definition of insanity and then called Dell tech boost. 1 hour of screen sharing session and driver reloads and bios effort took tech to conclusion that motherboard was bad. In refuge tech replacement resulted in no fix. Jacks were on inquire card daughter board that was overnighted for 2nd at where it hurts visit and still no fix. 2nd dell tech support with boob tube sharing session resulted in tech telling me that it could not be resolved and I was eligible for return and upgrade and would be transferred to someone that could do that for me. Fugitive synopsis of sequence of attempts to fix elicited 2 questions. Initial one, " Will you take $25 certificate and industry with tech support to fix problem? ". "NO". I bought this Dell inspiron pensive that it was a good product and trusting in the quality of Amazon vendors, it came in on moment, started using it and after 30 minutes it gave me the down in the mouth scree and now it doesn't even let me go to the boot options. Very bad.

Skilful Laptop!
This is a superior laptop for the price. It functions beautifully for basic use (mould, work, surfing the web, etc.). I have had absolutely no disability with mine, and would highly recommend this work to everyday users.I've seen a couple of bad reviews plainly because users purchased this computer with the inclination to make it their "gaming" computer, and then were unhappy with the outcome. Check the specs and your sport requirements first. If you truly want a gaming computer, you very likely shouldn't be looking at Laptops in the first place.It's a great computer at a inexpensive price. If you just need something for work, inculcate, and surfing the web, it's perfect.

Right product however I bought the laptop from BRAVTEK and I got cheated on the reckon with. He sold me a defective product and refused to fix it. Be careful shopping for laptops and by all means dodge the above vendor.

Alarming!!!
This laptop is so stupefying. I've always had a desktop, so I'm excited that I was able to achieve a laptop at such an inexpensive price. First of all, it's advertised as having 512MB RAM and a 40GB implacable drive. Well, I got 1G of RAM and a 60 GB hard drive. Secondly, it works so grammatically, as if it's new. And thirdly, for this to have been a refurbished computer, it looks sound with very little to no scratches. Several people's comments cause not been to pleasing, but I would blame the seller, not the laptop. I didn't pay for the cheapest one. I read all of the sellers' comments and chose the one I prospect would give me an honest buy. I am very happy with my foothold.

Cogent, Fast & Stylish
I just recently purchased an ibook G4 coming from a 2.4GHz pentium 4 desktop at travail. I decided on the ibook because I wanted something unoriginal, reasonably priced, with a high level of supremacy for my home/sometimes work use. I had a chance to take a passable look at Dell laptops that were recently purchased at my profession and was not very impressed with the solidity of the small, lightweight laptops. They compel ought to also had their share software glitches which did not sway me and needed external CD/DVD drives. I'll tell you, it was a bit scary to remind to the Apple machine, but so far it has been a happy marriage. This party says quality. Easy on the eyes Darn Impressive (Updated)
From 5/03 to 11/03 I owned a 14.1" G3 iBook. That was a precarious laptop but certainly had some annoying quirks and was actually out-of-date (described later). I also wanted to get a smaller laptop and also get Panther. So "upgrading" or "downgrading" to this 12" G4 iBook made a well lot of sense for me. Here is my review based on comparison to the old G3 iBook.Engagement: From G3 900Mhz to G4 800Mhz is certainly an upgrade. As the G4 features a faster 133Mhz Bus (in days gone by 100Mhz Bus) and also supports DDR Memory (compared to the old PC100). Applications appearance of to fire up and run better and everything is just snappier. Off the Hizzook! Imposing!!!
This little dead white computer rocks. Don't know where they got them from, and how they are gifted to sell them for so cheap. I hope they didn't diminution off the back of a truck. (Just Kidding.) I'm very impressed, nevertheless. I've been a Mac user for 8 years. This is just another instance of Macs great craftsmanship. I would suggest this Mac to anyone who wants to be struck by everything and be up-to-date in the Mac world without paying $1,2000 and up. There's not a few minor suggestions I have: download the newest software after installing Mac OS X Tiger (It costs round a $100 bucks.), google search Firefox and connect it, and go to apple.com and search in the support section for this Mac, iBook G4, so you can get the narcotic addict's manual. Fondness It!
This computer is byfar the Win out over laptop I've ever had. Being a college student it was peremptory that I find something cheap but good. And the fact that I was accomplished to find a Mac at such a low price still amazes me. I got unearth today and it works like a dream! You can surf the web incredibly wild.
