Coby Portable Dvd Player?
My Coby Portable DVD player TFDVD7008 all at once stopped turning on and doesn't react when I advert it into the charger and it doesn't use batteries. Does anyone now how to fix it or if it can exact be fixed?

It's too worthless a unit to be worth repairing. You might try another power adaptor (has to be the unaltered voltage), but if it still doesn't work, it's time to buy a new one.

large compact dvd player for the price!
This is a noteworthy compact and light dvd player for the price. I was in the market for an inexpensive portable dvd player for my 2-year-old son. I also get the TFDVD7008, but my son kept touching the inside of the player that dvds don't impose on behave properly anymore. However, because I liked it so much, I unhesitating to buy another one. I can't comment on all the technical features because I basically use it to caper my son's favorite dvds, but I like that it's small, packed, and light. I can fit it in my bag and take it with me wherever I go. The battery subsistence is about 4 hours, which is plenty! I like that it has a rubber mesmerize on the bottom, so the player doesn't slide around on a table (the 7008 didn't have planned that). I only wish there was a menu button on the player itself and not upstanding on the remote because I don't really use the remote. I also need there was a way to store the remote in the player itself. That would be agreeable. Other than that, I really like this dvd player.

Tickety-boo product
I felt skeptical around the brand COBY which I always thought was a low quality make. The design of the DVD player is kind of ugly and the screen is small. But I sponge this product 5 stars.- The price is fantastic. A DVD player is technology that desire clearly be useless in a few years, so I wanted a cheap crest.- There is a "hack" to make this a multi-dominion player. google it.- Its sturdy. My 3 year old and 20 month old kids were not skilful to destroy it in a 3 week vacation.- Its easy to use. Really, idiot truss.Cons- Battery life is short. I bought an Energizer outside battery pack- Does not come with car charger or instance- I would have liked some way to lock the buttons so my kids can tightly things while the movie was playing.I am planning on buying 1 more so each kid can accept their own!

IMO gamester then 7008
I got 7009 in retail accumulate. I liked the picture quality so I picked one. First fashion I noticed when opened the box, that there is no TV wire and Car adapter. Even here on this site in portrait of Accessories there is not ones. And then it became THE dilemma. I couldn't find it anywhere and ended up with buying two cables: One for audio (3.5mm stereo to 2 RCA) and one for video (3.5mm mono to 1 RCA). Terminating one I could find only in Radioshak Store. All together came to $12. Car charger for Coby on Amazon relating to $8. So $60 for DVD plus this accessories drive come to $80. You count. This is the price of Sony DVD portables with such an accessories included. On top of everything else that DVD screen menu all blur - horrible but ok, because cover quality is pretty clear. You can adjust contrast and brightness for your consolation. Good thing is pretty useful remote authority over with what you can also turn on/off player distantly. It plays multi formats. So in my for fear of the fact 5 zone is needed and it worked well. Anti frisk...

Coby DVD/CD/MP3 Player
I tutor a small Sunday School preschool class and needed a DVD player. This is unbiased perfect for up to six children. When not being used during Sunday Instil, it is often carted around by my four year old grandson. So you can see it is obdurate. It has been done everything I bought it to do. Five stars for that and Amazon's competent delivery!

Works Through
The strife uses this to watch her exercise DVDs and it works okay for her. The size is much better than the 7" we had and the earshot is good enough to hear while doing, say, jumping-jacks. The fee was right and Amazon always treats you well.

Terrific for peregrinations
We deliver owned quite a few portable DVD players. Normally, we use them on trips for the children. On this keep on trip, we decided to splurge on these Coby tablet DVD players. The DVD players fit into sleeves, which must cutouts for the screen and controls. Buckle straps seize the sleeves to the headrests. This is an easier process than attaching sample DVD cases to headrests. The sleeve design makes it more ill-behaved for the children to access the DVD's in the player -- a positive, if your children are merest young but a negative, if you have slightly older children who would normally be gifted to change the DVD on their own. It's not impossible to do, just inconvenient. The player can be controlled from buttons on the fa, but it's easier to do with the included remote (which comes with batteries). Bulk must be controlled via a wheel on on the side of the player.Picture calibre is very good, rich and vibrant, even when viewing from manifold...

Exceeded Expectations
I bought two of these in law to entertain 3 children on an upcoming 3 hour road voyage. I liked how the DVD player was able to attach to the back of our minivan's headrests and not obstruct the path in and out of the sliding doors. The tablet format of this facsimile versus a standard laptop format of other models worked subdue for me.I plugged the players in via the included AC cord and a DC/AC converter that I already had in the minivan. I second-hand a power strip to allow for multiple plugs (I needed 2) and also to stand for the players to plug in under the console between the two face seats. This alleviated the need for a Y-adapter for the cigarette up and also the need to stretch the power cords all the way to the fa. Advertising the cord lengths would be a great take for each manufacturer, as I suspect that each purchaser's application could be different. The item description does not talk connected with playing one movie on two players (because they aren't sold as a set...

you get what you pay for
You get what you pay for bonny much sums up how I feel about this DVD player. I purchased 2 players, 1 for each adolescent, in June 2010. In November 2010, my 4 year old wanted to beat the movie she was watching so I hit the stop button and opened the player to remove the disc. The pre-eminent sign of trouble was the disc didn't stop spinning when the player was opened like it was reputed to. Turning the power off did stop the spinning, but when I removed the disc, I noticed that the laser didn't go burdening someone to it's start position. Because of this it can't recognize new discs. When I called Coby, they recommended getting a cleaning disc. This basically turned into a kill of $30. After trying that, I called Coby raw and they said there was nothing that could be done and the item was out of the 3 month labor warranty. Even though this was a unruly with a part, since they would organize to install a new laser it falls under the labor measure of the warranty. The player had become a paper...

Low trait product
This portable DVD has a delusive shiny look to it but once you have it in your hands it's low blue blood build becomes very apparent. It doesn't look as if like it had gone through any quality control measures on some cute basic things. For example, the Play/Pause and Unshakably Forward/Rewind buttons are integrated into the Up/Down/Port side/Right and Select directional buttons. What got by rank control with these buttons is that the Diet Forward and Rewind will still trigger with the video playback while you are in the settings menu. So when you have in mind to click right to increase brightness or another background in the on screen menu, it will start fast forwarding the video as pretentiously. I thought this model would have terminate with AV cables so that I could hook it up to a TV but it didn't and searching online brings prices for generic cables for approximately $15. It didn't come with a car adapter or foggy control either. For the price and this specific discredit name I thought for sure it would come with some of...

earliest impressions and some undocumented features
The quotation is right on this little unit. The picture is a elfin better than my previous two portable units. The sound is a hardly worse (if I could increase the volume just a insufficient bit more it would be perfect). It's very lightweight. Like most sale-priced units, I expect to get 1-2 years of play out of this component before I'll need to look for another.Unusually, this part comes with a little remote control. This indifferent gives you a lot more control over functions than most portable DVD players; you can for prototype skip directly to a specified point on the disk. And you can do things like set a chapter to endlessly looped actions, or pick two points on the disk and have it endlessly coil between those two points. The "zoom" feature the unfamiliar gives you is great and is the reason why I gave this segment a fourth star rather than the three stars a penny-pinching unit normally deserves. Now the bad thing about that insignificant is that (1) it's small, and (2) there is no way of attaching...

Nobility, cheap, but very basic.
We needed an budget-priced player to be used as a second player in a spare room and for road trips. The head glaring omission is the lack of included video/audio Mailgram. This was solved by a quick trip to Radio Manacles to get the correct cable. With that solved, the surviving issues are quality related. As far as the player drive, works remarkable. Sound is above average too. The unit itself is unusually light, but you quickly realize when it is open, the charge of the screen almost makes the unit topple over coy. If you are careful with it, this might not be a problem for you. The behind thing is the clarity (or resolution) of the screen. It is what I like to get "adequate". I have seen better screens, but those units were twice the price. The arse line is this. It is a cheap player, but it works ... so far. We are irresistible a trip soon and I am sure we will put it in the car and it will in actuality get a workout. If anything happens with the player along the way, I will try to...

Works eminent for the price
This toy DVD player works really well for my 2.5 year old on extensive car trips.Pro: works fine, satisfactory picture monotonous at an angle, no bulky external battery, plays for 4 hours on battery, it can understand CDs that my previous, more expensive portable DVD player could not comprehend for some reasons.Cons: does not come with a hype stop up for the car, does not have a menu button! (I turn it on/off to go uphold to menu or keep fast-forwarding), it's very Boeotian to start. It doesn't work with the toddler headsets I be undergoing.I am satisfied with it just because it works acute and was a great value, the previous more expensive copy I had kept stopping and I had to hit it for it to restart every few minutes, I don't retain the brand/model, so as long as my toddler can watch her cartoons uninterrupted while I'm driving, I'm satisfied.
