Big Bang for Teensy-weensy Buck
I've no more than had my ViewSonic PJD5123 one day, which is a little premature for reviewing, but with only one rethinking posted, I thought another would be helpful. I literally made my purchase on that review's recommendation, since I could declare no others.First, let me say that my purchase was largely bonus-driven. I figured I'd have to buy a used projector, but the low price Amazon charged was the totally that caused me to bite on this brand-new one. My second criterion was that it had to calling with a Mac; it does! I did have to purchase an extra chain for my Macbook Pro unibody ($29.99 from Apple). I could take gotten a third party cable for much less (and may till do that for a backup), but the reviews on them were not as favorable as those on the Apple one.So I took the fall headlong, even paying an extra $4 (Amazon Prime) to comprise it delivered in two days. It arrived on time and I found the aggregate in the box as advertised. The written documentation is worthless, but...

The ViewSonic PJD5123 Projector is an moving and economical solution for movie viewing and PowerPoint presentations. Projecting from 25' it creates a flashing 8' wide image. I connect it to a laptop with Bose Attendant 2 Series II computer speakers creating an exceptional audio video wisdom. I use a Logitech wireless mouse to control presentations. You may stress a case for the projector and possibly a longer video cable than the 6' telegram provided. I am completely satisfied with the quality and scene of the projector and would recommend it to anyone in the market.

Astounding projector
After shopping encircling and purchasing a few "cheap" projectors I realized that I needed to bight the bullet and buy something a bit more valuable. I did a ton of research and for my price point of around $300 I organize this projector. I was a bit skeptical as I have had no luck with projectors recently and was jumpy about throwing down so much money. Go assured, this projector is worth it! I wanted a nice affordable large screen projector for backyard movie nights with friends. Fatiguing to find one that provided a great picture along with being affordable is no quiet task. But this model is fantastic. I can't get over how frangible the picture is. And we use nothing but a white sheet pinned between two hammok posts. Placid in a room with mid day sun the picture is still bright and exonerate. The fan is not too loud and the controls are very easy to work. Clever Projector + Great Price = Great Replacement
My 50" Widescreen 1080i After Projection Television finally bit the dust. Since I recently purchased an LCD T.V. for another compartment, it was not an option to purchase another one here. I did a lot of research into projectors and unfaltering to give this one a try. I found video's of this piece being played online as well as numerous reviews. The consequence is what caught my eye initially. After doing the check out on some of the higher end models I could see that the replacement bulb on those models were exceedingly expensive. The great thing with this segment is they include one extra bulb. Additional bulbs are low-cost compared to others. Also included are all the cables needed for capture up including an HDMI one. I thought with the extra bulb and all the cables needed it was a grievous overall value.I had medium expectations on the quality as I was unsure on what to at bottom expect. Out of the box I plugged in a standard DVD player and projected onto a whey-faced wall. The picture was amazing...

Massive for Home or Work! VERY Impressed!
I did my homework for months, looking for a projector that I could use for my Power Bring up presentations at work so I wouldn't have to keep borrowing from our IT count on. I didn't want to have to spend $$1,000s on one either. Some of the in the final analysis good ones can be quite costly. At the same chance, I didn't want one that couldn't provide an up, sharp picture. I also wanted it for home use to reveal movies at home or do movie-maker picture presentations for dearest gatherings. Not only was this projector priced reasonably (I bought reservoir refurbished for under $300!) but it is so simple to operate and the show is just great!!! I set it up on a table 6ft away from the barrier and get sharp, clear resolution with a screen appraise of about 5x3 ft. It is light and compact and I carry it around with quieten compared with the cumbersome units I used to secure to check out. I only hope that I get lots of use from it in front of the lamp wears out. To see the big spitting image...
I from used this little projector for more than a year and I rapture it. It is soooooo portable. I don't leave home without it. It is fluorescent enough to use in most situations. The picture is extremely neaten up. It weighs almost nothing, and the fact that it has an LED bulb means that you don't force to worry about a long cool off period first you move it an pack it away to travel. It doesn't get too hot. It is negligible, with big results. I have used it in a large classroom from much more than the 8 foot stiffness mentioned, and had a large clear picture. it is great for movies or presentations. We be the spitting image it camping and show movies on the side of the motorhome. Put this output with a mini speaker and a netbook, and you have an inviolate office in a lunch box sized case. A wonderful produce!

Superlative travelling companion!
I wanted a brief projector that could be used on roadshow presentations and not be lacking a separate piece of luggage to carry it around so took a predictability on this. It is terrific and I could not be more pleased. The one and no more than drawback is the lumen strength; it does require a positively darkened room or a smaller screen as the resolution deteriorates the bigger the notion gets but the point of this machine is not to present to 500 people at a symposium but a small group on 6' x 6' screen and for that, it works superbly esepcially at less than $500.

for the cost its woth it..
This is the firstly projector I bought so I can't compare it with the other Projectors in the demand.I love it. For the price its worth it.Before I bought this I did a not any research and this is what I found out and my primary concerns.I compared it with newsky-healthfulness led-2 and alanson led-2 and a bunch of projectors with the same input and take shape. Are they all the same just with different names? all are made from china..The tag PMC has the same shape but different inputs and usb so its not the same..It has 1300 lumens brightness and to US standards 400 ansi barely..-> What is its life span?Favi website and other website says 20,000 hours of being span while some and amazon say its 30,000..Who cares five years from now this order be obsolete and its life is good for more than 10 years if you use it 5-6 hours a day..With all the original information out there I really don't know what is the palpable specs of this...

Look out that this is a Budget projector with lot of connectivity including HDMI and has ok speakers!I bought it for my parents shell US and they needed a big screen to watch movies. I presume from the negative reviews all over the web about this projector, and was edgy to even try it. Well, it was on sale on Black Friday, so I took the plunge. I'm so gratified I did, because it performed better than I was expecting.YES, the figure is grainy if you make the image size 6-8 feet across.YES, the produced perception is a little less bright than what you would normally think from a movie theater projector.But, this product is jolly good enough to watch some kids movies on the madden, or play some video games all blown up. I watched a match up of movies, and feel like I made a great support.One other thing to realize- When you project a motion picture and wind up with a 6-8 foot wide symbol, you will think it looks grainy just like you do when you sit one foot in fa of a television.Put this projector on maximum distance from the brick up, then move back as far back from the talkie as possible, and you will see that the farther away...

get what you pay for
i got this for the view of showing movies or playing games outside on likeable summer nights. the resolution is low, focus is iffy, and cover image gets nowhere near 10' as the box states without fading too much. rabble-rouser is terrible, but you can direct the sound cables to a stereo or something that produces better characteristic.high quality projectors cost $100 to Lease. low-end HQ projectors are roughly 10x the price to buy. this is an insanely easily projector and does everything it should be expected to do at that charge. the a/v inputs are versatile, and most types of computers/games/dvd players/vcrs etc. can use them (or beget adapters available). used properly, it functions adequately. it's not a stone's throw from perfect, but it's a totally fair budget option, and those who pet that it isn't have way too strong a sense of entitlement.

The Discovery Projector IS a projector, and when I can say that I bought a projector for in every direction eighty dollars, that is an achievement. This artifact is not meant to be used in a home theater-- it is for someone who needs access to a TV but may not enjoy it. I bought this product because buying a TV would not be as transportable or versatile, and a whole lot more expensive.For those looking to moor to a laptop, look for a VGA to RCA cable. If you look in the right bung, it can't be more than $5-10.
