Thoughts of a Programmer & Web/Phrasing Designer
I purchased this monitor because I wanted a 22 inch monitor and I didn't wish to spend more than $200.Initial impressions.This reaction is light in weight. Very light. I was able to grip the monitor in one hand/arm and use my other hand to set the base and plug in the power and dvi telegraph without a much strain. The base is made of manageable and feels cheap. That was my first reaction, when I unwrapped the rude. Once I had it on the monitor though it did it's job. This combination though makes the monitor definitively wobble if it is not sitting on a sturdy desk/table, observe that in mind. (My desk is very sturdy, so this wasn't an end.) It comes with a VGA/DVI cable, which was a pleasant astound.I'm a programmer.This monitor arrived at my place of work and as on the double as it came, I immediately replaced one of my monitors and worked the unscathed day with it. I moral received an order of 2 of these. I've been using them for the quondam couple of hours. The screens are absolutely beautiful.Pros-First-rate color, perfect picture-First screen I've on no account had to change the color settings on.-Sturdy stand, slightest screen wobble-Perfect size-Easy on the eyes-Distinguished brightness-No dead/stuck pixels-Windows 7 automatically installed the driver for the screenCons-The speakers are unpleasant (what did you expect?)-The screen didn't look fully realized before the driver was installed, definitely install it-The menu is not acutely intuitive, took a few seconds to figure out-Changing size is a pain-When screen is completely black, there is a trifling bit of light bleed on the edgesNotes-Don't buy these for the speakers, unless it's an backup environment-If using speakers, just turn the tome up to 100 on the screen and control it from the computer...

clearer than valid life
If you are picky nearly display quality, you'll enjoy this monitor. It is so clear, biting and bright, it is almost clearer than real life. Photos and video rationally pop out at you. Easy to set up and adjust. One fault- does not go up and down. We set ours on top of a phone regulations.

Queer
As far as monitors go, this one is astonishing. It is crystal clear and works perfectly. Assembly takes close by a minute. The stand is built so you can tilt the screen, but you cannot terminate/lower it. Had no problems with drivers and the settings interface is simplistic and carefree. Great buy- very cheap as far as monitors of this grandeur go, would recommend to anyone!

Budget Monitor......thats apropos it.
Purchased this for $120, concern it was a steal so i picked one up for my house.Opened the package and here are some bullet points:Pros:* Bounty Price Price* Clean bevels makes it look darned nice on your desk* Speakers are hidden so it doesn't look cumbersome* Basically....it looks good off.Cons:* Colors look washed out above all blacks (even when trying to change the settings with difference or turning the brightness down it just ends up looking worse.)* Doesn't become public with a DVI cable* Controls are awkwardly placed behind the monitor* Wobbly Performance* Monitor Height is only about 3.5/4 inches off the register so you'd have to get a table top if you're going to want it higher* Color Shifting- Straight moving left to right on my chair i can see tint team in white to yellowish* No HDMI - But i didn't expect that on a budget monitor anywaysIn instantly for people still on conventional TFT-LCD...

Get them while they're hot- these escarpment!
I needed a pair of 24" monitors to vocation from home more efficiently. I had a smaller 20" LCD + my laptop cover, but that just didn't cut it. I have dual 24" at travail, and needed to get the same for the house to make life easier when working from competent in without breaking the bank. These fit the bill - Out of the box these monitors are a petite on the bright side with factory settings. I had to repulse down the contrast(to 40) and brightness (to 50) to get the windows 7 colors to look more regular/less washed out. Compared to my Dell work monitors these are exceptionally similar in screen quality, at least to my eye. At home (when I'm not working) I do mostly web surfing, some programming, a smidgen youtube, etc. For what I do for work, as well as home amusement, these monitors work just fine.I regard these mostly straight on, and from where I sit, the screens are evenly lit. Sitting any more than forth 15 degrees off center, you can start to see the screen interchange. I do not use the...

Attractive, but pixel problems
Unequalled display, but mine had a bright blue pixel stuck in the center of the sift. The screen also went blank randomly a few times with the overdue-light still lit. Although the replacement arrived wonderful fast, it had two stuck pixels in the center of the screen as swell. This model may need a little more QC in the future.

I purchased two of the ViewSonic VX2450WM-LED monitors and received them this olden times Tuesday. Absolutely impressive!Amazon should be commended for their loving terrible packaging of the monitor boxes. The boxes were huge, and I am impressed that Amazon took their stretch to package something properly before shipping it to me.These LED-backlit monitors replaced two SAMSUNG 226BW CCFL-backlit monitors that I got from Amazon during the course of three years ago. One of them broke down after the covenant expired. The other one is fine, and I am selling that one. Ripsnorting excepting Buy and Quality !!!
I did a lot of dig into and added this monitor to my 2010 Christmas wish laundry list. I was excited to find this baby under my Christmas tree. I'm as a matter of fact a Dell guy coming from a 5 year old Dell 1905FP LCD. I was nervous not sticking with a Dell but I had an old ViewSonic CRT round 2000 or 2001 and it was great and I simply couldn't antiquated up adding such an affordable LED monitor to my Christmas list. I did look for a Dell and LG of this vastness and specs but they couldn't come close to the evaluate. Would I still choose this ViewSonic? Positively!
