In the end a decent camera that takes sharp photos
I purchased this because I was most unhappy with the new Canon A3300 that I also purchased only a week before this one. I did extensive photo tests with both cameras because I felt the Canons all-inclusive sharpness was bad. Both cameras are 16mp and although i'm a Canon fan I eat to say they failed on the A3300. Even with site custom sharpness, contrast and saturation, the normal unelaborated out of the box settings on the Panasonic were way better.The two big problems with the canon were most photos methodical bright outdoors had way too much noise. The other question was no matter what setting and focus type, no greater than the center areas were in ok and i mean ok focus. All four corners of the photos were on the blurry side and that's simply unacceptable. Compared to this Panasonic...wow, much better and much sharper. When fully zoomed in there was a bit of hullabaloo but its expected. Night shots depending on how you take them also be subjected to noise but again depending on how and what you can work...

Egregious Camera
Lot's of positives for this camera:Advertised as 8x optical zoom but that's video. It's 10x in photo trend, 22.5x if you employ the digital zoom as well.16.1 mp is astounding for a camera in this price range. I actually used the max digital zoom and but got good resolution photos.About 2 dozen segment modes (portrait, beach, sunset, etc) that m well and are easy to select. Text scrolls across the filter explaining its use as you you move from mode to mode.Acutely easy to use. About 1/2 hour with the handbook and camera and you can understand and begin using all the features.Image stabilization sems bloody effective. I shot every thing hand held neutral at max zoom and liked the results.Great battery duration. I chrged it 1x on a week vacation but that was just in trunk. Notable Product!
I don't make too many reviews, but this one was worth the effort. If you are looking to purcase a appropriateness and shoot, the Panasonic DMC-FH25 is probably the best camera for the money. I did absolutely a bit of research and was taken by the 8x Zoom and 16.1 MP. And it wasn't much more resources than those cameras with fewer megapixels and features! It's comfortable to use - whether you are taking close-ups, or panoramic shots, the controls are intuitive and useful. With flash, without flash, macro, zoom... it's remarkably just a few simple clicks and your taking serious shots. Right out of the camera with no touch up the photos are by a long chalk balanced and accurate.(I've uploaded some of the shots on the Panasonic DMC-25K era above.) After Primary Shock - Camera is really good
Here's the fetich - this camera does NOT COME with a memory index card. So when you pull it out of the package - there are 2 batteries and you can board 1 (YES - ONE) picture. For novices - this means you requirement also buy an SD card - which granted is about $1 / per 1 GB (I bought an 8GB anniversary card here on Amazon). I think this is because "recall size" is a personal choice and since it effects all-inclusive price I sort of understand why the camera comes without... But my unimportant is that it doesn't exactly "work" out of the box. However, the camera, in olden days I got a SD card, works really well. My 5 year old is the acme user - it seems to take great pictures for her - bleeding easily. And the 5x zoom is great for really close up attitude that kids like. So overall, good camera, but you call 2 purchases - the camera and an SD card.

Came in in the good old days b simultaneously for Christmas!!
I bought this element to give as a gift for Christmas. It was shipped and delivered in less than a week, which was overwhelming not worrying whether it would get here in time. It was a horrific price and I am very happy with the quality of the pictures. It has a slim delay from the moment you click the top and it takes the draw but it's still better than some cameras I've had. This is a exceptional starter camera, particularly for a teenager which is the one that received it.

Unfortunate camera. I have had several kodaks and loved them. This one takes revolting pics inside. I know most dig cams calling better in natural light, but this one is terrible. I wouldn't advise it.

A tremendous starter camera if you want better pics than a piece of advice and shoot.
Like myriad other reviewers I am not a professional photographer, and this is my cardinal digital camera. I do like taking pictures though and I've dealt with a few minute film cameras and some nice Fujifilm cameras (a P&S, 'connexion camera' and a DSLR) and I feel like this camera is most clearly worth the price. The X500 is a bridge camera, almost a SLR and verging on a point and shoot. But it boasts some great specs and features that you cannot upon anywhere in this price range.Pros. The 16 megapixel sensor is smashing. Most entry level cameras of any type and make start off at about 12 MP right now. GE has this working model at 16. I think the other 16 MP cameras are over and beyond twice the price of this one. Like most people who are purchasing this camera, I be subjected to little or no experience in photography. Although I've dabbled in the arts of Skype and deft pics using my phone, this GE bridge camera is rarely in the same tier. Rehash: My last two digital cameras have been point & launch Kodak's and it took so long for the camera to reset in between pictures I was missing picture after shot. THE Bare BEST OF ALL DIGITAL CAMERAS
I rightfully deeply LOVE this camera; it is sooo easy to use and the importance is there. It even lets you select the final area of your photos in pixels. Uploading pictures is a Delight, NOTHING COMPLICATED IN USING IT, unlike other digitals. It is really a point and shoot camera! I take photos of fast exciting puppies and it keeps up with them, no blurs! I promote it to all! The price was more than worth it without having to throw away thousand(s) of dollars. It is meant for the amateur photographer and is entirely an absolute VERY TRUE JOY to use! I can't say enough about this Bare excellent camera. In the sky average point & shoot camera
Received this camera fro a month ago, and even though it is a point and shoot camera, there are a lot of options to learn, so I am winsome the time to do just that! I actually read the instructions (downnloaded the PDF handbook)and fleshing it out...the 3" screen was the main draw to this camera, as was the consequence-under $120.00, and the simple controls that sit very recently right of the screen....also the fact I can use semi-monthly AA batteries and/or rechargeable...comes in 3 choices of finish-red, Negroid or silver. Good documentation available...Nice camera for the bounty!

When buying electronics on the internet you not at any time really know what you're getting; sure the details of the tool sound impressive but are they really, and is it the best huge quantity possible with the constant progress in technology? (Confidently this review will answer those questions.)The Nikon Coolpix L26 is entirely an excellent camera for an excellent price. 16 mega pixels imply the photo clear and crisp; good for landscapes, dilettante photography, and candid photos. The 5x Zoom is adequate and suits the camera truly well. Best of all, the camera is very easy to use and because its battery operated all you penury to do is insert the batteries and a memory card and you're good to go.In conclusion if you hope for a good camera for a low price that's pretty idiot shore this is the one for you and apparently is for me as well.

This is a should for loading music to listen to on my Palm TX. But BEWARE of eek Technoligies and buying at this prize. They wanted $13.20 for shipping a 2 oz memory be direct? Buy from someone else even if it is a few dollars more and pay rational shipping rates. Don't be fooled by their cheap fee they make it up 2x in shippoing charges. No more swapping cards
It's strict to have 4GB in your camera and be able to take pictures at max resolve and not have to worry about running out of space. I've been using SanDisk cards for 6 years now and conditions had a single problem. Be warned however, if you have a to some older digital camera, it may not recognize a card of this size and the take action will be useless. I don't know why they don't mention this in the offering spec, hence the 4 stars. Check your camera's purchaser manual for max memory capabilities, if any.
