The Largest Flip once again so far....
This study is very similar to the review that I gave for the Freak out Slid HD when it first came out. (Please see that look at also...)I have been a Flip camera owner since they released the first gen. Flip Mino HD (not the new metallic original). I loved the camera. For what I needed it for it was everything I wanted. I on the double became addicted to the Flip cameras and needed to obtain the newest one every time they came out.I currently own the Twist Mino HD (1st gen) Flip Ultra HD (2nd Gen) Flip Slide HD, and now the Top Ultra HD (3rd Gen with Flip Port). I also own a Canon GL2 and Vixia 30 video cameras and a Canon Xi digital SLR.I got homewards from school on Tuesday and found my brand new Flip out Ultra HD waiting for me. I had about 20 minutes to unscheduled the package, look and set up the features (time, date, etc.) prior to I had to leave for marching band rehearsal. Devoted For The Price
To role in to the the review stating the video looked horrible when hooked up to his HDTV, when hooked up to dig it looks great. No distortion or pixelation at all.If your looking for a budget HD camcorder, this is a basic buy with some great features at this assay. The zoom is adequate but requires a very steady deliver even with image stabilization on 720P vogue. Red and blues look a little over saturated but not too bad. Stills look well-grounded as good as the video but also requires a steady hand.I gave it 4 stars based on presentation for the money. I'm very happy with my purchase and would advisable to anyone looking for a sub $300 HD camcorder.Also, here is a good study as well. [...]

adroit deal for the money, but?
this is a unobscured hd camcorder with a 5x optical zoom for $180 so be too essential on it would not be fair! it is better than the standard def jvc everio i solely got rid of. it strong point that it take 10 megapixel hushed photos that look quite good, if you can cling the camera completely still! if not they get blurry quickly. and one aspect i do not understand is that if i take hd video and put it on my computer it looks genuinely good, but if i hook the camcorder to my 42" hdtv to veiw it looks in reality hideous i mean really grainy and pixelated for some rationalization because of? i have not tried to convert and burn on a dvd yet to see how they bequeath look, but that will be my next project. the software that comes with it is ok at most adroitly! but hey it is free and is usable! so my verdict is! for youtubing this would be an apart from choice. for a videophile or someone who make their own blu ray disc's look else where because this camcorder inclination probably dissapoint you? and like i said the photo's and...

Someone forgot the details...
I had owned an earlier archetype of a Samsung SD card camcorder and it did a fine job. I sold it to a pal and later regretted it, so recently decided to update and get the newest incarnation of this series. I'm See sorrowful to be the bad guy, but I have to say I'm not pleased with this particular ideal. I'm simply going to make a "list" of the reasons I'm succeeding to return this camcorder to the store:1) A good old days model had a "swivel" strap area so you could centre the camera body up or down for odd angle shooting - and this play up has been removed from this model.2) The F50 does not come to someone's rescue all of your menu settings. For instance, if you set the digital image stabilization looks and power the camcorder off, the feature will reset to "off" and you must go into the menu each epoch you power the camcorder on in order to use it. Some of your business settings will be saved - others will not. Extraordinarily inconsistent and VERY inconvenient when you're trying to swiftly capture a...

Wealthiest Camcorder
I absolutely pleasure this camcorder! I searched for weeks and watched the charge on several camcorders. This year we will be celebrating tons important milestones in my family and I don't want the opportunity to protect them over and over again. The only "problems" that I've battle-scarred stem from my inability to keep the camera pointed at the fight, instead of the ground/floor. The microphone (sadly) picks up all of my commentary as I tape recording my sons' baseball games. Makes for a good deny when we watch the playback. The picture quality is crystal eliminate. Buttons are good size so I don't accidentally hit anything that I'm not intending to. Couldn't be any easier to snare up the camcorder to my tv and watch the videos on a big screen. Now I just extremity to find a tripod.

tight-fisted and water proof
I wanted something selfish and waterproof for kayaking and canoeing...and of course geocaching.. I deliver a kodak zx1, a flip mino, but I wanted something smaller than those....I kindness about this camera for a while/watched sample videos on youtube,at long last broke down and bought this at a "best" inventory for $89 without a card. This camera is simple to use! turns on definitely quickley,and starts recording quickley.I like the 1.8" qualify....big enough to see what your recording/but petite enough not to use too much power...I fully charged the battery/took 2 hours of video, and I quiet had battery to spare! battery life is great!...this is a modest video camera/ captures video very well!small enough to put in your palm/battery still charged after a week of attend regularly use!Sound quality is very good/however the exclusive "downside" for me is......no image stablization/not a big deal/ but is slighty noticed when timely movement happens...small,waterproof,long battery spirit,good quality video,good quality...

A Sunday little video cam
I give birth to two of these - on in this version and one in the HD version. The pros and cons are the verbatim at the same time for both.ProsSizeEasy to useIntuitiveTakes good videoWaterproofInexpensiveConsNot ardent for still picturesNot great in low lightThe camera works serious right out of the box. Bought it initially for a trip to hawaii. Was qualified to read through the instructions and start recording properly away. As noted in the manual - sound playback on the machinery is poor - because the device is waterproof - no good speakers shell. Once imported to PC - sound was really good.Quiescent pictures were grainy - unless I really concentrated on holding the camera sophisticated. Again, since it is waterproof - there is no place for balance out a mini tripod.Overall - fair price for what it is - a fun Lilliputian video cam to keep around for those spur of the moments. Massive for kids and grandparents who don't want...

Gratifyingly little Sony
This is not a Penetrating Definition model, if it were my review would be actually different but beings it's standard def it's okay.Okay from the start there's the light which is little more than a cheat, but it does mean that it might need a explanation in lowlight conditions. It is very small, and light, snap the 3" LCD & the camera turns on and the lens opens immediately. The battery mortal is as good as any Sony camcorder and I have an older sony that I utilized for 2 years & never had to get another battery for it. Can count on at least an hours importance of juice, but you can power it with the ac adapter.It has no built in thought so you need to buy an SD card, 16GB is good.It does not sooner a be wearing very good manual adjustments, just like all sony camcorders I theorize, but most of you will be using the iAuto anyways. Some folks value standard definition is dead but it is still used a lot, including all DVD's are not HD.It's affordable and away worth the money for a beginner,...

cosy to use
This handycam camcorder was the first I for ever bought, so I can't really compare it with any others. But, I receive noticed that the recorded picture is remarkably stock-still, despite one's shaky hands! And I was able to take elucidate pictures through my car windows. The sound is very lustrous and picks up even the quietest sounds. I don't know how much safer a HD picture would look, so I cannot comment much on the double quality. However, it is certainly good enough for my touristy purposes. After downloading the software, I was clever to burn DVD's very easily from the camera (since I possess an external DVD player attached to my computer). And, it sounds like a "position machine" when you turn it on and press buttons, as it has all sorts of internal sounds to let you be informed what it is doing!So, I am very happy with this camcorder.

Should keep went with a high def model
Tons options to choose from. Menu style is uncommonly user friendly. The biggest problem for me was picture grandeur. I understand this is a standard definition camcorder but in low delicate or indoors the picture was just to grainy. Outdoors the fancy is okay but it could be better. The battery life wears down hellishly fast so you must have a backup. Overall I should arrange paid an extra $200 and bought the CX110 ideal. I bought it on 4-8-2011 and I returned it 4-12-2011.
