Not to the yardstick you have come to expect from InFocus
I would rather used InFocus projectors for the last 10 years. All projectors I press had were 5 stars. When recently I needed to make good on one to upgrade to a higher resolution, I naturally chose InFocus again. This projector is calm and bright (although the fan gets louder after here 15 minutes of use). Images are sharp all the way to the corners and it is lightweight and it is not costly. But it is nowhere near the quality I have come to get off on from InFocus over the years. The projector comes without a bag. Neither is there a lens cap. Leg coordination is adquate, but the quick adjustments from the previous versions of their projectors is not at on this model. The image on the screen is small, you call to go a great distance before you fill a decent sized cover. Zoom range is a joke (you can add about 2 or 3 inches to the immensity of the image at 4 metres). The remote control doesn't pilot your laptop or PC, like it did with all my previous InFocus...

A laudatory entry level projector
Our opinion purchased more than 20 Infocus projector and all of them are race well. It's bright and quite to fit in classroom environment. The large lasting bulb helps a lot to reduce the long time cost. The only cons is that the entry plain Infocus models require us carefully measure the distance from the impediment to get the best result.

Extensive entry level projector
I needed a central, high-quality projector right away, but didn't pine for to spend too much. I was thinking mostly about the prominence of the image and didn't care as much about any supernumerary features. I've used InFocus projectors in the past and found them to be of ear-splitting quality, so that lead me to this purchase.Cons:I had to fritter away nearly 20 minutes adjusting the color, brightness, and dissimilarity settings to get to the point where it matched the standard I required for displaying medical images. At any rate, I'm happy with the final result and the color display of images is quite good and the image is sharp across the whole display with no evidence of optical distortion. The non-performance color settings of the projector seem way off from where I would contemplate them to be. In particular, pastel colors are weak and amateurishly reproduced until you tweak the system and then they look clear. The picture in the ad showed a carrying case, but there was nil in the box. It would not keep...

The pre-eminent projector for the money
My church purchased two of these projectors in January 2011 and are soul satisfied. Our auditorium has windows and it has always been naughty to watch videos in the morning with the sunlight shining brightly on the acting. We bought these projectors because of the 3000 lumens brightness, and they set up paid for themselves time and time again. The prototype is crisp and clear, and super bright as well. Easygoing menus to navigate, and super easy to set up. I have been purchasing InFocus products for unequivocally a while now, and have never been disappointed. I inclination continue using InFocus products as long as I can.

Rainbow Purpose A Deal Breaker
I did a lot of homework previously buying this product (my first projector). If you've done the constant, you'll know this is a great projector for home theatre use - with all the to be just features and a lot of bang for the buck. This is all true. I sampled projectors with preferably/higher features and saw nothing worth twice the assess. There is no doubt (unless money truly is NO Entity) that this is the projector to choose for home theatre. ALL THAT BEING SAID, and having look over and been warned by at least a dozen reviews (of the X1) which marginalized the ''rainbow intention'' I MUST SAY THAT THE RAINBOW EFFECT IS A INSURMOUNTABLE Canker POINT and my review will focus on exactly that. I don't identify if any projectors exist in the world without this disturbed, but here it is in a more understandable form: It seems that the notion is made of RGB images that alternate faster than the eye can take heed of (in other words, that there is a red image followed by a fresh image and...

Hi Def TV, Wire, DVD's and X-box all look Fantastic!
Basis line - best major purchase I have made since I bought a refuge with a finished basement!I got the projector and mounted it on the ceiling in my basement projecting on a fire-brown wall. I expected that I would distress to paint the walls white, or get a screen, but was shocked by the remarkable picture quality. Here are the details:1) Comcast Mooring with HiDef Box. Hidef program is so amazing it makes me stand in want to cry. Sports programing blows the mind away. I even-handed enjoy watching boring hi-def shows with the spouse, like the Oscars, just because I am so amazed at how crystal settle the picture looks. You feel like you are there! Accustomed TV looks surprisingly great too, but setting it up right is essential. Make sure to change the aspect ratio endorse to Native (vs 16:9 when watching hi-def channels). Effect that the HDTV cable box has the following settings:Point of view Ratio (controls regular programming) = 4:3 letterboxOutput Pattern (controls High def programming) =...

Away Perfect Universal Mount
This was my basic every Projector installation and i chose this over numerous others because this mount seemed to would rather multiple axis caliberation options and i was right. The mount itself is sharp and compact - good quality and very sturdy. I mounted Optoma HD20 - It took me a few mins to reckon out how to align the base clamps to fit the 3 mounting holes protection HD20 (Had to reverse one of the inner clamps) and it fit perfect.I over in the earlier reviews, where ever the reviewers tease mentioned that assembly was required or it did not fit the projector right out of the box - swell - its a universal mount, and YOU have to figure out how best to utilize it.All the bolts/tools needed for my installation care right out of the box. After aligning and tightening the screws, there is no projector caftan or movement. I rate this product 5 stars.

Some group required...
Perseverance:I bought this for use with my Epson 8100 projector to be mounted to a 9 foot huge ceiling in my basement. The good:The manufacturer/vendor takes heed to ensure you have all of the required mounting hardware for any of the configurations which this identical can be used. Every screw, nut, bolt, washer, bushing, etc was accounted for in the swarm.Although not needed for my application, it included a telescoping spar for vaulted ceiling mount. I should note, that steady with this piece included it was still priced earlier small than others that did not include this chance. The black color is ideal for blending in.The design of the mount makes it hugely versatile and adjustable. I appreciated that when I was mounting the projector. The layout is such that it allows you to pivot the project at three organize points. This was very useful when aligning the projector to the partition off.The bad:Unfortunately, it did not fit...
