Dlp Projector?
I contain a DLP projector at home and was curious if the crispness of Blu-Ray or HD movies will played being played through it.

Yes, a Blu-ray (or HD DVD) competitor would be compatible (assuming you have an HDCP compliant (see beneath) DVI or HDMI input on your projector), but would not necessarily stipulate any visible benefit.
It isn't really the type of projector

Big Bang for Shallow Buck
I've at most had my ViewSonic PJD5123 one day, which is a little premature for reviewing, but with contrariwise one review posted, I thought another would be profitable. I actually made my purchase on that review's endorsement, since I could find no others.First, let me say that my foothold was largely price-driven. I figured I'd have to buy a habituated to projector, but the low price Amazon charged was the hook that caused me to sting on this brand-new one. My second criterion was that it had to trade with a Mac; it does! I did have to purchase an extra guy for my Macbook Pro unibody ($29.99 from Apple). I could organize gotten a third party cable for much less (and may notwithstanding do that for a backup), but the reviews on them were not as favorable as those on the Apple one.So I took the plummet, even paying an extra $4 (Amazon Prime) to from it delivered in two days. It arrived on time and I found the aggregate in the box as advertised. The written documentation is worthless, but...

An close-fisted solution
The ViewSonic PJD5123 Projector is an personal property and economical solution for movie viewing and PowerPoint presentations. Projecting from 25' it creates a keen-minded 8' wide image. I connect it to a laptop with Bose Enchiridion 2 Series II computer speakers creating an exceptional audio video meet with. I use a Logitech wireless mouse to control presentations. You may exigency a case for the projector and possibly a longer video cable than the 6' cable provided. I am barrel satisfied with the quality and performance of the projector and would exhort it to anyone in the market.

Marvellous projector
After shopping all and purchasing a few "cheap" projectors I realized that I needed to bight the bullet and buy something a bit more dear. I did a ton of research and for my price point of around $300 I ground this projector. I was a bit skeptical as I have had no luck with projectors recently and was fidgety about throwing down so much money. Stay assured, this projector is worth it! I wanted a nice affordable motion picture projector for backyard movie nights with friends. Irritating to find one that provided a great picture along with being affordable is no unceremonious task. But this model is fantastic. I can't get over how crispy the picture is. And we use nothing but a white sheet pinned between two hammok posts. Just in a room with mid day sun the picture is still bright and vivid. The fan is not too loud and the controls are very easy to work. My solely concern is that finding the right connection for my macbook 5,1 unibody has been a hassle. We connected it to a Scrooge-like dvd player and it...

Way Greater Than Expected!!! Get One!
I essential have looked at the various projectors on Amazon a thousand times. I wanted one that I could use to scrutinize movies, and use to play games with my PS3. I didn't necessitate to spend a lot of money but all the projectors that said well-informed in theater were expensive starting at about $700 and the 1080p were starting higher than that. I kept seeing the fashion reviews for this projector and the model below it (the cheaper one has no HDMI coherence). However, I still did not like that this exemplar was classified as a data projector for presentations not what I wanted. I kept opinion this was for a home setup not for a classroom or office, so the projector i basic has to say it is for a home theater for home use. I reread the Amazon reviews again and I marked to go for it and get the View Sonic the one I really thought I wanted was the Optoma HD66...

Famous decision. Great projector.
Previously this one we bought the FAVI RIO 2 projector and in comparison that one was like a children's toy. You couldn't set it up advantageously. The resolution was way off, color non existent, and you couldn't use it for anything except movies. Leave behind about computer presentations. The letters were blurry and dirty. To tell you the truth I was afraid we were not going to boon a projector to suit our needs under a $1,000.None of those were a hornet's nest for the Viewsonic. Granted this review is after a precise short period of time. If it changes I will update this. Be that as it may, as of right now, this projector is as good, if not better than the one I secure at work which probably cost more than a $1,000. That one is a VieSonic as start but much bigger.First of this projector is BRIGHT. You will-power have no problem displaying it in a room with set fire to. Haven't tested it in a sun lit room yet though, but I would daresay to guess that you wouldn't have a big issue...

Devoted product!
I bought this projector after much examination with others. The quality and everything about this projector is faithful and it has all the inputs and outputs you need including hdmi in and audio out which I use for my computer and xbox 360 inferior. I have the screen set up to be about 7 feet wide and the counterpart looks just as good as my TV! Would recommend this projector to anyone.

Best Projector + Great Price = Great Replacement
My 50" Widescreen 1080i Raise Projection Television finally bit the dust. Since I recently purchased an LCD T.V. for another lodge, it was not an option to purchase another one here. I did a lot of research into projectors and unhesitating to give this one a try. I found video's of this section being played online as well as numerous reviews. The evaluation is what caught my eye initially. After doing the probe on some of the higher end models I could see that the replacement bulb on those models were exceptionally expensive. The great thing with this part is they include one extra bulb. Additional bulbs are reasonable compared to others. Also included are all the cables needed for entirely up including an HDMI one. I thought with the extra bulb and all the cables needed it was a well-known overall value.I had medium expectations on the quality as I was unsure on what to indeed expect. Out of the box I plugged in a standard DVD player and projected onto a chalky wall. The picture was amazing...

Dazzling Deal..Early Shipping..High Resolution
Buying this projector was one of the pre-eminent deals I have ever gotten. High accuracy even in a decent amount of light. 2000 lumens is the actuality and keep in mind that is the same as a professional extraordinary quality projector. You can hook up cable television, rca component, and hdmi all at the changeless time. This is just like having an to the nth degree light weight and mini big screen tv. I didnt want this projector to be so advanced. Read every input well-founded fine and even has a fast enough input rapidity to play all your video games. For this guerdon you are buying a projector worth twice the amount. Also principled as a plus I received it one day in advance of the earliest estimated emancipation date. Another great thing is that it comes with every radio you need to go ahead and hook up all your electronics.

Excellent product for the price
I oblige used this item like 3 days and I bought it as a replacement for my old epson and as a completion to my benq... I have probed it in different conditions and I can paint it as follows...At night lights on or off it simply works glaring in power point presentations and computer general use... the regardless for movies...When connected to the ps3 or my 360 images are not as creditable as in a lcd tv, but it was possible to play and that is normal if you consider that this projector is 800x600 and it is undeniably cheap... When connected to my old xbox, my ps2 or the wii it works unequivocally as a tv, same quality... Anyway I would not favour this unit to play new video games...In day bearable conditions it continues working perfectly well... you can see the images free even in an image 60" wide... terrific accomplishment for such a cheap projector... I highly recommend it...If I make an analogy with this projector to my other two ones (an expensive epson and cheaply benq) I only...

The Largest PROJECTOR you can find at this price
Pros: Familiar mostly for presentations and occasionally to display videos, amazingly identifiable in a well illuminated room, minimal difference between ECO and average mode so you can go ECO mode in any condition, cool feature to correct light output to compensate wall paint color (so you can transfigure any wall into a real screen), 6000 hours lamp in ECO, low clap, very good scaling of non native resolutions tried 1280 X 800, 1366 X 768 and 1650 X 1080, I fed a 720p HD OTA TV signal of a soccer sport and the picture was excellent, actually amazing for a projector in this figure range, brilliant colors, lamp replacement almost 120 USD, small footprint for a 2700 lumen badge, very good option for a data projector at this charge. Actually this is the second Acer projector I bought for my association, very satisfied with the performance.Cons: * No audio.* No buttons, the standoffish control slides in the projector housing to be used as the button place, so if you lose the remote you will...

Shocking
I'm actually happy with this projector so far. I set up a diy screen in my backyard, and have on the agenda c trick had a couple pretty successful movie party's. Directly the suns down, I can get a really good picture at over and beyond 100 inches diagonal playing a DVD off my laptop. Later in the year, when the suns dropping a itty-bitty earlier, I'm looking forward to Monday night football in the backyard on my nine by five examine. The only slight negatives are the connectivity (vga or s video contrariwise),and the amount of heat the projector produces. But that's only a outlet in a small room. Overall, great product for the wealthy. Comparable to projectors twice the price.

1080p Goodness for the budget-minded!
I beginning wrote this review on another site, and now that I've had more on occasion with this projector I have added and changed a few things and am reposting the fly-past on Amazon. I think more people will look to Amazon when purchasing this projector, first since the other site is not stocking it anymore. Optimistically this review helps those of you who are on the edge near purchasing this projector.Pros: Good looking, polish-white finish. Low-noise fan on normal-bulb status. 4000 hours lamp life on econo is greater then most projectors! Considerable enough to use in bright mode to use with lights turned on in the chamber. In the dark, it looks simply amazing!1080p gladden looks very good. Blu-rays played from a PS3 (or other blu-ray instrumentalist) look awesome. I watched Kung-Fu Panda and was "wowed" by what you can announcement on a much larger screen. I just watched Transformers : Avenge of the Fallen on it last night and I was amazed at the details and I noticed things I didn't flush with...

Original impressions, very pleased
This was an upgrade for me from a 720p, DLP projector (Mitsubishi HD1000u). Initial impressions are altogether positive, based on about 10 hours of viewing & tweaking. Bloody quiet, and plenty bright running in low power way. The high resolution (1920 X 1080) approaches that for a natural 2k digital cinema, so my 145" diagonal screen, viewed from close by 15 feet distance, provides a very pleasing silent picture experience. That said, the increase in resolution from 720p is an incremental out of, so it is not the be all and end all of image quality in projectors. More specifically the documentation material you feed it is what really brings out the distinction. Many HD feed materials (from cable or vassal) don't ever approach the inherent resolution of the projector, so at this spotlight only blu-ray source material will really give up the utmost in high resolution detail (and not even all disks, depending on the unique mastering, etc.). Black levels are similar to my above DLP projector, so if you are...

Calibration is tougher!!
I experience been playing with the HD20 for last couple of days. I am yet not sure what to say. Unlike any of my previous projectors(Optoma HD31 and HD70) it gives u too innumerable options to calibrate. I guess that is a good obsession. However,I am still struggling with this transform and seems like quite overwhelming to me. Good quirk is picture is much bigger and brighter than HD70. Wonderful wide is a nice option. However, in terms of envisage details I am still not sure what to say especially with the downloaded HD contentedness. Apparently it needs lot more tweaking( and hard toil) to calibrate it properly. I was reading different forums and there I know that it actually needs 100 odd hours for the bulb to sort out down. So that might be the reason too. Hence, to summarize, in terms of immensity and brightness, the improvement is significant. But as of now sadly I cannot say that in terms of sketch quality and details. I will keep u updated as I fence in continuing the calibration process.Update:...

5 Great LCD Projectors
A USB swarm type B port lets you drive the projector from your PC past USB, and standard USB host port will let you display photos just from a USB flash drive. Epson’s latest entry-flatten out LCD projector has an integrated iPhone and iPad dock, so is intended to material on a coffee table or bookshelf rather than be screwed to the ceiling. The pop-out docking tray will carry any iPod, iPhone or iPad, letting you play photo slideshows, music and videos from wherever you are in the lodgings using the slim remote control.
