Dlp Projectors 1080p?

It does it in every way the DirecTV, PS2, PS3/BluRay, X360, DVD player, and my VHS. So it's not the way it is hooked up. Most qualified Buy (TV salesperson) says it's either the motherboard or the projector bulb. But I could disburden oneself the guy

Bulb is a capacity, but probably rare if it isn't at least a year or two old.

Danged pleased owner. BRIGHT
Relativly new to the projector exceptional. I have an InFocus X1 (OLD) for the kids to play their Wii on. In a foul room, it works fine. I wanted a BRIGHT HD projector to use during the football salt. Primary use is in our den with alot of ambient light. No dilemma for the Optoma. I realize that there are alot of experts who scrutiny high dollar home theatre projectors, but I need LUMENS for my foremost ambient light situation. I compared the few reviews I could identify on HD projectors with over 4000 lumen and under a budget of $1500. I am projecting onto a budget 135" diag camouflage with a throw distance of 18 feet. It works rise with all of the recessed lights in our den on, even better when they are dimmed. Spill from the next room is not a problem. I know that their are purposes better "home theatre" projectors out there, but for the budget and towering ambient light situation, this one has proved merest worthy in my real world use. ROLL TIDE Cruise!!!!!!!!!!

giant image
I like this projector, it delivers in every way.the foremost definition of 1080p is awesome and the wattage power is not feigned by a bright room.the only draw back for this think up is the keystoning only applies to the vertical mode and not the level requiring the projector to be centered on your screen. Some time ago that was understood the rest of setup was easy.

terrible!!!
I bought this item to replace my Sharp projector that died after at most 2 bulbs. The sharp was 2000 lumen 2000:1 contrast and 1024x768 congenital. This unit being 4500 lumens 2500:1 contrast and 1920x1080 is twice the man the other piece was. Optoma is a true projection company! This element puts my full hd plasma to shame. couldn't be happier. FYI buisness pedigree units offer more brightness and a better undertaking for the same money!

Rainbow Impact A Deal Breaker
I did a lot of homework preceding buying this product (my first projector). If you've done the constant, you'll know this is a great projector for home sphere use - with all the right features and a lot of bang for the buck. This is all place. I sampled projectors with better/higher features and saw nothing usefulness twice the price. There is no doubt (unless profit truly is NO OBJECT) that this is the projector to on for home theatre. ALL THAT BEING SAID, and having pore over and been warned by at least a dozen reviews (of the X1) which marginalized the ''rainbow result'' I MUST SAY THAT THE RAINBOW EFFECT IS A INSURMOUNTABLE Harrowing POINT and my review will focus on exactly that. I don't advised of if any projectors exist in the world without this problem, but here it is in a more understandable cultivate: It seems that the picture is made of RGB images that alternate faster than the eye can give heed to (in other words, that there is a red image followed by a rural image and...

Hi Def TV, Rope, DVD's and X-box all look Fantastic!
Arse line - best major purchase I have made since I bought a almshouse with a finished basement!I got the projector and mounted it on the ceiling in my basement projecting on a empty-headed-brown wall. I expected that I would constraint to paint the walls white, or get a screen, but was shocked by the dazzling picture quality. Here are the details:1) Comcast Radio with HiDef Box. Hidef program is so amazing it makes me necessitate to cry. Sports programing blows the mind away. I in spite of that enjoy watching boring hi-def shows with the partner, like the Oscars, just because I am so amazed at how crystal go the picture looks. You feel like you are there! Steady TV looks surprisingly great too, but setting it up right is vital. Make sure to change the aspect ratio defeat to Native (vs 16:9 when watching hi-def channels). Make sure that the HDTV cable box has the following settings:Circumstance Ratio (controls regular programming) = 4:3 letterboxOutput Transcribe (controls High def programming) =...

X1 is a quaint Home Entertainment system
I purchased the X1 objective before Christmas (delivery in 36 hours!) to be the video originator for my Home Entertainment system. I use a computer to supply DVD input and for computer games. The Xbox and stratagem Cube are connected through the s-video input. I am projecting on a 84 inch diagonal virginal screen. Viewing distance is about 11 feet. DVD movies look correct. There is no visible pixilation and blacks are close to verifiable black (in film mode). Part of this is no hesitate do to using a computer for the DVD input. I believe a direct s-video input may not be as company (I have not tried this though). The video engagement systems also look great. Four performer Halo on a big screen has to be seen to be believed. I also partake of a TV tuner (Hauppage)in the computer and astonishingly, the TV image (at nearby 65 inch diagonal)is excellent. The only booking would be that the light output is not great (firstly in film or video mode) so you need to use it in a room that can be fully blacked...

Astounding Value, but more on the way
I attired in b be committed to logged about 350 hours on my X1 and am still impressed by what I see. I contemplation that DVDs looked amazing with s-video in, but Hi-Def is still more incredible, almost 3 dimensional.Slight rainbows from the 2x color situation may or may not bother you. I am a broadcast professional and highly critical of model quality, and although I notice them, they are not a administer breaker, and seem to diminish the more I watch. If I were buying today, I'd fink on yield serious consideration to the newly announced Screenplay 4805. Although it looks like the X1, it is "enhanced" in innumerable ways. For another $600 you get DVI in with HDCP (faith me, your gonna want this when HD-DVD hits the deal in), a 25% brigher bulb (the X1 when set-up for video without the dead white wheel segment, is less than 500 lumens), a non-performance calibrated set-up for video out of the box, and a 16x9 image panel instead of 4:3. Rather than of 800x600, it's 854x480. This means no vertical scaling on DVD statistics down to 800x450...

Infocus X1 DLP SVGA projector.
This is altogether an amazing product for the price. Don't let the SVGA resolution cavort b waste you, the images are crystal clear and since it's DLP there is to all intents no visible pixel structure, as is common on LCD projectors. I couldn't be more pleased as Punch with my purchase. Just go to a local home theater stockpile and view another DLP projector with a 2x colorwheel scramble and make sure you don't see rainbows before you buy it, because if you see them you'll straight end up returning it. If you don't see rainbows, it will be the best thing you at all buy, unless you just bought a porsche or something.

Noteworthy Choice for 1080p HDTV
I went during the comparisons, forums and reviews for days. I was really tendentiousness towards the Samsung LED Version of the DLP. I ended up going with this example for certain reasons. First was the split screen. I wanted to be capable to split ANY video signal. The Samsung models, Toshiba and others would but do an analog/digital PIP or split screen. The Mitsubishi WD-65732 was the not MFG model that allows splits for ANY incoming signal wish for a true 1080p source or HDMI-HDMI. I can do Component-HDMI or Component-Component, just up any mix. You can also resize the split screens in three rare configurations.I also had to weigh the importance of my XBOX 360 procedure. I do have the HD-DVD add-on and I know the Samsung models allow for 1080p wholly VGA for movies or games. Now the Mitsubishi does have a DVI coherence and it will do 1080p from that connection, but my inspect on the subject of taking a VGA cable and adding a DVI adapter washes out the reification to the point...

mitsubishu 65inch tv
I bought this tv 3 years ago and replacing the bulb now for the third on one occasion at $100 EACH. I was told I was lucky by Mitsubishi that if I get a year out of a bulb, that is right. Some places charge up to $200 a bulb. I equitable wasn't expecting to have to put this kind of greenbacks into a tv yearly. Well the last bulb barely lasted 9 months. I would not recommend this tv for this motive. It is nice was it works, but unfortunately it is costly every year.

Uncommonly Nice TV
I purchased this TV fro a month ago and it is awesome. Works great with my HTPC on the DVI input. All the present-day gaming systems (including the Wii) look crisp. If you are looking for HD on a big grade for cheap this great. No rainbow effect they include advanced beyond that. Very light and credulous to move. Also very good color. Beau id def will look only ok as with most philanthropic HDTVs but with upscaling DVD players/HTPCs it look catchy solid.

1080p Goodness for the budget-minded!
I commencement wrote this review on another site, and now that I've had more but with this projector I have added and changed a few things and am reposting the magazine on Amazon. I think more people will look to Amazon when purchasing this projector, singularly since the other site is not stocking it anymore. It is hoped this review helps those of you who are on the edge all over purchasing this projector.Pros: Good looking, glaze-white finish. Low-noise fan on normal-bulb SOP. 4000 hours lamp life on econo is greater then most projectors! Chattels enough to use in bright mode to use with lights turned on in the allowance. In the dark, it looks simply amazing!1080p topic looks very good. Blu-rays played from a PS3 (or other blu-ray musician) look awesome. I watched Kung-Fu Panda and was "wowed" by what you can awareness on a much larger screen. I just watched Transformers : Take an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth of the Fallen on it last night and I was amazed at the details and I noticed things I didn't in spite of that...

Initial impressions, unusually pleased
This was an upgrade for me from a 720p, DLP projector (Mitsubishi HD1000u). Initial impressions are Dialect right positive, based on about 10 hours of viewing & tweaking. Rather quiet, and plenty bright running in low power manner. The high resolution (1920 X 1080) approaches that for a classic 2k digital cinema, so my 145" diagonal screen, viewed from around 15 feet distance, provides a very pleasing large screen experience. That said, the increase in resolution from 720p is an incremental discreet, so it is not the be all and end all of image quality in projectors. More specifically the source papers you feed it is what really brings out the quality. Uncountable HD feed materials (from cable or satellite) don't yet approach the inherent resolution of the projector, so at this in the matter of only blu-ray source material will really hand out the utmost in high resolution detail (and not even all disks, depending on the queer fish mastering, etc.). Black levels are similar to my aforesaid DLP projector, so if you are...

Calibration is tougher!!
I possess been playing with the HD20 for last couple of days. I am to not sure what to say. Unlike any of my previous projectors(Optoma HD31 and HD70) it gives u too sundry options to calibrate. I guess that is a good factor. However,I am still struggling with this technique and seems like quite overwhelming to me. Good reaction is picture is much bigger and brighter than HD70. Wonderful wide is a nice option. However, in terms of image details I am still not sure what to say especially with the downloaded HD text. Apparently it needs lot more tweaking( and hard trade) to calibrate it properly. I was reading different forums and there I conclude from that it actually needs 100 odd hours for the bulb to discharge gravitate down. So that might be the reason too. Hence, to summarize, in terms of greatness and brightness, the improvement is significant. But as of now sadly I cannot say that in terms of fancy quality and details. I will keep u updated as I commemorate last continuing the calibration process.Update:...
