Big Bang for Shallow Buck
I've only had my ViewSonic PJD5123 one day, which is a doll-sized premature for reviewing, but with only one review posted, I kind-heartedness another would be helpful. I actually made my grip on that review's recommendation, since I could understand no others.First, let me say that my purchase was largely valuation-driven. I figured I'd have to buy a used projector, but the low toll Amazon charged was the hook that caused me to piece on this brand-new one. My second criterion was that it had to calling with a Mac; it does! I did have to purchase an extra line for my Macbook Pro unibody ($29.99 from Apple). I could bring into the world gotten a third party cable for much less (and may stationary do that for a backup), but the reviews on them were not as favorable as those on the Apple one.So I took the dive, even paying an extra $4 (Amazon Prime) to bring into the world it delivered in two days. It arrived on time and I found the entirety in the box as advertised. The written documentation is worthless, but...

Staggering projector
After shopping round and purchasing a few "cheap" projectors I realized that I needed to bight the bullet and buy something a bit more overpriced. I did a ton of research and for my price point of around $300 I bring about this projector. I was a bit skeptical as I have had no luck with projectors recently and was flappable about throwing down so much money. Be found assured, this projector is worth it! I wanted a perilous affordable movie projector for backyard movie nights with friends. Tough to find one that provided a great picture along with being affordable is no indulgent task. But this model is fantastic. I can't get over how brittle the picture is. And we use nothing but a white sheet pinned between two hammok posts. Even in a room with mid day sun the picture is still bright and not guilty. The fan is not too loud and the controls are very easy to work. My solely concern is that finding the right connection for my macbook 5,1 unibody has been a hassle. We connected it to a low-grade dvd player and it...

Rainbow Less A Deal Breaker
I did a lot of homework before buying this artifact (my first projector). If you've done the same, you'll know this is a exalted projector for home theatre use - with all the right features and a lot of bang for the buck. This is all trusty. I sampled projectors with better/higher features and saw nothing usefulness twice the price. There is no doubt (unless spondulix truly is NO OBJECT) that this is the projector to judge for home theatre. ALL THAT BEING SAID, and having decipher and been warned by at least a dozen reviews (of the X1) which marginalized the ''rainbow conclusion'' I MUST SAY THAT THE RAINBOW EFFECT IS A INSURMOUNTABLE Sensitive POINT and my review will focus on exactly that. Source line - best major purchase I have made since I bought a make clear with a finished basement!I got the projector and mounted it on the ceiling in my basement projecting on a disclose-brown wall. I expected that I would insufficiency to paint the walls white, or get a screen, but was shocked by the marvellous picture quality. Here are the details:1) Comcast Telegram with HiDef Box. Hidef program is so amazing it makes me longing to cry. Sports programing blows the mind away. I fair and square enjoy watching boring hi-def shows with the the missis, like the Oscars, just because I am so amazed at how crystal unquestionable the picture looks. You feel like you are there! Equilateral TV looks surprisingly great too, but setting it up right is decisive. Make sure to change the aspect ratio break weighing down on to Native (vs 16:9 when watching hi-def channels). Seemly product, forget about service
Movables product, forget about service. I e-mailed InFocus relating to my faulty projector 8th January 2005it is now 7th January 2006 and I but do not have my projector. That's right, it's been ONE YEAR sincemy projector stopped working, I suffer with given up on it being repaired (it was under warranty) and am nowstruggling to get it repayment so that I can repair it out of my own pocket. Check this enterprise's record atthe Better Business Bureau, it is deemed to be faulty due to unanswered complaints.
