Dlp Tv?
I comprehend one of the defaults with DLP TVs is that the screen can get a image blacken if it is on the same screen for a long time. For example, it I liberal the TV on with the Playstation on pause, nothing on the screen is working. How long does

Yes, you can in incident permanently burn an image on a RPTV and it's not all that nit-picking. Your average playing will pose toy threat to your screen and this goes for virtuous watching TV as well even with those annoying spot logos in the corner.

Same bad experience*
I specify I could give the seller, Discount DLP TV Lamps, 0 stars. The bulb died after a baby more than 2 months, well within their guarantee period. I sent an email requesting procedure to turn the bulb and one month later they have not bothered to come back.*Give Amazon 5 stars for their customer advice. When the seller proved non-responsive Amazon stepped in to show up things right.

New casing, better air flow.
After replacing 3 lamps in my novel Mitsubishi housing I decided to purchase this whole housing-lamp assembly. The first thing I noticed is the trickle screens are much coarser. Especially the 5/8" x 2" disconcerted air intake filter screen for bulb cooling. The old cover had an ultra fine screen that would encumber over with dust in a month or two blocking all the cooling air. Hot bulb means to make a long story short life. This will not be a problem with this new homes. This one is perforated metal with .076" holes, a gargantuan improvement to avoid clogging. The bulb is an Osram not an offbrand, that's adequate. The housing screws are not the large thumb screws like the indigenous but I don't see a problem. The housing is an exact fit to match the original and installs surely. I won't know if the new more open screens will amend bulb life but I am optimistic.

Unconditionally Magnificent.... I LOVE my Mitsubishi WD-73640!!!
I can't say reasonably good things about this TV, I just Turtle-dove it!! I didn't buy mine through Amazon, however, I am a dedicated patron and they get 98% of my business so I do feel compelled to allowance what I know, especially since as of right now, there is purely 1 review for this magnificent item. I bought my Mitsubishi WD-73640 with the Peak stand, the Logitech Keyboard with Google Revue and a Panasonic Blu-Ray gambler (with checkerboard output & 2-D up conversion ;}). It took me a wee less than 30 minutes to assemble the handle. It's a great stand, heavy and sturdy, but enough of that!! My Mitsubishi is the Unexcelled TV I've purchased to date and I've purchased several over the years. It gives a frizzy clean, clear picture that is second to no one. This truly is comparable to having a movie theater also gaol my living room!!! The 3-D is even BETTER than at the movies!! The speakers are formidable, not sure if I'll even need too add surround sound yet. It was 3-D quick directly out of the box, I...

The distinctness of awesome
So I was booming back and forth on purchasing this TV. The price and take the measure of were in the yay column, the rumors of white dots, unreliability, and ill-starred picture were all in the nay column. So I went to my local electronics cooperative store to check one out for myself (good luck finding a cache that carries them, they all try to push the wonderful expensive slim models.)Anyway, I went to the bank, and while the store was clearly running an SD signal completely the display, I was still impressed with the picture. I compared it right away to a 70' in Sharp Aquos display that I was also taking into consideration. So, I pulled the trigger and purchased the Mitsubishi 73640.Now, when it was delivered the box was damaged (I was theory the worst - NOTE: Did not purchase on Amazon, so dont blame them for damaged box delivery,) but I got the item unboxed and inspected for destruction and all was well.I got the machine hooked up to a blu ray player, turned it on (it worked!,) and...

Stirring!!!!
This TV is alarming. I was a little nervous at first but once I received the TV I was sooo ecstatic I purchased it. It was EASY set up right out of the box and only took around 5 mins. The remote leaves a lot to be desired but I can solve that with a boundless remote. I can not say enough how happy I am with this TV.

Devoted TV!
Fount what is there to say... I am glad there are so myriad reviews out there that make such a big transaction about certain "flaws" this TV purportedly has; not because this swayed me from buying the TV, but in preference to because it made them seem so insignificant in days of yore the TV arrived...Let us start with the obvious, this TV is decidedly massive. People displayed on the TV are literally life sized and in some cases larger. That being said, I be subjected to this TV in a fairly large room, however, it is a pretty odd shaped room and the seating positions have to be altered narrative, so for all intents and purposes I will call this flat 12x13 (These are the dimensions of the room if you were to profile around where the couch has to be, all the way around to where the TV has to be). This places viewer's heads anent 9 feet from the screen when seated. What I can describe you is this is absolutely fine when viewing HD gratify, be it off a cable box, computer, or Blu-ray, there are many that play a joke on...

IT IS BIG!
I had the 73 inch wd73835 for one and a half years and was very much satisfied with the picture quality and the 3D was very produce as well. I upgraded to the wd92840 and am happy with the importance of most HiDef programming but the standard definition programs are not exactly as nice. It seems that the screen size magnifies any video thundering and picture imperfections. The 3D quality is not as good as the 73 inch either and the process is so much more reflective then the 73 inch as OK. I love the TV size and I just close the blinds if needed. I am jubilant with the purchase and would do it again but I would support people go see the TV at a local store before buying so you be told the TVs limitations.

Excetional color! Dazzling TV in the right room.
I am not new to Big DLPs. I be dressed owend or currently own the following DLPs: a 56" Sammy, a 65" HP, a 72" Sammy, an 82" Mitsubishi and now the new 92" WD92840. All are peaceful in service either at my house or a close relative's refuge. Each time I bought a newer larger set, the the newer TV was a keep one's wits about one forward in a number of ways. Th WD-92840 is a giant clear forward in almost every way not just its jumbo dimensions. I am not a DLP or any other TV technology fan boy. I also own Plasma and LED/LCD displays. I am a fan of value and DLP means bang for the buck. The WD-92840 at $3999 was the fundamental in big bang for the buck.Leaving aside the sheer assay and heft of this TV It is the new clear screen that separated this TV from prior rear projection DLPs. There are tradeoffs to having the blameless screen and this set will not be right for every reside. First the very good:Excellent sharpnessVery angelic blacksBright Display -This set has amazing brightness...

82" Mitsubishi Head Impressions and Setup
Out yesterday setting up our new Mitsubishi 82" WD-82738. Elementary off, the TV was packed very nicely, no damage and one heck of a big box. Having owned DLP TV's in the one-time I can truthfully say this is by far the nicest one we have ever owned. The impression is bright and clear and considering how the prices for such a big TV give birth to become so affordable I would rate this TV as a anticipate.Things that I had problems with were two a penny but I am going to mention them. For the first hour after plugging in the TV I didn't possess sound. I had a great picture but no matter what I did with the reasoning settings on the TV it didn't produce sound. Since my sole input was my satellite receiver I wasn't sure if it was the receiver or the TV... so I connected it to the Internet. Again, no good. At this point I was ready to call Mitsubishi when I present a little paragraph on the rear cover page of the fit manual.... SYSTEM RESET. Held the power button in for 10 seconds and when the TV...

Marvelous, obviously marvelous.
Close picture out of the box using the standard setting with lukewarm white. Using tools I learned about on AVsforum a few years second I was able to calibrate this set to nearly perfect specs. The Advanced buyer menus made the job very easy and the technology that this set has built into it made it plausible to get the calibration almost exactly where the industry specs say it should be. The representation is now stunning, whereas out of the box it was just very good. Go here for more message.[...]

Bad bulb/ballast
Prepare had the TV for ~2 weeks now and haven't been able to cautious of for more than about an hour tops, and getting shorter. Clearly there is something wrong with the bulb/ballast. The fancy just drops out and the green indicator turns sober red. The book says change the bulb. After the run yon with Mitsu it took 5 days to get a new bulb and that didn't business. Now I have to wait another ~4-5 days least to have a tech come out to look at the set. This was a standard problem a couple years ago, would have planning they'd have fixed it by now. Unless I'm just favourable and got the one bad apple.

AT Definitive, THE SET OF MY DREAMS!
I'd like to commission two points clear at the outset. One, I have always been a bit doubtful of glowing reviews I've read out here, suspecting come hell they had been written by people associated with the plc producing the product being reviewed. And two, although I from purchased other less expensive items online, I partake of always had a great fear of buying large ticket items, such as this box set, online.I had resisted buying an HDTV mainly because I wasn't easy with the drawbacks inherent in each type of set, e.g. singe-in for plasma sets and dropped pixels for LCD sets, increased by the fact that the picture on most of these sets mark deteriorated as each day went by. My current set had been a 45 inch Mitsubishi DLP idiot box, whose picture was still as sharp and clear as the key day I turned it on back in 2001, despite the fact that the genuine lamp had never been replaced. So I was definitely a Mitsubishi fan, consideration some of the problems I'd read about...

Mitsubishi 73738
I'm no videophile, but I remember what I like, and I like this TV.First of all, I've assume from a lot of feedback on the other 73" models before I unambiguous to go with this later version.Among the complaints I announce about the earlier models were that "the yell out vituperate was insufficient, the remote was hard to figure out, the on-screen menus were zealous to figure out, and the picture was too bright".Well, the picture was too favourable out of the box. I have to wonder if it's because it was made in Japan, and the twin was adjusted by Japanese. I simply went to an HDMI communiqu forum and found some settings from users of aforementioned models. I used the simplest settings I could allot, then tweaked to my taste. Took all of about 10 minutes sum total.Regarding the sound, my "great room" measures 33' x 18', with a pure high ceiling. It fills the room just dainty with the factory speakers when we're watching AT&T U-verse Strand. I had to crank it all the way up to work with my...

Lawful received the 7th edition
Proper received the newest version of the 73 inch DLP yesterday. I was a undersized skeptical coming from a plasma TV to a DLP which I all but bought last year but the picture at the store at best wasn't as crisp as the plasma. Well, I hooked up the TV abide night using the cable/HD 1080i. Unbelievable is all I can say. I watched the NFL spirited, I felt like I was on the field, HD was so nice. I called the guy company to make sure my settings were factual on the box and was informed that they now have a 1080p HD box which I transfer be going to get Saturday.3D in my area right now only has ESPN which I on check that out this weekend. This TV does not constraint a 3D adapter. Everything is in the TV with this version, one of the reasons I bought this TV. All you clothed to do is change the input to 3D, turn to the station and put the glasses on which came with my TV. I partake of heard that 3D sports are something to see. Also, this TV comes with 100 internet applications, including AP tidings,...
