Samsung Lcd Monitor?

I decent got a new Samsung LCD monitor, 2333SW. It says the optimal resolution settings are 1920 x 1080. However, my computer won't let me choice anything higher than 1280 x 1024. Is there anything I can do?

You poverty a better graphics card or settle for a lower single-mindedness.

Cyclopean Monitor
I recently purchased the Samsung B2230 to substitute for an old 19 inch Samsung monitor. I thought the older monitor looked eximious but this one is fantastic. The colors are more vibrant and it is a 16:9 angle ratio compared to the older 16:10. This means that most widescreen movies no longer drink the black bars on the top and bottom. The controls are touch subtle and took a while for me to get used to but are easy to get used to. The older ideal I had to reach underneath to hit the buttons and for the B2230 I have to use my digit be on the labeled menu itself right below the Samsung logo. The monitor is beautiful with its all black design with 1 blue nimble to show that its on. The monitor can reach full 1080p with a 1920 x 1080 inborn resolution. It does lack a HDMI input and on the contrary has a DVI and VGA input but for $170.00 this 21.5" monitor is a steal I am danged happy with this purchase.

Superlative price, basic LCD monitor
I bought this monitor to renew my failing Acer LCD monitor. What I don't like:1) Sleek black bezel... why is everything glossy ebony nowadays?2) No height adjustment.3) Driver disk insists on using IE in preference to of Firefox... to install a driver? What I like:1) Ooo la la, sensitive price!2) Easy to assemble and use.3) Most grave: *Gorgeous image quality*! The facsimile quality is absolutely superb. I don't know if I was just favourable or what, but I had no bad pixels. PLUS the colors are rich, and abstract is nice and clear.4) If you don't mind the glossy wrathful, and the "no height adjustment possible".... it's a very pleasant looking monitor. Very stylish. One oval foot. It has one plumb discreet blue light in front that is dim and not annoying. Ordinarily it is modern and modest looking.5) SAMSUNG. They possess a very high, very good reputation, both for importance and for customer support.6) The screen...

Capital Quality
I bought this for my 80yo dad as a gift - replacing his tiny 15" monitor. It was a radical unlikeness and he is very thankful for the extra room. He really likes the gifts to have 2 windows open side-by-side with the talents to see them both at the same time. The picture is absolutely crisp and clear, and the setup was a snap. I have an Acer in the still and all size, and the Samsung actually seemed a little sharper. Undoubtedly recommend!

Proper Monitor for the price
Purchased this monitor as an add-on for my effort laptop (Lenovo T510) for home use. Very precarious picture, after I finished tweaking the settings. I'm using a Flash port to HDMI adapter cable from monoprice to mention this monitor into my laptop. Setup was easy with Windows 7, objective plug it in. I did have to spend some time tweaking the air settings to get the picture right. Specifically, if you are using this as a PC monitor (not as a TV) you distress to go into the setup menu and change it from AV vogue to PC mode. This improved the picture quality essentially. Text that seemed blurry became breakable. You should also tweak the brightness and contrast until it looks elevated, as the factory settings can be ridiculous on these things.I'm running it in it's national resolution of 1920x1080. Haven't tried the Samsung software, but I may set this up when I include some time. Definitely a great buy at $200 on Amazon.Just real cons to this product are the tricky soup controls on the...

Blunt nice monitor
Lively Review:PRO: By far the nicest, cleanest picture I've ever had using a monitor. Staggering color and clarity, plus supports RGB for older monitors, HDMI for a TV/design input, and DVI for a normal computer display.CON: No buttons. Face touchpanel not friendly to my ogre hands. While you comprehend this review, you'll think I'm an idiot for having irk turning the thing on and getting it to switch to the right display (yes, I tried the 'power' and 'Provenience' buttons). But I just might have my comeuppance when you're sitting in fa of a darkened monitor that won't display anything. Some fiddling/fortunes/time got it working and it's been a champ since.PS: This monitor (at habits of review) is listed under 3D monitors on amazon.com. It is not 3D close to for Nvidia's 3D tech, and at 60Hz, the best you'd get is 30fps 3D, if your graphics bank card card joker even supports that. However, even though I bought this monitor on the off-speculation that it was 3D compatible, I'm still...

Best monitor by Samsung as usual, but worse software ever
I'm giving this monitor an okay because physically, it's a noble piece of work. The colors are great and i use it to play Starcraft 2 and Brand-new Warfare.Size is great for a computer monitor and HDMI and CRT connections to computers is virgin. My only gripe, which is kinda of a big one is that Samsung's monitor software doesn't travail.. at least it's completely INCOMPATIBLE with Windows 7. Whenever it is installed on Windows and runs, my computer pretty much restarts itself every bootup. For that reason causing me to not be able to start my computer at all. I had to use system resurrect and go back to before i installed Samsung's monitor software to fix the problem. It would play a joke on been a great idea if the software works - to be skilled to control all monitor settings via computer desktop. but oh wellz. I use it like a stable HD monitor. Amazon offered a great price when i got it. Farm this day, i have not seen a 1080p 24" monitor with peer specs at near the...

Dual LCD Monitor Stand desk clamp holds up to 24" lcd monitors

$129.95

  • Fully adjustable
  • Holds up to 24 inch lcd extensive screen monitors
  • Calmly to install Desk clamp

Customer Reviews

Extremely solid, especially for the price
Clamps to the desk with two tell screws, which doesn't seem like it would be exceedingly stable, but once installed it's rock solid. No wobble, it doesn't perceive or look cheap. Very solid, relatively effortless to install; height adjustment is only possible for both monitors at a interval, not individually, but that's no big drawback. Cable clamps along each arm, which endure a bit flimsy but work. Comes with a surprisingly honourable, big, rubber coated allen wrench to tighten the swindle that holds the arms vertically. Quick setting of the monitors is not possible, so it's a set-it-and forget-it mount. If you need to mediate monitor height frequently (such as transitioning from sitting to erect), this one's not for you. It's no-frills, but very good build status. I don't think I'd be able to find another monitor mount of this rank for this price.

Way mastery than expected given the price
This adhere to is extremely sturdy and adjustable. I've had it for over a year now and have planned not had any problems with it. When I first bought it, I was enceinte something satisfactory at best, given the low price. Every other VESA mount I had seen was at least spitting image to quadruple the price, so I figured I'd be cheap and get something that works scarcely. Instead, this stand exceeded my expectations in every class. It mounts easily, is solid, looks good, and lets me button up the display's tilt and angle with ease.

Picked up this remain standing over the holidays. It has excellent quality! I have 2 Samsung 23" monitors mounted on it with no problems. VESA screws that came in the kit worked champion. Unit is very adjustable, tilt, pan, height, etc etc. It staid looks great!. If you are looking to clean up the medley that sits in and around your monitor bases then this fits the reckoning. Even comes with built in clips to bring off your cords! I would highly recommend.

This monitor is a Ought to have! I am a picky Mom! Read here to see what others didn't put.
Ok, I own a type "A" personailty and I reserched the heck out of several monitors. I be dressed been shopping around for the "perfect" monitor for months buying and returning until I organize found what I want. (My son is 6 months old) I experience tried several brands/types of video monitors such as Sony, Summer Infant monitors, and a Costco label that can be used via the internet and Iphone/Ipad2. This Motorola monitor is the Pre-eminent that I have found. Money was not an issue for me as I wanted a video/audio monitor that simply worked well. I do recommend spending a little more and buying the 3.5 inch monitor.Ok, what to say that has not been covered in other opinionated posts.....The resolution at night is awesome as I can see my babe in arms breathing. (VERY important) I can see everything in profound detail. The camera views best when mounted on the breastwork close to the crib-this way it can scan straight down and undeviating up viewing the entire crib and room. I originally placed it on a "obstacle...

Tucker monitor on the market
This monitor is surprising. Over the last 3 and a half years I have bought and returned undoubtedly 5 monitors. We ended up with a Summer monitor for the first 2.5 years, then it at length broke and replaced it with a Summer Bestview. The at worst problem is that model (bought in January 2011) is discontinued and with a inferior merchandise baby on the way we need a second camera which is no longer on tap. I have been researching for weeks now, reading every notice on Amazon and other sites and decided to order the Motorola MBP36.When I wrote this reassessment a few weeks ago, a second monitor was not available anywhere. Although they are not within reach on Amazon yet (as of 9/1/2011), they are available online at other greater baby stores where you "buy" stuff for babies (trace hint). I just ordered one today, which now makes this the experienced monitor.PROS- LCD UnitFirst of all, the LCD screen is huge. It is 3.5" diagonally. For relevance, and iPhone is also 3.5". The...

This is the champion after trying two other similar monitors
Elementary of all, I've tried 3 different baby monitors with the blind. What I expected/wanted from the baby monitors are these:1) Kindly quality of the screen so I can see my baby (even breathing: thorax ' going up and down at night)2) Easy of use (I legitimate hate anything that is a pain to use)3) Camera pan/zoom choice (My baby moves around and I like having camera tight to him, so this is a really good feature to have)So, let me excuse how those three monitors performed.First one is Motorola Digital Video Babe in arms Monitor with 3.5 Inch Color LCD Screen (At Amazon standard price: 229.99)This one is the winner. It has a good picture distinction, zoom in, is really easy to use. That's it. It satisfied all those three categories. Other take I also liked but not necessary are,, talk back, lullaby (unquestionably, kinda useless for my baby). I wish it was made with a unimportant better quality plastic (compared to other two I've tried) and want it had clock on the...
