The 3rd fathering's a charm
Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players to the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (leading & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one make of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and thoroughly mocked) Zunes are.I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: accepted Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people troublesome to decide between a Zune and an iPod. There are other players significance considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I prospect this gives you enough info to make an learned decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod trade as well.)Zune and iPod: Most people approach the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly unimaginative and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Mention and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED colander...

Has total a long way since the "brick" Zune
Zune was the laughing sheep a couple of years ago when Microsoft released the "chum" 1st-gen Zune. A joke went around about Microsoft's crummy attempt to enter the "iPod market." So a year passed, and Zune remained a witticism in the consumer electronics world and had to endure the jeers and persecute of the Apple crowd. When the 2nd Gen Zunes came out, the Zune maker slowly started to see redemption. The Zune 80gb was deemed the outset decent competitor to the iPod, but the brand was still in rescue from its hazing. But for the first time, Microsoft has developed a Zune player that can at long last use the words "downright sexy" to describe it. The Zune maker image is building up quickly with the release of the Zune HD, XBOX Live out integration, and much-needed marketing. With the prompt rise of the iPod Touch and iPhone, it's no surprise Microsoft came up with a touchscreen pocket media player of its own. However, this is not a copy of the iPod begin at all. Sure the...

The Cutting+ does everything it needs to, and nothing it doesn't.
I owned the first creation clip, and the new 8gb clip+ retains everything that was lofty about the first while adding all around refinements.Pros:- Total build quality has improved, but especially with the fasten mechanism.- Files on MicroSD integrate seemlessly with the on plank memory.- The volume and power buttons have more ergonomic hiring on the device.- Sound quality remains great.- Audiobook files can be sped up slight to save some "reading" time.- The interface is a scant smoother and nicer to move through.- The square trackpad makes it easier to steer without looking at the player. (good for runners)Cons:- No cap on the MicroSD hollow, so that could potentially get dirty. If you don't need gimmicks such as be on an equal footing with screens and web browsers, then this player is quite by any chance the best on the market for value, size, and quality. The Swindle+ is definitely worth the few extra bucks over what...

Cyclopean upgrade to an already great budget player
If all you are looking for is a accomplished sounding, small, cheap mp3 player with a display and expandability options, then the bit + is your best choice. This is very alike resemble to the old clip with the following major differences:- two negligible button placement changes (improvement)- UI is a bit smoother (menus scroll now)- book normalizing/gain- micro-SD slot for up to 16 added gigs (which is gargantuan)- a little thicker, probably due to SD support- clip is no longer removable (depending on your partiality, this is a good or bad thing-guess you could moral rip it off and file it down if you wanted to)As always, it sounds artistic and blows away the iPod Shuffle in terms of value. So clobber chance and small--great for the gym. If you need your mp3 player to play games, surf the internet or adequate double purpose as a grocery list, then this isn't for you, but if you're on a budget or perfectly need something that plays music and does so adequately, this is the one.

In actuality nice technical improvements, but didn't need to "fix" the exterior of it.
So recently, because I attraction my Sansa Clip so much for exercising, and I thought I could use one more, I picked one of these up at Bestbuy. I be struck by used it for about a week so I can't say anything about the longetivity of the new Rate Plus, but I can tell you about everything else. First off I will give you the cons since there is at worst one and that is also only about preference. I as for oneself LOVED the sleek look of the original sansa excerpt, but that has been replaced with a sort of glittery cease on the front. That is about it and to add to this, everything else from the surface such as the plastic used has been revamped to seem to be better in your hands and is just overall punter quality. Now on to the most important part, the features. The basic thing that sets this apart from the character clip is the addition of a microSD card slot. This can boost up to a 32gb microSD card, so if you were to pair one with this, you could potentially get a 36(!)gb tribute for this puny little item. That is the...

Nothing to create home about
Having bought Original MP3 players almost exclusively for years, I have to say I'm deep down disappointed with this one. Other reviewer's comments near the device being slow are dead on. With in every direction 26,000 songs on it (almost full capacity), it takes up to 4 minutes moral for it to boot to the menu then another 1-2 minutes to responsibility the "Random Play All" playlist. It does zero interfile indexing from what I can tell and has to recache the laundry list every single time, which is rather frustrating at times.Battery spark of life is acceptable; I can generally go around 7 hours solid at hilarious volume and deleting songs along the way (which seems to use more battery power) without issueThe SD humorist slot /still/ does not integrate into the player's menu make-up (even though I had heard it said this one did). Any songs, pictures, or videos on the SD credit card have to be accessed through the SD card menu...not Video, Music, or Pictures. Oh, and if the monogram boots with an SD card in it...it stops to cache it...

Worst Resourceful Player I've Owned
I take owned two other Creative MP3 players. I loved both of them, but upgraded as I outgrew the storage lapse. I now need an MP3 player with at least 32GB of space, so I ordered another Artistic MP3 player. The first thing that frustrated me was the packaging. Others distinguished this, but let me repeat it, because it's absolutely worth idea that you nearly need a stick of dynamite to get the player out of the packaging. Fortunately, , but still with that it was truly a challenge. One could not wholly cut away the plastic that sealed in 3 sides. The simply way to get into the package was from the bottom and one really needed a sucker to cut away at it. I do not know how I would have opened if I didn't comprise that tool.It came fully charged. That was refined.The...

The Sock+ does everything it needs to, and nothing it doesn't.

Capacious upgrade to an already great budget player
If all you are looking for is a loyal sounding, small, cheap mp3 player with a display and expandability options, then the part + is your best choice. This is very equivalent to the old clip with the following major differences:- two adolescent button placement changes (improvement)- UI is a bit smoother (menus scroll now)- mass normalizing/gain- micro-SD slot for up to 16 added gigs (which is tremendous)- a little thicker, probably due to SD support- clip is no longer removable (depending on your prejudice, this is a good or bad thing-guess you could honourable rip it off and file it down if you wanted to)As always, it sounds excessive and blows away the iPod Shuffle in terms of value. So happen and small--great for the gym. Famed MP3 Player
I arrange that many people are not great when it comes to come near controls. With that said, this result will not be for everyone. For me personally, I have no issues with arouse control. When I bought this mp3 player, I immediately upgraded the firmware via Sansa Updater (which I authoritatively recommend you do). They are constantly releasing updates for their mp3 players to reveal them better. Their latest firmware update improves the responsiveness of the use controls. So if you are having problems with it, make certain you update your firmware to see if that will help.Audio bright, this mp3 player is a beast! Way better than my original Sansa Fuze. It can get unquestionably loud. I mainly use Rhapsody with it and there are altogether no problems with it. The only thing that degree bothers me is that it puts a white border all the album art if its not big enough. But thats easy to get used to. The trannie player on here is amazing also. You can even record broadcasts. I fool yet to use the...

"Hello! I identify I'm not an iPod, but I'll try real hard to please you!"
As humans, we on occasion tend to personify our gadgets. Having witnessed the fact in others, I'm happy to see I'm not the only one (a psychologist could excuse it better, but it probably stems from our post-toddler, indiscernible friend/stuffed animal days, but no matter). So if this bit MP3 player could speak, I reckon it would probably say something like, "Hi there! I recall I'm not as full-blooded as an iPod Touch or as sleekly designed as an iPod Nano, but I'll occupation real hard to make you happy. Honest!"Sooner, a bit of history: I've owned iPods since late 2003 when I bought a smart new 15 GB third generation iPod. Back then, fashionable phones had yet to come of age and if you wanted a high-capacity MP3 player, Apple were justified about the only game in town. It helped matters immensely that my iPod was so unquestionably constructed since I used it day in, day out for five years until it inexorably died and I replaced it with a fourth generation iPod Nano. That Nano unfaltering *seemed* solid...

Do NOT buy a Fuze+, look for an older original.
Having bought an indigenous Fuze for myself and one for my wife and having convinced two co-workers to buy the eccentric Fuze, you could say I am a fan.I wanted to buy my father one as a Christmas hand-out and thought it would be nice to pre-load it with old days radio shows (my main use of the original Fuze). I deliberation that the new Fuze+ would be an improvement, but I was badly wide of the mark.First off, the new Fuze+ does not have folders. If you be struck by 1,000 episodes you have to scroll through all of them, as opposed to scrolling in all respects folders that list them by show (i.e., if you force Jack Benny, Fred Allen, and Henry Morgan you do not see folders, but slightly all of the individual files). The start up is cruelly slow now.The drug interface is unwieldy and the buttons are overly sensitive. Yes, it looks more like an Apple consequence, but it does not work as well as a Sansa Fuze (innovative).I expected there to be some issues in figuring...

New Android MP3 Player is Not What You Think…

What is indeed noteworthy is the inclusion of digital noise-cancelling, which is a main film previously only available in its high-end Walkman audio players. Battery moving spirit is a healthy 30 hours for MP3 playback (24 hours with alarms cancelling on), but that figure is 20 hours less than the aforementioned model. The new NW-E060 series --due in Japan on February 11--last will and testament only come in 2GB (NW-E062) and 4GB (NW-E063) options, which is far less province than its predecessor (which went up to 16GB). I am wondering if the sell for of integrating digital noise-cancelling contributed to these cuts. This year, Sony's reanimate of its entry-level E-Series Walkman line is much strange from previous generations. Music playback with this opportunity enabled is rather amazing, as it nearly removes disruptive ambient rumbling in its entirety. Outwit Value for 32 GB MP3 Player.
