Mini rec
I like the recorder but the portrait fails to mention that a ac/dc connection line can not be originate. I even called the manufacture and was informed they did not be undergoing one. I went every where but no success. The wattage is not listed on the recorder so you can not but one from your nearby electronic store. Suggest you buy a AA battery charger as you are succeeding to need it. I was irritated that after I complained to Amazon the expenditure dropped $10.00.

Benefit recorder that includes external mic for better recording and record counter
A reviewer complained that a power adapter was not included - not any of the competitors include one either, and they are available if needed - see one of the common adapters on Amazon that includes a 3 volt DC output - the papers with the recorder say the adapter should be rated at 200 mA (milliamps) or more. Most of the boundless adapters will be rated much higher than that 200 mA, which is powdered; that just indicates that they could oversee a much greater load than this produces. One I saw listed on Amazon is overkill, but would industry: There are 2 tapes included not one. The included clip-on mic is cheaply, as you might imagine, but it gives better recordings than the built-in mic, which picks up the motor discordance and tape noise as do all the competitors I've heard. The built in mic is as...

This is a ailing made product (which I should have expected for $20). After 1 month of use the buttons set up fallen off and it is not reliable. Spend a little more spondulicks and get a decent recorder that doesn't fall separate.

Skilled package
I use minicassette recorders on interviews a lot, and this one is a loyal recorder for the price. It's small enough to fit in a shirt purloin (and nicely slim as well), and the ergonomics are good: undemanding to play back, fast-forward, etc. It has all the basic controls you destitution. I can't speak for the sound relative to others, but for voice, it's more than adept enough. It picks up voices quite distinctly equanimous in a relatively noisy environment. I also like the battery incriminate in, so I always know when I need to bring in addition batteries, which last a pretty long epoch. I also can't speak for reliability, but I've had no problems in the six months I've been using it. The just caveats are that the microphone/earphone jack is smaller than ones utilized by other recorders, so you need an adapter or a mike/earphone with trifling plugs, and that it doesn't come with an AC power cater to. But overall, it's great.

Olympus Microcassette Recorder
I purchased this yield and found that it was of relatively poor construction je sais quoi. After reasonable normal use the cassette door hinge on one's beam-ends. I elected not to send it back for repair as my need for this accoutrements passed, but I was surprised that such a key element of the recorder would be so rickety.

One Okay
I was disposed this as an unexpected & thoughtful gift, but after working with it a bit, I don't about I'd chose the Olympus again. One basic design fissure is that it doesn't stand up very well on it's contemplate rounded base. You can balance it, but it will topple finished at the slightest disturbance. I compared it with my friend's Panasonic RN505 which is largely heavier, but has a bigger, better speaker & is more steadfast. When I played my tape on her machine it seemed as if the microphones on both were comparable.

Starkly as a bell?
This is a definitely handy device to keep with you. It is compact, and effortless to work with. I recorded a television show, and when I played it, the dive was very clear! Even with all things in the late ground, didn't get any interference. I just carry it with me, in a rip off or purse. Only thing is, I need longer video (90 minutes), for school lectures. But they can be institute just about anywhere. You will like it first of all if you are new to micro cassette tape recorders. Great price too!

Although the recording distinction is acceptable, I was very disappointed that the recorder did not take built-in jacks for external headphones and a microphone.

Sony delivers sober performance and build quality
I virtually did not buy this product after reading all of the negative reviews but my sustain has been that you need to take reviews with a whit of salt.I have much experience with tons recorders over the last decade. I own a high end Olympus L250, Panasonic, and other misc analog recorders. I also own some leading end digital recorders. I prefer micro cassette for their disburden of use, easy archive, independence from other electronic devices such as a computer! And partly because of nostalgia. This Sony is larger suited for close dictation then for lecture. For lectures you power be disappointed unless your professor talks snazzy. For classroom use I would recommend either a higher end Olympus digital, the hearing quality and sensitivity are incredible on those. An analog module with an external microphone would be my second determination, this Sony model does not have a microphone jack. I also own the Sony M-670V which has well-advised b wealthier clarity and more sensitivity. It is better...

Lady of the press's Take
I bought this reel recorder less than a year ago and I am already in the buy for another one. First of all, don't believe the product description. This would be obnoxious for recording lectures. Even if you are right up against your discussion subject, if there is other noise in the room you will-power not pick his voice up clearly.Recently, interviews be suffering with started to be cut off in the middle with the rest of the tape unblemished noise. And if you are outdoors, if there is a slight breeze, all you determination hear is the roar of the wind. (But no voice.)Yuck.

From a schoolchild's viewpoint
I indeed liked this recorder. I've been using it to make a notation of lectures for my AP US history class and its working pretty gifted. Although, I do agree with the issue of the motor making a buzzing thundering, though I can still hear my teacher pretty undoubtedly.
