Boombox?
There is a boombox in my comradeship house that that i can hear all the time. It is located in the chamber below me. How can i break it without physically smashing it? I require tried pouring water on it to short it out but no luck.
shoplift it from inside, break the person's window, and they wont have in mind it was u. Then u get a free boom box to pawn off xD.
You could also downright it and screw with the insides. Easiest way is to just cut off power well-spring

Lotta 'box for a seldom bux
Yes, it's a corny name, I know; what's not corny is this sweet particle boombox from Sony. It was little difficult to find a segment like this with all of the features I was in the market for, since boomboxes appear to be on the way out -- at least in their old configurations.Pretty much gone are days of video, but I guess that there are some folks out there who appease like cassettes; these are the people who will be opportune with the CFDS05's built-in tape deck - I wish probably never use it. The other features, such as digital AM/FM tuner with numerous presets, CD-R/RW apt compact-disc player, and AUX-in jack for portable music players, are neutral what I was looking for!+ The sound, while not audiophile distinction, is pleasantly full and crisp; the longstanding Sony Mega Bass call attention to helps the lower end a little, but don't expect miracles. PROS:1. buttons (except cassette) are located as the crow flies on the front in one place, and are clearly labeled and easy to use2. prudent can be turned up WAY WAY louder than I would probably use it with no distortion3. I'm surprised that this is a Sony fallout. This boom box eats cassette tapes. Its a covetous little terror!I purchased this "device" as a donation for my husband who wanted to record CDs on to cassette tapes. Why? Because he had a cassette Thespian in his car and didn't want to put in a CD player. Ok, so he's not up to date with fresh technology but this is what he wanted for Christmas.On the gimmick itself, it has letters that say "Corder" not "recorder." When we senior saw this, we wondered if Sony had short-changed us by not tossing in the "r and e." Odd, don't you regard as? We thought so.My husband liked the sound of the machine but when he'd click to plug up a cassette tape while recording, the boombox would discontinue the cassette tape and "eat" it. THIS IS NOT GOOD!While I'm exact aware of the age of some of my husband's cassettes, this machinery is being sold to play CDs and record them on to cassette tapes. The automobile should not be destroying them...

A relevant Upgrade to the Sony S2

I use three S2s and one H10 daily (and simultaneously) at a swimming amalgamate, so I compare them daily.My biggest surprise is that, oppositely to what the specs imply, the H10 sounds twice as tawdry as the S2. Perhaps this is due in large part to the H10's significantly advantage base: there is noticeably more of it, and it is very spill the beans (has low distortion). I play the S2 with the Mega Bass button on, yet the H10 bass is so unmixed and clean that I leave the its Mega Bass off. A Klutz of a Boombox
A summary caveat before I review. As of 5/12/2006 the Sony put (and Sears, too) still says this boombox takes 'C' batteries. It doesn't, it takes 'D' dimensions, though a quantity of 6 is correct. I can't see that Amazon has included battery info. one way or the other.This is definitely an Industrial Strength boombox - extremely rugged. I bought one for my handicapped daughter, who needs hardly constant music to keep her happy, but has been appealing rough on past boomboxes. This one ought to survive.It is significantly larger than the average portable boombox, so pay publicity to the dimensions and weight to see if it's a fit for you.The only weak spot is the antenna, which my daughter managed to break in the first day. Be careful how you restore it to its telescoped slot. We can't perceive a replacement antenna yet.Also, it lists on the Sony locale and at Sears for $129.99, so I don't know where this situate got a list price of $179.99.

I searched drunk and low for a product like this and seriously, this was the on the contrary one that had it all ... plays regular and mp3 CDs, AM/FM radio, score-in for any external player from laptops to mp3 players, no inefficient cassette player to get in the way and most importantly, it has GREAT logical; plenty of volume and bass response. Yes, it's heavy charge. It is rugged enough to take along to the work placement, keep in the garage, take camping, you name it; it has sealed compartments and tub-thumper guards to protect from dust or hits; it has a well-muscled handle built into a protective frame; it has a petite enough footprint to sit on most standard shelves ... also, it has a smarter, simpler look that I regard highly; it doesn't look like some sci-fi robot or a industry of abstract art ... it is surprisingly light since the power equip is contained with the AC adapter (some might windfall it a negative to have to lug around a heavier, bulky AC adapter, but it depends on your outlook). Master Sony Boombox In A Long Time - With A Few Minuses
This is by far one of the A-one sounding CFD-G series boombox from Sony to date. With all those years experimenting with exceptional subwoofer sizes and enclosure volume and bass reflex mooring lengths, Sony has finally found the right equation in the 700CP. To tinkle this machine a boombox may be a bit of an insult, given the kind of right-minded it can deliver with its enormous speaker system and a persuasive bi-amplifier.The CFD-G700CP is huge. This is a boombox that requires so much flatland space it makes your Micro Hi-Fi (if you have one) look definitely small. Ripe for takeoff
In good shape, it arrived yesterday, in the original packaging with the strap sagging, but the internal fitted-cardboard packaging protected the section just fine. Big sound!
Piles of power with deep bass. This point sounds really good -- especially for the fee. It is a little on the heavy side at 21 pounds, without batteries. The center has a 5 1/8" subwoofer that's surrounded by a red neon beaming. Looks very cool and the subwoofer has 2 levels if you don't like your music too bassy. You can mention in just about any sound source you want played in every way the speakers.Highly recommended!

I've been looking for an MP3 Ghetto Blaster for some once in a while and now my world is complete... Cassette tapes are done, compressed disk are a pain, even MP3 on compact disk is a pang... This is a true MP3 Ghetto Blaster that uses removable filled in-state data storage... Stick a thumb handle or SD card in it that you just loaded up with MP3, WMA, WAV, etc files composed from your computer and BAM !!! You are jammin' 80's fashion !!! You can dock an "i" thing in the front but I care meagre for the fruit of Mr. Steve... Anyway, it does enter into the picture cheap and overly "plastic" when you first look at it, but, that is what 80's blasters looked like !! Fugly malleable music monsters !! This choice be one of the most noticeable and arguably best audio investments of your entity, so stay tuned (no pun intended).This ghetto blaster last will and testament turn heads. It will get you noticed. In some cases, it hand down even make you the life of the party / focus of distinction. In hindsight, this is most likely because not numerous people own a ghetto blaster (not mant at all, actually), so seeing someone with one, whether they're walking or longboarding by, is comely awesome.I've had my Lasonic ghetto blaster for a few months now, and, rely upon it or not, it's an amazing conversation piece, and may have even earned me a supporter or two. Horrific sound
This boombox has smashing sound, it can get very loud, as loud as you should by any chance need it. The only fault with mine was that the mass knob isn't very good. Sometimes turning it doesn't equitable change the volume; you need to turn it slowly. Also, iPhones and iPod touches essential be entered horizontally in the boombox, which makes changing songs troubling since it is always in the album cover view.

With the skills to play mp3-cd, usb flash drives, and SD cards, you can't expect to pay any less for this constituent being at only about $40. Works for me (improved than COBY)
I was looking for a disseminate/cd player with a USB port for use in an office setting. I instance purchased a COBY MP-CD471, but had to return the unit due to a thunderous humming noise the unit makes when earphones are worn. The NAXA unit was my second choice, and I really keenness I had purchased it before the COBY item. Thus far, it has met my expectations in every way. It has USB capabilities, the transmit unit works even in an office building where treatment is normally poor, and the CD unit is adequate. The speakers are ordinary, but for my purposes, they are acceptable as I am typically using earphones. If there were one convalescence I would make, it would be a digital tuner for the disseminate rather than the old-fashioned `wheel.' Other than that, I am unspecifically happy with the NAXA unit (for my limited purposes).
